  1. Running richer due to the increase in flow. Thats half my problem too. Do you have an adjustable FPR?
  2. Dancing for the blue mesh I got the wooden spoon because my guesstimate for the day was way off to what I actually got. The 33 ran out of rego the day before the day, and I rushed putting my stagea back together for the day. I clearly got something seriously wrong with the fuel delivery, as my 100km old plugs are black as, and its chewing juice like its free. Stag is seriously under-powered and I'm sorting things out this week to find those lost ponies. I knew I was down on power, but I wanted to be in it rather than add to the people dropping out. Happy with best presented stag ... but with only 2 other stages there, the odds were good. It was still a good incentive for embarrassing myself with my dyno run tho.
  3. Apexi SAFC urgently PM me thanks
  4. You're not the only one Ben. I've fitted an 040 too and lost lots of power. But I've been losing some even before the upgrade. Pulled the plugs yesterday and they're black as! Maybe 100kms old and black as! Getting the stag booked into Southern Hi Tech soon to sort it all out.
  5. Apparently so. That ... and the other mods thats been done to the car. But I guess some people are so blinded by the blue mesh they can't see them.
  6. Agree alot is tongue in cheek. "What I would do" can of course be different in a real threatening situation. Some people are keyboard warriors, some are the real deal. Even a keyboard warrior, about to have his car ripped from him, can put up an impressive fight. While a 'tough guy' can be taken by surprise and 'lose the argument'. Point is, the situations are different and its how the individual handles the situation. Anything can happen ... even to a bloke like Pete or myself. We're not trained to handle each and every situation. If 2-3 blokes try to jack my car, I'll size them up, look for weapons and then make my own judgement if its worth it. Add something into the equation, like my 10yo lad sitting in the car, and it suddenly becomes risky for the two of us, not just myself. I'd let them take the car, and get my boy out. Each situation has so many variables. I've backed down from threatening situations because it was a bit sus (no pun intended) and I couldn't make that judgement that it was worth fighting for. As for BITSUS, he did the best he could do in that situation. Most people couldn't have done more. Kudos for him for trying. IMO (and its my opinion only, I wouldn't really recommend it) but if more people put up a fight and made it harder for these bastard thieves, we might see less car jackings. Thieves go for easy pickings because they are weak. BITSUS made their job a little harder this time around. So I agree, if everyone was as tough as they were on their keyboards, the world might be a little more disciplined.
  7. The lovely Janene is actually putting a DVD together for us of the Dyno Day. The pricing will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members, and it should be an awesome DVD. ... I just hope Nene edits out my dyno runs
  8. I'll repost my earlier comment also since the other thread is locked. Thanks to all who came and attended. A top effort to all. Good to see many cars with different power outputs having a go. Some God-awful fueling issues won me the wooden spoon ... but it was good to get in there and have a go even tho I knew it was down on power. At least I got best presented stagea. Congrats to Andrew (Blue32) for his 390rwkw win! Awesome to see those numbers.
  9. +1 Hope you got it back in near enough good/original condition. Bastards!

  11. To all the people on the reserve list, we have some spots being available. Please PM either Cara or myself to grab those spots. Cara will be starting a new thread shortly to make a final list or cars and times allocated for the day. Thanks.
  12. Anyone got a timing light I can borrow ... pleeeeease! PM me.
  13. +1 But I'm biased
  14. Anyone got a timing light I can borrow tonight???
  15. Unfortunately, my mate who bought it off me (and I'm subsequently buying it back off) resprayed it a yellow, red, green theme and I'm going to respray it back to its original colours (as in the pic). I gotta source the decals from the UK again ... but thats okay, because the Tyga race system is coming from the UK also. I've got until Feb next year to set this bike up ready for next season. Might sound like enough time, but I'll be working interstate 3 weekends over 3 months and due to missing some local practice days at Mallala, that only leaves me 1 (maybe 2) track sessions for myself to test and tune it. Check this out: Yes, thats a runway which goes right thru a major city highway. They shut the highway down everytime a plane needs the runway
  16. I bought this back: and this: = WIN! I might also throw some SAU:SA stickers onto it
  17. I won't be there. Got dinner with Kell tonight ... and any free time I have after that is chasing a misfire problem with the Stagea
  18. I've got a misfire issue with the Stagea in the higher revs I'd like to sort out before tomorrow. Anyone got a timing light they can lend to me? Also going to put in new plugs and double check my gaps.
  19. The most important part ... Price?
  20. There needs to be a balance in the world ... looks to me that you are the Chosen One skywalker!
  21. , and . please Go back a few pages, and you'll see a quick rundown on what to look out for.
  22. Noice!
  23. I will be taking membership applications and fees on the day, no problem. We can also issue you your membership card and members car stickers on the day too. If you're an entrant, it will also take $10 off your dyno fee. We'll have some announcements during the day that will please members. Do those two statements go hand in hand Penny?
