  1. Stock airbox/snorkel available?
  2. Over the course of a weeks driving does it use much coolant? Not the same car, but my Commodore had similar issues after I replaced the radiator and thermostat, new fluid etc. I swore I'd done the head gasket, as after a few days there was little bits of oily crap on the rubber of the radiator cap. Then I checked the overflow, and it was in there too. It was using around 100ml of coolant a day. I found a heater hose that was a bit loose, and then dumped the coolant and replaced it. Its been fine ever since! The only thing I could think of was either the new radiator had a bit of crap in it, and the fresh coolant might have dislodged some buildup from the engine somewhere. Check the overflow bottle to see if its got the same stuff in it
  3. Yeah that's what I thought, cheers
  4. Had a look at a 4 door 34 today, it's definitely been converted from auto to manual however the engine plaque says rb25de not det, but it's defiantly turbo and been registered and complied as such. Doesn't seem right to me, anyone shed any light if they never had det on the chassis plaque?
  5. I'd be checking the PCV valve and associated breathers are functioning as intended. It looks like your getting excessive pressure in the crank case. If the PCV valve isn't closing under boost you'll get huge amounts of oil in the intake etc, just like your pic
  6. Ezyreg says its a Toyota if that helps
  7. Has anyone got one of these I can borrow for a bit? Chasing a few issues in a mates car and it would be handy to see what I can find Plan on using this software - http://www.nissandatascan.com/ Any tips?
  8. 1st July 02 for me Matt, would have to be whatisname I reckon
  9. I have another! - BCNR33023918 Cheers!
  10. Pretty amazing turnout, over 220 cars plus a dozen or so bikes. Got bloody cold, but great to see 'street only' type cars out there running some good numbers. As a note, anything running faster than 11.00 was given one more run then that was it.
  11. Great to hear/see this at the drags the other night. My favorite car of the night!
  12. http://racingonn.com.au/ Taking the little guy down for a look, looking forward to hearing some RB goodness
  13. I'd look at the timing first, then the 02 sensor. A mates car had similar issues
  14. Yeah thats the one, cheers
  15. Can you guys run this for me please - 6U9000BNR34004830
  16. What do they sell for in Japan now? They still seem to fetch a fair asking price over here, 20k for a car of that vintage is quite amazing!
  17. NSW plate in first post
  18. Yeah understand all that, having ownded a R32 for ages and modding it tastefully without it ever busting - and it still going strong now over a decade later I know what to look for mechanically etc. Haven't seen it in the metal yet, just pics etc, thanks for the input. Hope the thread starter doesn't mind the contribution, as it was about the 260RS I thought it was all relevant
  19. I have a real boner for the RB26, so the 260RS is appealing. Ideally I would like a GTR, but with 2 kids under 4, four doors and the storage space of the Stag tick the boxes. The 260RS I'm looking at is a very good price, so the cost differance isn't an issue Any clues as to the tell in the VIN number?
  20. Quick question, as I'm shopping around at the moment. How can I check how genuine a prospective 26oRS is? Is there a specific number or letter in the VIN Number like a N1 GTR or anything like that? Looking around, it seems most Stag's are up around the 150,000km mark, given the age they seem to be holding up alright? Thinking of a 260RS as a daily, to replace my Commodore
  21. Hi Alex, Beautiful car. Just a few questions, does it come with / do you have the stock bonnet or was this part of the accident replacement?
  22. Any pics of the rust / location of it?
  23. I've seen this car around a few times, very similar to my old car Good luck with the sale, unfortunatley I won't be in the market for a few months yet
  24. I'd just spent the last 20 mins drooling over this build, to see it busted up is a real shame. At least it looked liked it had some real good use before its demise!
