  1. has the steering surround gone? what is the top of it like condition wise? Do you have the driver's side a-pillar cover that runs from top of dash around top of door frame to B pillar?
  2. which seals? there are 3 per injector, Nissan sell em!
  3. this is interesting, i have both and play both online. I can never find an Australian server for COD4, maybe I have not created the right xbox live server. I have no idea how to pick country servers. I simply select find game, pick the type and it whacks me into a server. Unlike say battlefield on PS3 where you can see all the game servers and select the ones with the lowest ping for you. High ping sucks cos you are dead before you even see the other bloke ROFL. I reckon the graphics are pretty similar, in fact sometimes I think the xbox is better. I have had no problems with joining on line with PS3, i found chatting and adding friends is easy on both. much of a muchness, but if I had to choose again, I woudl go PS3 just for the bluray but if you do not have a native fullHD tv why bother?
  4. ah okay cheers mate, nice one!
  5. just seen ya winning pic on 92.9 - noice and good on ya for quitting smoking too!
  6. you will also find that Nissan will need to pay taxes when they bring the car into the Country. The GST and Customs taxes will be assessed on the day the cars leave Japan, so the exchange rate will most definitely increase the taxes you have to pay by a shit load.
  7. Congrats, BTW do you mean December not October? wot pic did you lodge that won, stupid work internet thingo will not let me access 92.9
  8. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm never failed for me
  9. Having just replaced a lot of OEM parts with aftermarket goodies I have the following for sale all taken from S3 GTR with genuine 58,237 kms when removed: I will be shortly going to x-speed to check out the condition of all this lot, but it should all be very good given the overall well looked after immaculate condition of the car. Once I get back after lunch I will edit with condition. All items in WA and can be shipped at buyers' expense via their preferred carrier. I will pack all items carefully as if I was buying them and will take them to Australia Post to obtain postage costs and then reply with actual cost. Given this is going to take time and effort on my behalf, please do not ask me to get you a postage cost if you are not serious about buying. thanks and happy shopping 2 x stock turbos - $500 stock cams - $300 Stock injectors - $300 stock dumps - $100 stock manifolds - $100 stock fuel pump - $75 stock front pipe - $75 stock coil packs - $200 1 x trust a-pillar twin gauge holder (great condition i just moved to a three dash top one) - 100. Pics will be up tomorrow afternoon. Cheers Simon
  10. You know the plastic bit that surrounds the steering column (boss kit) that runs b/w the back of steering wheel and where the instrument cluster begins plus the bit that surrounds the ignition barrel. Mint nick please, only shitty part of my interior from where Japanese owner had a fetish with plastic cementing a turbo timer? WTF 0438 942 693
  11. any comments greatly appreciated
  12. ^^^ ROFL deja vu
  13. not so honest that he let you leave without telling you but at least he has come good now! nice one
  14. ok, had my car finally finished http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...79#entry4293079 Not overly happy with power result but tuner wants me to run it for a few weeks and then bring it back to lean on it a bit more. Few questions: 1. I have an Apexi boost gauge and water temp gauge that were on the a-pillar and running through an apexi gauge contoller and fuller working. shop suggested i move it from the a-pillar to the top of dash in a nismo holder because a-pillar illegal. No problems, it gets moved and the apexi oil temp gauge that was mounted solo gets put into holder. Now pick car up - oil temp not working, waiting on a splitter to run through gauge controller - no dramas. Water temp works fine, controlled through the gauge controller as before. Boost gauge however, does its start up check (gauge swings from left to right and back), the needle lights up, but does not register/read any boost (stays at rest point) and when I turn headlights on, back ground does not light up as it used to either. Any suggestions what the issue could be? The EVC6 was installed so maybe this could explain why not reading boost, but the back ground lighting not working is weird. Also the gauge controller 'peak' and 'warn' functions do not work on the boost gauge anymore. Water temp works as it should. 2. I supplied a HKS adjustable fuel reg and the adapter. When pick up car, was told, will not fit with standard fuel rail, so a nismo one put on. I will sort out the cost difference in my favour but wondering if this is actually the case. Also told the nismo one bolts straight onto the fuel rail and no extra fittings needed?? 3. Is it usual for when the car starts for the knock to go to like 100 odd. When it runs the most I have seen even under full accel to 7,500 rpm, is 21 and usually well under 20, but after start up when I hit the recall peak, it sometimes reads like 100 odd, but then other times it reads 1 or 2 before I reset. I am not sure actually whether it is start up or turn off that causes the knock, but definately not when running. Does the pfc reset when engine turned off which then means the high knock read is coming on start up? Asked shop about this before I had mods done (about resetting PFC monitoring after start up) and was told no need and if there is large knock on start up, the engine bearings are f**ked?? I hope this is wrong! 4. from above link, you will see all my mods, 380 hp at 17.1 psi odd seems a little low I reckon given all the other results in the sticky? any comments, ill post the graph up asap. Also I have noticed that setting B on the EVC has max boost at 18.1 PSI but it never gets there, the most I have seen is 17.1 and the tuner did say this was what he had set it at. Is there any internal setting other than setting A & B (low and high boost) that will limit the boost regardless of what low and high is set at?
  15. just had all this stuff fitted, so a light tune, advised to drive for a a while then run it up again and crank up the boost etc. 1997 R33 GTR standard bottom end GENUINE 58,250 Tomei pon cams type B 260,260,9.15, adjustable gears, cam cup stud kit. HKS fuel pump (I did have adjustable HKS regulator but Xspeed changed it to a Nismo one??) HKS racing chamber kit Mines stainless pro front decat Kakimoto Mega 3.5 cat back HKS extension kit. HKS GTSS Tomei manifolds Sard 700's evc 6 AT 17.1 psi PFC djetro splitfires I think that is about it for relevant mods - 380 RWHP, ill post up graph asap. I am hoping for this figure to increase when it goes back in!
  16. so three to 4 hours would be absolute most then, cheers
  17. Dood it goes well, it has the 6litre gen 4 in it, a kosteki pod and cold air partition, a set of pacemaker headers, twin metalceramic race cats into twin 3 inch intermediates, then into a twin 2.5 inch rear, all custom. I was going to supercharge it but then decided on the GTR instead.... they go pretty good mate, traction is a problem though and the clutches are shite
  18. yep it is, I double checked my post, I said 33, left out GTR bit....
  19. As title says, how long would it take from beginning to end to replace stock 33 GTR clutch with HKS twin? incluing gearbox etc out and then back in again. (in a workshop with hoist etc) Just curious cheers
  20. Jess what number centrefold are you? I have seen a picture of you on here and the picture of the person that is number 1 does not seem to be the same??
  21. which is exactly why the 370 will not make the 350 drop in price too much. I bought a Feb 2007 track 350Z a few months ago for $50k, the bloke paid $72 on the road plus $5k of wheels and $3k of suspension. I reckon $50k was reasonable with only 18,000 kms on it.
  22. Hmmm, sure are some fine young errr cars here in WA in order of purchase: me: The ute to haul the doggies around in: The 33: (picking it up from Xspeed on Friday so will FINALLY be able to take some decent pics of it!!!) The workcar: A cute puppy shot (with my arm hehe):
  23. wow there are some stunners in Perth! (not gay!) haha
