  1. Usually the dreamers that join up on here are shot down pretty quickly once they start asking insane questions..like "Ok, I got an R34 RB26 cheap, can I put it in my S15?" *cough* Usually around the school holiday periods..Uh oh, summer break coming up.. Edit: ok, time for my contribution to this thread.. Possibly the sweetest R33 GTSt coupe..abcent's GTSt And Spooks_Skyline's R33 GTSt sedan.. Attached pics: Shin from ProSpec's Mine's-tuned BNR34
  2. Limited run of 11 made (apparently) to be sold to the public, 2 or 3 bought @Rezz; VERY NICE PHOTOS :aroused: I'm drooling here just looking at the 400Rs :| Thanks for posting them up~! Oh, and the Zero R article was at the back of HPI Issue 28..I'll see if I can scan it in and upload into my gallery
  3. Nismo GT4's, still made by Rays (under commission from Nismo however) About the HKS Zero R's; There were 10 HKS Zero R's made in 1994, only 2 were bought however..The remaining 8 we're parked behind the HKS factory for the last 10 years, gathering moss and rust..sad story They were utter beasts too! RB26 stroked to 2.8ltr's, running a large single turbo with all of HKS's top of the line parts (ECU, EBC, HKS gauges, list goes on..) and were producing 400ps stock (around 300kw@fly) but could support 700ps (520kw@fly)..Racing-style fuel tank sitting behind the front seats (ie. no rear passengers) with the fuel filler welded into place behind the driver's side door..Will get more when I find that issue of HPI (and my only issue at that..)
  4. 33 GTS4s look the same as a 2 door GTSt, and they also came in 4 door sedans Another thing to remember is that since they (GTS4) are non-turbo, they will have the 4-stud hubs and GTS brakes, meaning if you want to swap an RB26 in, a brake upgrade would be needed (brake upgrades are required here in Vic if you want to swap another engine in anyway, not sure about NSW) You might as well swap the gearbox/diff and possibly the ATTESSA system as well~ An RB26 swap into an R32 GTS4 would be heaps cheaper and far more simpler and straight forward, because the drivetrain is basically the same as the R32 GT-R's.. Nissan fact: After seeing alot of their R32 GTS4s being upgraded to RB26 making a cheaper GT-R, Nissan changed the drivetrain in the R33 GTS4's and made them non turbo Same thing could possibly happen to FPV with their F6 Typhoon, being very similar to the Ford MkII XR6Ts, an ECU flash from the Typhoon and a bigger intercooler fitted to a MkII XR6T would make it a Typhoon on the cheap~!
  5. In a GTSt it wouldn't be possible to have the awd system, because the chassis is different to GTS4's and GT-R's Would be a better to carry the conversion out in a GTS4 (non-turbo with the awd system) the purple "GT-R" Advan Racing in Syd (or was it NZ?) has was a GTS4, with full RB26 engine/gearbox transplant and fenders done to it Or you could swap the RB26 over, convert it to rwd (you can keep the gearbox, basically the same internally just the difference is the awd transfer case/diff/etc that's attached onto the GT-R box) This is all related to the R33 btw
  6. correction, Christmas Trog dor!
  7. [offtopic] Yes, but why would you rid the RB26 of its true-twin set up (by true-twin I mean non-sequential, i.e. both turbos spool and produce +pressure (boost) at the same time) setup in favour of a sequential twin setup? Sequential systems are good in theory, but by having the huffers sharing the same exhaust manifold, they suffer from the "gate" (for lack of a better word) that switches between the small and large huffers being jammed or stuck, rendering the sequential setup partially useless..Examples are FD series RX-7s and JZA80 series Supras [/offtopic]
  8. What's wrong with a classic look..? Just because it doesn't have 18" blingers, a bodykit, and a sik paint job, doesn't mean its ugly.. To each their own I guess..
  9. Starcorp "Impuls" i believe

  23. Ahh yep, basically the PStwo is just a hold off until sony's official release of the PS3 (whenever that will be..) Went to Target/EB/K-mart down here in vic and all of the older model (read: chunky) PS2's were taken off the shelves and the PStwo's were put in their place.. Wonder if the $294 for console + free platinum game still applies to the PStwo?
