  1. fail on my last post. thats just what the last owner told me. now with rb25, splitfires, microtech lt12s, fmic, 3" catback, avcr running .85bar.

  3. ive owned my ceffy since may, and have seen 3 on the road, one in sydney, one in coffs harbour and one in brissy. not too many about.

  6. yeh throw fork whatever nissan call it, subaru call it a release lever. im pretty keen on this, might take a week or two to get the cash though ill keep in touch.

  10. torque, in my opinion should always be measured at the flywheel. gears and differentials will amplify torque. most people use 4th gear on a dyno because it is the closest to a 1:1 ratio supposedly, and will give a more accurate torque figure, using first gear would give a torque figure maybe 5 times higher because of the lower ratio. ive heard a few people say they have 2000nm of torque and they laugh at ford f6's which make 550nm. in truth the ford would probably chop them. its all about where you take your reading with torque. hope that answers your question.

  12. yeah im running a lt12s on the 25 in my cefiro and it is a pig when its cold. idles like ass. sometimes within the first minute it just stalls on its own or if i touch the throttle too heavily. it hates cold starts and from what ive picked up, low voltage too. runs perfect in my opinion when its warm though. and with similar mods to you but ignition coils that were totally rooted i only made 190kw with 12psi. only found out they were stuffed once the tuner increased the boost. booked in again in 2 weeks. if i hadnt bought the car with a microtech fitted already i'd have gone for a pfc.
  13. nah i said that the ratio wouldnt change unless it had been recalibrated, and as far as i know, mine hasnt. the avcr reads 200rpm at idle. i dont know whats doing there. its way off. but yeah its the original rb20 cefiro box with a rb25 infront of it.
  14. yeah the wheel size/diff ratio wont affect the measured speed displayed by the speedo, because it is tailshaft rpm, and that ratio will always remain the same regardless of wheels/diff<edit> (unless it has been calibrated). so what im asking, does anyone else have a 5th gear that looks like that. or do i have some freak short ratio box. alternatively, the car is running a microtech ecu. could the tacho be reading incorrectly? the avcr reads the rpm different to the tachometer. when the car was tuned last i told them to put a limiter on. and unless they set it somewhere on the wrong side of 8000rpm, it hasnt got one. which makes me think, maybe they did set it. and the tacho is reading high. going back for another tune in a few weeks i guess ill get them to check it out.

  21. yeah just noticed in my cefiro, has had a rb25det conversion before i bought it. the o2 sensor isnt plugged in. running a LT12s could this be the reason that 400km is a good tank? or is my right foot to blame like i originally thought.
  22. ahh i just posted in another thread similar to this, but i have the same problem, my rear right window goes down when i turn the ignition on.
  23. while we're on the topic, when i turn my key to ignition, my rear right window goes down. sometimes all the way, usually only part way. i have no idea why.
