fit a pod filter. The noise will come out the filter with no airbox to muffle it. If you really want the noise. otherwise let people think its a non-turbo till you blow them away!

road to honeysuckle creek is still closed from the fires, and orroral road has a lot of debris on it. I live out near tidbinbilla and even this road has been ripped up pretty good by the logging trucks, but can still "cruise" (heh, heh, heh) at 130-150 kph for a lot of it.

I am thinking of painting my r32 but have no idea what it costs. My main reason for the paint job is because i have a small patch of rust next to the back windscreen and don't know how well the current paint can be colour matched. I know the paint will cost ~$500. What about the labour?? Thanks.

How well do some of the aftermarket panel filters remove dust particles? I live on a dirt road and am a bit hesitant about upgrading my filter but want the extra performance. Does anyone know filtration specs or have any experience? Thanks.

my mechanic put in an Elf 10-50 synthetic the other day. Anyone had any experience or heard about Elf oils?

I had a really bad squeak from front of my 32, changed shocks, upper control arm bushes- no change. Turned out to be the front guards squeaking! Tightened screws, all fixed. Expensive lesson- oh well, at least i have nice suspension now!

nulon, slick50 etc oil additives seem a good idea in theory, but i'm very hesitant to add anything to my engine oil. anyone had any personal experience or got technical knowledge concerning these????

everyone seems to have "issues" with F&F. I have heard some suspect things about them but they seem to be reasonably priced. Where do people recommend taking skylines in canberra?

Try a jap importer. They have to pull them off the cars to comply them so you should be able to get one complete with harness cheap. Also, check under your dash. I didn't think that my car had one but it was discovered stuffed up under the left hand side of the steering wheel (turned off but apparently better than most, with warm-up mode etc)...Bonus.

my 32 had probs with the pressure guage too. Apparently its quite common for the sender unit to play up. The sender is just behind the oil filter (towards the firewall. Changed mine for an autometer and new sender just for peace-of-mind.

only been using ultimate for the last couple of fills - cars running great!! we should talk to BP and get some SA discount cards!

I hate people who don't respect or be careful around other peoples cars. the dints on my doors are slowly building up just because f**kwits can't be a bit more careful getting in and out of their cars. Also, the hoyts carpark at woden is terrible. My girlfriends car is just one of many that have been broken into there. Center management just said "Yep, that happens pretty regularly". Was a couple of years ago and has possibly got better (since Burnie court was ripped down and there aren't as many smackies to go "shopping" anymore)

I can't think of the companys name right now, but will post it later. I'm 24, have a R32GTS-t and pay $2000 for full comprehensive, including a free windscreen a year. This policy allows for legal mods and the excess is only $1500. I think they are based in perth.

Just looking for feedback on the quality of various fuels in canberra. I have had running problems with some fill-ups, and have so far found that kambah caltex (vortex gold) seems to be pretty good, and charnwood shell (optimax) has caused some running probs (mostly in mates cars). Any good or bad experiences??
