  1. Don't accountants cringe at the sight of muscles?
  2. Crap! The trailer I had lined up for my trip interstate is unavailable. Does anyone else have a trailer I can borrow from Saturday thru to Tuesday at the latest?
  3. Ah, sorry wrong Luke. Umm, let me think about the subframe. What size is it all up (dimensions) and weight approx? I MAY be able to do it if he can contribute to my fuel costs, and if it will fit with the rest of my gear.
  4. Between work, after-hours consultation appointments, TAFE on Tues and Thu nights, I too slacked off for a while. It is certainly hard to get back into it, especially when your lifestyle dictates any time that you have free. Most of my gym work now is in between ads on TV. I get up from the lounge and get on my home gym for a few reps ... and repeat every ad break. I don't have TAFE now, so I was able to pick up more training time after work.
  5. Wish I could fit in gym membership, but I just use my home gym regularly. Monday - karate Tuesday - running the lad around to scouts etc, a bit of home gym Wednesday - work (consulting appointments) then home gym Thursday - karate Friday - a bit of home gym then out riding/cruising I just don't have a set time to allocate to gym membership ... even tho I love working out at the gym.
  6. I'll be in Victoria this weekend. Coming back Monday night/Tuesday morning. Picking up a go kart for the young lad on the weekend, then doing the track day at PI on the Monday on the TLR. Gunna be sore as!
  7. Anyway ... Kellie, sorry I didn't take your calls last night (and your txt messages) ... I was in the middle of training last night. Have you considered using Stageas? Or are you content on Skylines only? I reckon a nice set of white 2 door R34 Skylines would be tops.
  8. I asked about that ... $490 fitted for something heavy duty like that.
  9. Sounds like oyu got caught fair and square Rodney and copped it on the chin, and got off easy in comparison with what could have gone down. Nice to see SAPOL is fair.
  10. Awesome. $327 for a towbar rated to 1500kg ... as I only need it for towing my bikes to the track. Did a great job around my exhaust and rear bumper too. Very neat.
  11. This thread is nearly 2 years old. Best to check the date of the last post before waking up a dead thread.
  12. Didn't quite work for us. Tracy and I had certain cars planned and 2 of them have been sold now ... good thing we didn't formally plan for it just yet.
  13. I need to borrow a trailer ... 6x4 or 7x5 sized. Can anyone help me out? Need it for this weekend, can return it Tuesday. Needs to be registered of course. I'm traveling interstate to pick up a go kart for the little lad. Can anyone PM me with any loan trailer they can grant me.
  14. Never said I was cutting up the fan ... hence why I removed it. I've removed the clutch fan and fitted thermos to my previous project cars ... including a supercharged SR20DE powered 200B and CA18DET VG30BB turbo powered 1600, and never suffered overheating. I'm just asking what thermos (for those who are) are being used on RB25DETs. Which is my thinking too. What 14" brand are you running? I'm also running a 52mm alloy radiator.
  15. Kellie, if you can get the paint matched (exact paint code) for your car, I've got spray painting equipment here (and I use to be a spray painter by trade). I'm doing my front bar the first weekend in March. Can fit yours in too if its simply a spray paint, no prep/sanding. I'll have some clear to go over the top too left over. Keep in mind tho I'll be in my garage ... no spray booth or baking oven. I've sprayed all my bikes (GSXR and TLR) so you've seen the quality of my work. I'll do it for you seeing as you're a good mate. I don't do private jobs anymore ... so no one else need enquire. Sorry.
  16. Thats 18 months away Kellie. Tracy and I have our wedding 13 months away and we're not planning the cars (Stageas at this stage) until 6 months or so beforehand. Car ownerships change in this amount of time. Just keep that in mind. ... and have a plan B!
  17. Fitted my fmic intercooler piping kit. What a pain in the arse that was. Couldn't be arsed trimming the radiator fan, so I've removed it altogether for the moment. Does anyone recommend an electric fan kit? I'll need to fit one before the track day.
  18. What happened to Dwayne in the shoot out? He just nudged me out of the top 3 by 0.4 of a second. I would have thought he'd improve on his 2m11s. Most happy with my time, considering I've never played it before, I thought I was going to suck at it ... I haven't even played any racing games in years. ... I prefer the real thing ... when I'm not popping engines
  19. Nothing wrong with getting spanked by a woman!
  20. Woolly jumper! Lame! And its spelt "kangaroo". So un-Australian! Obviously only good with numbers, not words eh Dan?
  21. Yeah, hate to point out the obvious skwiz, but bank transfers won't show until Monday now. Over the counter cash deposits straight into the accounts (if thats how you did it) should clear today. If you have a receipt (or evidence on a printed statement), as Steve said, bring it to avoid being asked to pay again.
  22. An RB26DETT powered holesaw??? Sure thing Lukey Yeah bring it along. Another member is will to loan me what they have, but I'm open to all offers ... for tools, you dirty minded mongrels!
  23. Hmm, can't seem to find any place that sells holesaw kits for my intercooler piping. Been to Bunnings, Autobarn, Repco, Supercheap, and many others. Who the hell sells such a thing that I consider a simple tool? Might just do it the traditional way and mark out the circle using a suitable cup size and drill out the circumference! Fitting new piping kit this weekend
  24. Yeah, Nene had a little cry when the 260 was sold ... but she is a girl afterall Going to see her tomorrow. I'll be sure to rub salt in the wound.
  25. +1 My job has varied so much in the 10 years, its never gotten boring. Sure I lock horns with the business owners from time to time, but we're professionals and we all know its in the best interests of the business. Just like this new bill system upgrade we got ... I was against it claiming there would be problems, sure enough the system has caused many dramas already. But I don't complain, I find a solution and the bosses are happy. Bring on my performance review! I have regular "business status" meetings with the bosses weekly (such as this morning) which I find boring tho.
