  1. Coincidental that I hear it now that I fitted a pod filter! Actually, first time I've ran a pod filter on a turboed car, so I wouldn't know.
  2. Of what? The bike or the mags fitted?
  3. Yeah, recently fitted a HKS pod. So I must have a loose clamp weaker thant he BOV spring rate when i shut off the throttle? It actually sounds like the BOV exiting the atmosphere even so faintly. I got distracted fitting 18" mags tonite. I'll check the clamps first thing before work tomorrow.
  4. Ha! Not me. Did I mention I started the business for the Partners over 8 years ago? I've got a Bachelor of Business, Masters in Business, as well as MYOB teaching qualifications, qualifications in Accounting, qualifications in Drafting, and I have alot of experience in IT hardware/software installations and setting up of business networks. Trust me, there is no one out there with the amount of muti-skilling I have. I cover all areas of the business, including IT, Bookkeeping, Drafting, Managerial Tasks, Information Systems, Marketing; except the planning consulting itself. My salary is a 'little' higher than working at Maccas.
  5. Think I gotta have a look at the Stag tonight. I'm aware the BOV outlet is plumbed back into the inlet system after the AFM, but somewhere along this path I've got a leak. I can hear it, although all the piping/rubbers are in place. Might get the GF tonite to rev it and get it boosting so I can find the leak. 4 Qs tho: Anyone had this problem before? Obviously its not harming the engine? Is there a better method for checking the leak? How do I get the GF to clean my car while she's at it?
  6. Yeah, I put up with alot of BS being the manager and all (including from my bosses), but at least I get regular salary promotions that make it all worthwhile. I'm responsible when it goes wrong as well as going right, so the pat on the back is worth it. There's always far more ups than downs.

  9. I've got friends and family who work (or have worked) for Telstra. They all way the same thing: same bullshit, different workplace! But I'm sure it'll be a fresh start for you with less stress and shit.
  10. Haha! I just scored 5 cartons of the Belguim beer Mae! It pays to have family in the booze industry. I'm gunna get plastered this weekend. Got a wedding to attend Sunday (as well as Saturday), and the ex wife will be there
  11. I know all about hard/soft rubber and affects of heat and letting them sit around. I race my GSXR ... so tyre grip on two wheels is paramount
  12. Someone broke into it and tried to steal it. Ignition lock was busted, but it wasn't stolen. Ask Ben about the car.
  13. Contact Grim. Can't recall the price, but him and his missus are selling a 32 GTR ... they dropped the price a bit too recently.
  14. If I left my workplace, they'd be screwed. Been here over 8 years from day dot when it all started. I've built the business to what it is today. Actually, had a meeting with the business partners today and laid a few things on the line. I'm getting a raise soon! Plus, I might be sacking one of my admin staff.
  15. Bought a Stagea because Grim got me hooked on them when I saw his. But I got a Nismo RS4 not an RS260. Actually, I bought two. But selling one due to limited space. Got my black Stag because its something different in the sea of Silvias and Skylines, under estimated even. I've got a missus and 9yo and a dog, so it handles anything ... including my right foot. Actually, I can't keep the 9yo out of the wagon. He plays in it all the time.
  16. Best of luck. f**k 'em!
  17. Might swing past and take a peeky-poo LOL
  18. Anyone got a VG30BB turbo for sale or swap?
  19. Yeah. $261 each for the MA-Z1 I got a pair of Bridgestones 235/40 ZR18 today for $70 each. Both have 75% tread.
  20. BS I rang around. Cheapest was $248 each for Nankang at 18"
  21. Or Maxxis MA-1 tyres!
  22. Nankang? 245/40/18? Prices? PM me with a price for Nankang or Maxxis.
  23. Steve, I was wrong with what I was saying the other day. It was the MZ tyres that wore quickly and gave alot of road noise. It was then the MA tyres I tried next and they were much quieter and lasted a bit longer ... cheaper too. Going out for rubber now.
  24. Get her number?
