I'll be leaving after work on Friday and driving up then ... ... thats IF my gearbox is fixed by then. Bloody thing went into limp mode this afternoon during a test drive (after paying rego). It behaved itself on a later drive, but I'm still not happy about it. Its been to the trans specialist twice now. Its had its solenoids replaced, serviced, torque converter, shift kits, the works ... and its still not 100%. Already called them and had a rant. Going to head up there lunchtime tomorrow to see what the fault code is. I've spent $1600 on the box now!!! I could have, should have, done the GTR box swap now!!! If I make it up there, I'll be leaving after the dinner too ... sorry guys. Been away too much on interstate/country trips and just want some time with Tracy.

Just a quickie to say I'm back from the MotoGP weekend. Still catching up on sleep. I've got PMs and threads to catch up on now. Really wanna go outside and drive the Stagea ... but need more sleep.

See if an engineering shop, like Simax Engineering, can make one up?

I would hazard a guess and say its your coolant line from behind the inlet manifold, which runs around the back of the head, to the turbo. If the engine has ever been removed, chances are the pipe might have been crushed by the firewall (and subsequently a leak forming), or its simply the hose section right near the inlet manifold. Either way, its a bitch to get to (read: impossible). Removing the engine might be required.

Saw a few cops myself on the way in to the dinner. Had one drive real slow so I had to pass him on Port Road. He sat near me for a bit ... musta figured the 33 was too stock to bother with and turned off later down the road. Shame about Lukey. But I'm sure the car will be back with more awesomeness.

Damn, sorry to hear Lukey. But as has been mentioned, you've been so luck to get away with it for so long. Be a good opportunity to do that engineering for it now. Would love to see it complete soon And good-o for Craig and Heslo's luck.
