  1. so cheap! is it up on carsales?
  2. probably the cas starting to go, dizzy cap and rotor were pretty good last time i looked
  3. e85 is ethanol (85%) you can just get bigger injectors and a tune but ideally you'd run an ethanol content sensor and an ecu that can read it (most $1500+ ecu i think) this will let you put 98 or e85 in and it will adjust to suit otherwise you will probably hit detonation if you ran 98 on your e85 tune
  4. oil and filter change on the 31 $25 later and its a happy car again although it look some coaxing this morning to get it going
  5. Try a different cas?
  6. I'd like to see some stao results with one of those NZ steampipe manifolds
  7. yeah mine was r33 i think (easy for me tho, no auto trans cooler needed )
  8. Got mine off eBay, $220 ish no regrets (had an alloy on in between and it was junk)
  9. i'd do a 25neo + some form of 25 box (some ppl keep the 20 box but thats asking for trouble, plus you can sell the whole 20det and box as package to the s-chassis guys) then highflow stock turbo/hypergear's big turbo with stock front housing (looks stock and still runs an internal wastegate or cheapy NZ manifold + kando t67 + 40-50mm wastegate one will keep a stock look, one won't look anything like it, both should get near your goals then for the neo motor, get some id1000's (reportedly run really well and can still give you good economy but will give you ability to run e85) z32 nistune the neo ecu (make sure you keep vct!!!) personally, ill be running one of these when i eventually get round to it http://www.deatschwerks.com/dw300-fuel-pump-tech/ either turbo should get you up around the 300kw mark, maybe even 350kw on e85
  10. The 260rs's ran the same suspension setup as the manuals so they might have a listing for that Bo be honest, everyone seeems over the moon with their bc's I'd say that the tiens will be very stiff like most Japan coilovers, the bc's are reported to ride very well on the soft settings
  11. so tempting, my stagea isn't getting driven in qld much either
  12. Yeah there are good deals out there but I couldn't find any when I wanted to upgrade that weren't a billion dollhairs
  13. Yeah a few ppl are chasing those, i happen to have one if someone can find someone locally to make them up i reckon i could lend mine to become a mould but then my car won't look so unique anymore
  14. dam, i thought that was a few days after i get back but its the day i fly out (land in cooly at 5ish) have a good one guys, will have to catch up over summer
  15. looks perfect to me I'll go 18x9.5 +12 too i reckon....when i get my new wheels.....in the distant future
  16. +1 to alex nothing to do with offset, all about back space also, your looking for anything R34 (gtr or gtt) i got mine through this guy http://stores.ebay.com.au/Skyline-spares was really cheap too (compared to what some ppl try and flog them off for (i paid $330 for calipers only)
  17. I'd definitely be changing your o2 sensors before you come across, your gonna need as much economy through the straight stuff as you can get also a couple of octane boosters would be good insurance but 98 is available most places in the bigger towns
  18. not idea, as you will need some spacers to take up the difference in bolt size (r32 and r33 run a 12mm bolt opposed to r34/c34's 14mm)
  19. got another tire for the 31, watanabe's are back on all round and looks a lot less bogan now (had stockers on the rear) also found out that they are deffinately welded together but still 3 peice this puts getting the fronts made into rears on the back burner which is sad
  20. Car Model: C34 S2 RS4S Item: Drivers side folding mirror motor (P/n: 963695L000)
  21. Hi guys and girls Seeing as the thread in the for sale section is getting everyone excited about the rain guards i thought this would be relevant NOTE: I am not an importer, I just want to see what kind of items would be group buy-able If you could include the following at the beginning of your post it will make everyone's lives easier: Car Model: Item:
  22. turbulent air actually has higher resistance compared to laminar flow, plus you run the risk of getting an uneven air flow over the maf know much about reynolds numbers?
  23. could have also cracked a water line when manipulating it, pissing a small stream of coolant onto the rear housing/dump pipe easiest way to tell: what does it smell like?
  24. 31 is alive! Just as well i didn't send the gf off to uni in it tho, i left the afm unplugged and took me a while to figure it out anyone got a 33 clutch fan that they want to get rid of? i wanna piss this thermo fan off (will swap if you want, has temp controller and relays and stuff but i think the temp controller is dead)
