  1. i dont think so, pretty sure you can nistune any of the s2 ecu's rough price on the nistune group buy? Ideal time for me to get it done as i don't drive my car till june and then won't again until november
  2. mad, so i can save $95 because i have the ecutalk display (doubles as the cable)

  5. Yeah that's just the price off their website
  6. its $460 if you include the software (excluding GST tho) board + fit + optional software would be good (cant get to nsw for the tune part)
  7. yeah grab an o2 sensor off of vulture motorsport (sau sponsor) you will also need a crimp tools and some crimp connectors (stainless steel wire, cant be soldered) dropped my fuel consumption a tiny bit and it was pretty good before (record of 9.8l/100km going up to qld from melb)
  8. Carbon isn't very stiff if its just laid on flat maybe grab some core material if you want to stiffen it up some more (you can make some little stiffeners by laminating some core material with carbon over the top) update on the dirty wan: sprinted down to hobart yesterday and picked up a rear windscreen for $20! to replace the one i exploded by accident booked in on wed for the reinstall, ($110 at obriens)
  9. with 10psi and the mods you mentioned you should get towards 200awkw and still be able to get around 500kms from a tank its probably good insurance to change your fuel pump too, a walbro/deatchworks (sp?) will drop in, a bosch 040 will not
  10. no problems running staggered as long as the tyres are EXACTLY the same offsets sound a tad ghey i think for rs4s use r33 gtr specs something like 18x9+12 or 18x9.5+15 www.willtheyfit.com, measure up your current clearances (plumb bob and ruler to see how much inside the guards they are now) chuck in your current wheel specs and play around with offsets till you get something you like
  11. nistune is about $350 without the software (off the top of my head) + cost of tune pfc is $1000+ +cost of tune with an exhaust and no tune on 7psi my rs4s was making 135awkw 10psi and a nistune + tune will get you near 200awkw a guy i know with another rs4s said the tune was the most noticable mod he has done so far also, the cost of tuning a nistune would only be a little more than a piggyback but you will get much better results
  12. was there a lip on the old rotors?
  13. probably need to do the idle re-lean procedure ask in the stagea section as the m35 guys have to do it on the vq25's
  14. RS4S has hicas too (and gtr forks) I'd say that the gtr "narrow" cradle takes fork style and autos are eyelet
  15. you want a high mass flow rate for more heat transfer so therefore more air going through it so therefore less time per particle i can dig out my thermodynamics book if needed
  16. I've found that the wednesday night test and tunes are much better as fewer people go i think i got a lot more runs in when i went on a wed compared to a sat (pretty sure i only got 2 or 3 on the sat)
  17. can you elaborate on the low oil pressure?
  18. I'll be on the coast mid june till mid july so i'll come if its on then
  19. Grab one from vulture motor sports off here (trader section) The Neo plug will be different but nothing some crimp connectors can't fix
  20. I paid $220 off the eBay for a koyorad branded one (manual tho but apparently they do auto too)
  21. Got the 31 regoed and its on the road again!
  22. in the process of regoing the r31 today and stumbled upon this "Can an unregistered vehicle be towed? A permit must be obtained even if the vehicle is being towed by a registered vehicle, unless the registered vehicle is a tow truck." http://www.transport.tas.gov.au/registration_information_tas/short_term_unregistered_vehicle_permit what the? also, i thought you could just drive your un-regoed car around IF you were getting it fixed/going to the pits, but on that it says you have to get the permit to do it! Big ooops if you can't because the car may be getting a road worthy cert as we speak
  23. Rear r32,33&34 are all the same
  24. Yeah, valued at $100,000 apparently, was a story in the mercury or on their website at least
