Hi all, long time since I posted Trying to sell my plates I've had for a number of years now. Is $350 too much or should I be asking more? How hard is it to transfer them over? Any of your experiences would be good to hear Cheers, Chris

Ah, Clint and Roy popping up in a thread, that takes me back to the good ol' RB20 days I miss my old car! Good luck with the sale of all the parts Clint, I have seen these running a while back and it made for an awesome car

Gave them new fluid and bleed and seems to have fixed it

Forgot to add, the brake light comes on as well

My brakes on my daily drive have been playing up, its a R31 The brakes feel fine, but after approx 30mins of driving they loose all pedal pressure and its only in the last 1/4 of brake pedal travel I get brakes Fluid level is OK, pads as far as I know are ok. I have not tried bleeding the brakes yet Anyone have any idea what this could be? Chris

Well, been a while since I have posted on here! Water pump went on my old 'wagon, and managed to change that over easily enough. Thought I'd throw a new timing belt on it while I was at it. Now, the belts on, nothing hits when I turn it over by hand and I *think* I have all the timing marks lined up, but I have a few questions.... I couldn't find a service manual so I found a few bits and pieces on the net. I have alligned the cam mark/dowel at 12.00 Crank timing mark alligned with mark on oil pump Marked out 53 teeth on the belt, and the top mark on the belt aligned with the mark on the cam timing wheel. (115 teeth on belt) But the belt on the crank is 2 teeth out.... Turn the motor over by hand, no bad noises/nothing hitting on the inside. It starts up, but sounds like its missing. Ran out of time, but not sure if the timing is still a bit out, or I might have damaged a plug lead or something? Any hints? Might have to go and buy one of those Haynes manuals...

In all honesty mate, been almost a year since I sold mine and I only miss it occasionaly. I don't miss having to watch my mirror constantly for cops and all the hassle that goes with it, or the expense of running/insuring it! Its awesome to drive down the 'bay or town whenever you want and not have to worry about police attention! Good luck with the sale mate, someone will pick up a bargain

R32 number plates - HCR032 $300 ONO One plate is a little damaged and needs replacing

Check and clean your PCV valve and make sure thats working. Had a similar problem with mine ages ago and thats what it was

Been a while since I have posted on here, got a few things lying about in the shed that I need to clear Buddy Club P1 16x8 (or 8.5 I can't remember exactly) rims, white - same as these - http://www.modyourcar.com.au/images/produc...dyclub/sp1w.jpg 2 legal tyres on the front, about 60-70% left, rears are pretty much bald. Want to clear them, $350 for the set Also, my custom plates to suit 32gsts, HCR032, don't need these anymore either, $300. One plate is damaged a little bit PM me if your keen, cheers

That wasn't a speed camera. It checks your registration to see if its current or if you have any outstanding fines etc.. if its out, the cops pull you over down the road How do I know? My Fiance got done yesterday by it, we completley forgot to re-new her rego and it was a month out. We used to rego our cars at the same time, but since I sold mine, it had both slipped our minds. The sticker is tucked away under the tint on the windsreen, so it wasn't obvious to either of us. Also, the cops gave the car a good once over, and threatend to defect the car for bald rear tyres. They are still pretty good, but as usual they had a bit of a power trip and scared her quite a bit. Even asked if she had any tatoo's or scars etc and if she knew the colour of her own eye's. So we be sent out a notice to appear in court. Needless to say, the car was rego'd within a hour of this happening. Has anyone else been in this situation, or know of the penalty?

Well after 7 years of faithfull service, my car is now sold! But I am pleased to say, its staying in the SAU family, just in another state! I look forward to following the progress over the coming years It brings to a end a great run I had with the car, taking it from a stocker fresh from Japan to the car it was when I sold it. Its scary to think of the money spent over the years, but the fun was worth it!! I'd just like to thank everyone from SAU for helping me along the way, and I hope I was able to help others with there cars too I've met some great people through my time here, and I hope to remain good friends even though I no longer own a Skyline. In fact, thats not true really, I am still driving a RB, in the form of a 31 Wagon But that is staying standard. I've still got my wheels to sell from the 32, and the personalised plates, so if anyone want the plates HCR032 for there R32 let me know, as they are for sale. Big thanks to Joel, Roy, Bl4ck32,Sydneykid, Targa Tom, PHAT32 and anyone else who has helped out along the way. Also thanks to Boostworx and Adelaide Imported Parts Plus for looking after my car - almost 200,000kms on the original motor, and 100,000kms at over double the stock RWKW shows these guys know what they are doing All the best to everyone, I'll still be around SAU now and then to see how everyones cars are coming along, and no doubt will be back in the future when perhaps a nice GTR might find a home in the garage, Regards, Chris

Well, my car has been sold - I'm left with the plates and the wheels, as per pics Buddy Club P1, 16 x 7.5" - 225/50/16. No scrapes etc, in really good condition Prices negotiable, the wheels have two good tyres, and two that are pretty worn, almost bald I'd like $500 for the wheels, not sure what the plates are worth, so all offers considered

Thanks for the bumps guys! I have a member off SAU currently interested, if that falls through then I will advertise it properly. In all honesty, I have been in no rush and would love to see it go to someone on here with a genuine interest in Skylines, rather than see it on the news after being crashed! Been ages since I even checked this thread, Joel, still have datalogit, Greg sold his car so no doubt we'll offer this at some stage Roy - yeah, unfortunatley I just don't need the car at the moment, and its costing me a fortune to keep it insured and rego'd to drive it a few time a month! Hows both of your cars coming along? Have you been to Adelaide lately Roy?
