  1. *damn double post*
  2. Here is a copy of the entry form attached
  3. I just got off the phone to him as a matter of fact. Pete and I have discussed his position. I have forwarded to him the summary of votes for the remaining positions. He will go over the votes and get in touch with certain persons regarding the Committee positions. So, Pete has bought himself some time. We should allow Pete 48 hours to ponder over the votes and the positions, after which the Committee will be announced. There were a few ties for positions, so I've left that to Pete to ponder over. Before anyone gets on here and claims there to be collaboration between us, there is no such thing. Rather I advised him that the votes should be his guide and we all trust his judgement, and have forwarded to him in PDF format the counts. Be patient people. I am preparing some brief minutes from the Sunday and will email those to paid members shortly, together with a running tally of funds raised from the BBQ. To be continued ...
  4. Sorry mate, Kell and I had been there for 3 hours by then. We started at 12.30 and pulled up stumps at 3.30. We had things that HAD to be done by end of day ... sorry I missed talking to you for a bit. Did you have a yarn to the other lads present? It was discussed that a dyno day would be good. But naturally, the elected Committee will decide.
  5. Its all outlined in the Constitution. The same Constitution that has been offered to anyone interested in reading it for the past 2 months! Please read it before posting and making blind statements. The key word in the Constitution is "Enthusiast".
  6. You seem stressed. Teaspoon of cement love? ... or perhaps a funeral plan for the unlucky soul?
  7. I'll do that for you a little later tonight Andrew. Mitch, do I have your email?
  8. Chefs have knives! ... and lots of them ... some ridiculously sharp, I must add!!!
  9. I still have a handful with me Cara.
  10. See? Photographic evidence that there is something spiritual about the Stagea and the colour blue! Bring on the blue mesh! On a similar note, one of my blue mesh panels dislodged and bit the big one today. Perhaps sabotage? Died a horrible death under the front right side wheel. Let us have a minutes silence please ...
  11. You want to live forever?
  12. Correct. I want to hear back from Sled first. First position voted in is the Secretary. When the Secretary accepts the position I hand everything over to that person (Pete) and they will count the votes for the remaining positions and fill those positions. It is out of my hands now. In the interim, I have also done a count and prepared a summary of the remaining votes to help Pete (or the accepting Secretary) with filling the other positions. I am keeping those (summary) result close to my chest, and the beans will be spilled later, when all winning nominees have been contacted. There are a few ties for positions and a close count, so this is up to the Secretary to decide who ultimately gets in (with the nominee's acceptance). Once again, thanks for those who attended and cast their vote. Thanks to Troy for babysitting the bbq ... and once again to Simon for allowing us to use his Ministry of Bass premises. Thats Ministry of Bass Buy something from him guys ... I seem to be
  13. As mentioned yesterday peeps, I'm yet to hear back from Pete regarding his acceptance of the position. Pete, you had double the votes of your nearest rivals. The people have spoken. Are you up for it still? PM me or call to discuss.
  14. Yeah, I'm loading up the bbq and stuff now. Better get off the net and move my ass. Picking Kellie up too around 12pm and heading on down then. Might finally meet Simon face-to-face today
  15. I'll answer this one for you. I was informed by the chap at AJD that Stageas are also on the list. So should be sweet
  16. Thanks Adam. This house is taking up alot of my time ... and I gotta set up for this bbq today.
  17. You might find there are a few add-on bits on the turbo version of the Neo
  18. When you said you wanted something powerful from me ... I didn't think you meant my Neo motor! In that case, you'll need the loom and ecu as well won't you? As above: f**k that! Engine swap itself will be easy ... with a hoist.
  19. Just the engine complete with box. About a day depending on your tools and skills. Including changing loom, ecu etc ... f**k that!
  20. I hate changing gearboxes Enjoy. Say hi to Paul for me.
  21. Disappointing. Cara, couldn't get her clothes off for her SAU brothers? Thats a bit selfish now isn't it?
  22. Then you make the mistake of marrying the woman! Suddenly its like giving the car a complete rebuild with HKS parts and go fast goodies ... she don't run on no normal 98RON fuel no more. No sir, the standards are set higher. She wants race fuel/E85. Then everyone is criticising you for spending too much on the woman and the power output isn't as good as your single mates. Then one day, bam! the car is gone and you're losing half your house!!! Sorry got carried away. Spot the divorced one
  23. Who's out tonight? I gotta head up to my brother's tonight for some hose clamps for the cooler [he works at Coventry Fasteners and scored me a complete set] Gotta be there at 6pm, so can't see why I can't be at Vilis about 7.30pm ... but I might get delayed.
  24. Yeah. Buy the box and conversion stuff (pedals etc) and do the work myself in my workshop. Then take it to a transmission place and just have them check it all over.
