  1. yeah i read about your problems, sucks big time but hey always happen good to hear the coating is working out for you
  2. Cant believe how long its been already - hoping to get a bunch of stuff fitted for the cruise on the 30th - see how that goes car needs some tunes, so a mount for the Amp needs to be fabricated asap.
  3. couple of pics i took of the 34 GTR while over @ brads shop
  4. why cant you run a spacer between the chassis and the standard buckle and simply bolt it into the tunnels hole for the seat mount? it would get you by, but is not ideal. other option is to have a motor trimmer that does seat belts to source a buckle that they can sew up a strap like a rear lap sash belt.
  5. colo high school is in north richmond lol - all good bud, must be another white s1.5 m spec out there if you see green wheels around, it'll be me
  6. could have been the night before lol - time doesnt mean much to me these days
  7. were you parked in the gravel pit above colo high last night?
  8. http://www.norwesttools.com.au/page/shop/flypage/product_id/30249/a/category/e/automotiveservicetools_engineservice_amp;repair/offset/42 wonder if they still have them in stock
  9. pretty good chop on the rims too, thats how i would see them coming out if they come to me
  10. spewen i couldnt make the cruise, dont get enough chance to see work once its back on an engine. nice work boys!
  11. i used 355 x 32mm front and rear. rears require an alloy hat that as far as i know only available from Specialised brake and clutch in penrith NSW - thinner rear disc could be used, but 355 x 32 is a common size therefore should be cheaper to replace when required. fronts just needed a spacer bracket, rears needed the caliper spaced out to fit over the 32mm rotor along with the mounting brackets. custom lines all around car drove fine, but without the bias test or a track day its hard to tell how the bias is going.
  12. 900 will spin an R33 gtst over it just, so the sprinter i'll be using mine for should be fine haha
  13. how did you go with this things michael? im starting to get some motivation to get mine started im looking at 900mm vertical runs which may be too high one i add the 75x75 under it and the casters once i purchase some.
  14. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi_06_-_guidelines_for_light_vehicle_modifications_nov_2007.pdf page 3 - not sure how an engineer doesnt know that call autosport engineering in kirrawee for engineering your conversion
  15. what size difference? capacity? seems strange engineers are following rulings that arent currently released to the public. should be able to whack a 4.4L turbo motor in there
  16. if the ECU cant easily switch the pump, get an LPG relay from an LPG fitter - has a tach signal wire so it cuts out at loss of pulse i.e. stall -------
  17. fuel one is easy, you just jumper the 2 earth pins on the plug to that unit under the parcel tray and its on 100% full voltage
  18. ultrasonic tubs wouldnt be - but if the plenum is shiny underneath the dirt (ie no corrosion yet) then a normal acid bath that are used for heads would do the trick hare and forbes in brisbane would have the glass beads, but i would try an engine re conditioner first
  19. blasted alluminium is a greyish beige colour, so what you are describing is not an issue. for a blasting process to leave you with some shine you would need to use glass beads so that it peened the surface to create the shine.
  20. Only if they are your walls!! lol
  21. Bit more mundane, but still interesting New TV stand i profile cut and folded, welded then coated. next one will be fancier, with the samsung logo cut out of it
  22. looking good terry, nothing wrong with recycling to get exactly what you want @ lotus GTR - it is basically a Satin black, though the one used on Terry's rims have an additive to increase the flow properties to get a smoother finish than most satin blacks.
