  1. Bastard. I was about to PM Vu.
  2. Spotted PUREZED on Fullarton Road at lunchtime today ... the driver was better looking than some old bloke I know
  3. I'm in. Form sent in. Payment on its way.
  4. Hmm, I won't say no if you do have one. I'll hunt for a venue to do the swap, and if they do not have one handy I might just hit you up for it! Figured I might just pull the engine and box out complete, swap boxes, double check bolt on bits on and around the engine, then put everything back in ... to eliminate the need for a hoist and multiple persons to hoist the box in place.
  5. Might have to get in touch with both of them then ... work something out. Done gearbox swaps many times, but I wanna do it once and do it right with the Stag. At least I'm finally sticking to my plans to go manual by the end of the year Hmm, just realised, I still do not have a flywheel. Better shop for one right now!
  6. Why is everyone talking about my bedroom?
  7. Hope the door doesn't hit him on the way out.
  8. You'd be handy if you had an engine hoist Should be picking up the box and bits tomorrow arvo ... then I can see how much trouble I've gotten myself into.
  9. Hiya all, I'll be picking up a manual AWD box for the stagea this week sometime, together with all the additional bits I need for the swap. Just wondering if anyone has done this kind of swap before, and if they would have any suitable premises for such work. My house is under construction for a house extension, so there is no room for me to do it there ... and I think Tracy has banned me from doing such work at home I'm no stranger to working on cars, but wouldn't mind a hand for ease of work and a speedy job ... plus its always best ofr another set of eyes to be going over the job. Not too keen on paying a workshop to do it ... but not keen on doing it alone ... so aiming for somewhere in the middle! There's a carton of beer in it for any assistance. I'm keen to start (and finish) the swap not this weekend, but the next. 33 is sold, so the Stag is my daily.

  11. Best investment I made was fitting a 52mm alloy rad. Stagea stays cool all day every day, even in 40+ temps.

  20. Mitch, I believe you've set a new record time for clearing a defect I'm heading out the door in a bit to take the Suzuki TLR 1000 for its first ride in 18 months. 1000cc of v-twin noise. Bike is a defect magnet, with its full titanium race exhaust system and no baffles, as loud as a Hardley, so wish me luck
  21. Mitch, done and done ... you've been added to the SA section too. Welcome aboard.

  23. That sucks to hear mate. Never good to lose a long term companion. Drove up to Hahndorf in the 33 on Friday night for someone to go over it with a keen interest in buying. Still waiting to hear back ... seemed keen so who knows. If the 33 sells, I get my gearbox swap for the Stagea quicker. On another note, finished rebuilding/rewiring my Suzuki TLR 1000 this weekend. Started first hit of the button and runs sweet ... seeing as I haven't ridding it in 18 months! She's now registered and I'm off for a ride today!
  24. Congratulations to Ben and Janene Fulcher ... ... on the arrival of Riley Fulcher at 6.01am this morning. A healthy 6lb baby and 50cm. Awesome ... considering Tracy and I bumped into them last night at the hospital We knew it wasn't going to be long now. Here's to the little guy ... next in line to the throne to Ben's hi-po toys!
