  1. the club is look at insurance we can get 10 000 000 worth of public liability cover not sure if thats enough though we will know soon cost will be about 10 permembership and may be a premium onthe day nismo r34 in racing you pay for your own damage
  2. ben the price is good but check what car it came from I'm serious there are lots of different turbos in the td 06 range buster's turbo is a td06 20g and I think sidways had a tod6 25 g
  3. meggala

    my new wheels

here hoping you get it it will be a tight squeeze
  4. they normally go on evo's or subaru's I think the ones for nissans are the 20 or 25 what size exhaust housing does it have a 8 10 or 12 cm but as a rule if you can get it to fit it will be laggy full bost from 4k rpm may be higher meggala have a browse through this http://www.trust-power.com/product/GReddy/...y/greddy-1.html
  5. mine had around 150 rwkw but my 60' time was 2.3 to give you a guide so mid 13 is possible with work on the launch
  6. I am currently running an rb 25 turbo andhave run a vg 30 turbo on my car the rb 25 turbo doesnt make as much paower as the cg 30 but come in earlier my car has run a 14 flat @ 98 mph the car made 148 rwkw and could of made more as the tune was conservative from the sounds of it the hks turbos are the way to go. I have driven a car with a hi flowed vg 30 turbo it was awsome (dr_drifts old car thecar ran a 108 mph at the drags but had to much wheel spinfor a great time that or the hiflow rb25 turbo is the next option I"m considering at the moment. as a guide you really dont want the exhaust wheel much larger than 54 mm on an rb 20 as this makes the car way to laggy ie full boost over 5 k rpm a cremapped ecu makes a world of difference as well we found gains of 15-20 rwkw at a recent dyno day meggala
  7. Ihave run a 14 flat @ 98 mph with r33 turbo cooler and exhaust there are a couple in the low 13's meggala
  8. the car in the reply I made is defiantly a daily driver jsut noisy etc but fine around town
  9. russ why do you need a wolf dr drift does ecu's he has one r32 making 191 rwkw up to and over 200 is possible and he can do bigger ijectors etc if necassary I run one of his ecu's and use an s-afc for fine tuning jsut a thought and he is local to you. an r33 is a different kettle of fish as their ecu is not remappable
  10. also I fitted the cooler to my cefiro it is the return type whihc is fine up to say 400 hp.
  11. my r32 made 148 rwkw in the vic dyno day with the stock cooler running a very conservative 11.8 a/f ratio and 13 psi my car has an r33 turbo I had a front mount fitted to the car but when I removed it I found no major loss of power at all. meggala
  12. yep for those pwoer goal fefinatly there have bene a few cases where the transplant has been doen and the people wanted to go over the 250 rwkw and they went rb 25
  13. Thread cleaned up Dale...
  14. I dont think you can keep the vct with the gtr cams from what I have heard the stock gtr cams are similar to the gtst cam BUT they are fully adjustable ie cam gears on both sides and more durable being soild lsfter type meggala
  15. go the rb 25 with out a doubt thats the one for tha task you want no question no doubt I own an rb 20 and 250 rwkw is possible but not as easily as the rb 25 cheers
  16. dont you jsut love it my wife loves it as well
  17. btw guys I'm yet to see a 10 second gtst on radial tyres:)
  18. your such a sook inark you really are dingley is more than 25 klms from the city heidelberg is only 15
  19. hahaha rigga we are talking turbo 6's not v8 the car I posted the pics of doesnt drink the fuel till you hit 6 k rpm so you can go to the shops easy with it
  20. who said you need twins yeah I know but any way
  21. well one of my points is that you dont need forged pistons or different rods to make 700 hp from an rb 26 that is a proven fact you need turbo / 's to suit and a fuel system cams you can reprogram the r32 gtr ecu or you can fit a plug in power fc or what ever ecu you like. take for example an rb 26 for sale fully rebuilt stock pistons 272 cams balance, ecu etc 7500 turbo /'s to suit 3-4k injectors 1 k cooler 1500 ,fuel pumps 600 add 2k for things forgotten am I close?
  22. so I have heard hence the prices I said its good discussion there are pros and cons for both set ups
  23. well most rb 25/30's I have heard of that could run into the 10's are 15-20 for the whole setup with the rb 26 for that kind of money you can make 700 hp with out a problem you have a motor that is designed to run that sort of out put and has a lot of little things the rb 25/30 doesnt. this is some thing I have given a lot of thought to If you can show me a complete package rb 25.30 built that will make 700 hp for under that I"m all ears and yes I'm including engine managent turbo's injectors etc I havent even started on the drive train yet iether but of couse RS500 your talking about a slopomatic as well not a manual didnt sub zero get 2 r 33's with rb 25's in to the ten's the 25/30 has its point but I agree to disagree with you re their suitability for this application
  24. its achiveable but you would have little or no driveabiliity what you need is a package like this. see below. the rb 26 is the most cost effective way to get your car into the tens and yes it will cost quite a bit but its doable full pics of the car here it is a gtst not a gtr http://www.meggala.com/ther32hot.htm
