Hey Damo. You were quick to join up here! So how hard was it to see the CBR go? We're having a small gathering at Vilis this friday night 8pm. Come meet some of the guys and sign up to come on the gepps cross Kart Mania night next week which I'm organising ... thats if Vanessa will let you play with the boys btw hows the 33 treating you? Tracy and I are moving this weekend to the new house. We might take some time out and drop by if your home, and take a peek at the new toy. I'm currently selling my GSXR600 race bike, so I can buy another RS250. Raced one before and I miss it. I think the 2 strokes are shit on the street, but awesome bikes on the track. I hope to be racing one again next year.

Morning! Got the tatt finished on one arm last night. Burns this morning Went for something different for the filling in of the outline. Pics to come. Basically looks like the way you'd wrap a mummy. 2.5 hours in the chair. Getting the other arm finished next week. I'll start a "show us your tatts" thread soon Its funny. Two girls came in last night for simple tatts. One wanted a name on her wrist and the other wanted a chinese character on her ankle (didn't know what character she wanted tho) Matt (my tattoo guy) and I placed bets on who would pass out first Actually, I bet the younger girl would back down (which she did). It was amusing watching her face as she was getting inked.

I won't be there for this one sorry. I'm moving house.

Yeah, I'd rather see the cash at Vilis this Friday for those prepaying, or bring the cash on the kart night (next Friday) but I'd like those to let me know either way.

I would like to see the payment this Friday night at Vilis 8pm. If you can only come up with it on the night of the karting then that would be okay, but you must advise me here (thanks Krishy) so I can get an accurate head count. Please let me know in advance if you can please. I won't turn you away if you just turn up on the night (some people might not know they're free until the last minute), but advanced notice would be helpful. Don't shy away just because you don't have the money this week. Karting is next week. We will be racing in either the 80 lap format for adequate numbers, or another format for lesser numbers, so no one need worry about not getting enough people to get involved.

I've always been into bikes. Cars are just an in-between interest. You're frowned upon as much as you are driving an import. But it does come down to where and when you ride. Just like if you cruise the city and bay Fri and Sat nights, you could be targetted as much. Same if you ride your bike the same stretch or in the known 'hot spots' in the hills. With the exception of RBT stops, I get pulled over on the bike 3-4 times a year. I haven't been pulled over in the car yet. Even tho I'm frowned upon more on my bike, it doesn't deter me whatsoever. Owning 5 bikes and 2 cars is evident of where my heart is at What do you ride?

WTF? Do you ride a bike Matt? The bike scene has always been here in Adelaide, just as long as the car scene. We just changed with the change in machinery available to us, and the law. We've always been the target of cops, altho we do our best to keep a low profile. And an absolute majority of us are not speed junkies or stunt junkies. You make it sound like cops won't chase us because we speed everywhere and we'd just run from cops. Far from the truth mate. You've just taken that false view that Joe Public has of motorcyclists and spoon fed it here. Don't go blaming the false view that because "cops don't bother" catching us, that they target car drivers like yourself. There is a small population of dickhead riders, but they just "passing thru". They are a minority and they usually give it up thru lack of commitment or because they "hurt themselves" You ride a bike, you learn to tolerate the attention from the law. Me and my mates ride together all the time. We get out to Mallala for track days very regularly. BTW fuel prices has resulted in increased sales in scooters. And scooter riders are not motorcyclists

Deja vu! Got pulled over last night at the same spot on Port road for the RBT. Same cop RBT me, another cop shone his light thru my cabin, asked about the GPS (thinking it was some boost controller no doubt) Again I got asked to pull over up the road and they looked over the things on the stagea as the night before. Didn't say much, just looked at it alot and let me go! They gave me a vote of confidence tho, said my "import" was one of the "more stock looking" ones out there. Sounds like they're keen to nick yas for Apexi gear or boost controllers or even the monster tacho. Watch out guys! Ruby: 2 Cops: 0
