  1. Vicroads and any insurance company are reliant on redbook. And there is no place that knows what a gt-v type skyline is. my rego papers say gt. unless someone here has a gt-v and its labeled a gt-v?
  2. Hey fellas, going to stick a turbo engine in my skyline soon and would like to try to sell the n/a engine but can't seem to find a proper value for it, i found one for sale for 1100 bucks but not 100% sure. My engine is about 115km's from a R34 GT-V 2000, former courier car from japan so I'd assume, like our taxi's, it's been looked after engine-wise. I've also been running vapour injectors on it so that definitely makes the engine life much better and it wasn't the greatest in fuel economy. Maybe 340-360 max per tank so it was running very rich (get massive pops when driving ) So the engine is very healthy. What's it worth and do many people buy these? :-)
  3. Yep but the plus is, the GT-V tag doesn't exist on redbook ! so the plan is to say to vicoraods that i blew my engine up.. here is the new number... the car technically doesn't exist so re-newing rego... WTF sorry mate this car is a GT-T not a GT like uve listed, you made a mistake :-)
  4. If your a p-plater with future aspirations of getting a turbo then get a gt-v. I scored a gt-v for 15k. Manual with all the turbo bits. engine... maybe 2-2.5 k and 1k labour maybe more. And at the time a allready turbo one was AT LEAST 20k. So in the end of the day I'm saving money. And if not i loose some but have a skyline on my p's and not some shitbox. And besides, if you wanna smack on serious power, your saving money since the engine is out of the car=quicker easier and yeah... engine swapping isn't as expensive as most think. If you get a straight up n/a then no, coz of the breaks and hassle but get a gt-v like me and youll be fine :-)
  5. damn... add implies they are for both... as allways, too good to be true
  6. Love loling at these overpirced power fc's haha. Goodluck mate...
  7. Still for sale? I'm assuming 825 each Also GTTR34, will the rail/seat be any different for a 4-door? -regards.
  8. Um basically im sticking a turbo engine in my GTV. And I've been told to get a return-flow intercooler over a normal intercooler. I don't wish to spend much so I'm aware of how much more a return flow costs however i'm not sure of the advantages. I'm going to have to drill 2 holes irregardless as I got none atm but are return flows structured in any way to be better over a normal one?
  9. Very decent prices here, if you receive any more intercoolers send me a pm and price!
  10. damnit I got the same uras front bar!... and it looks like it fits perfectly, too bad my wallet and that price don't! Goodluck with sale
  11. A sook? Lol, anyway, more like, good luck ripping someone off. Cya.
  12. $1,253.57 was the cheapest on ebay, BRAND new. I'll LOL if you find a moron to sell a second hand one to for anywhere near this stooges price.
  13. NUH! they must be filled with gold and platinum
  14. Jesus, wait around and look in ebay here and there, you can score a brand new one for just over a thousand, i did. Some people are taking clear advantage over how these are no longer in production.
  15. Whoops my mistake, would have thought 5k would be too much of a steal :-) Good luck with the sale mate, my brother is going to make about the same power except he spent over 10k in parts alone so good buy people!
  16. Damnit, if it was a r34 engine it would be sold :-(
  17. dude its about 360 brand new from ebay...
  18. Geez, there seems to be quite a bit of inaccurate information in this thread. Anyone trying to "bulk" up taking all these extra substances really are wasting time, protein is basically all you need, the rest are just a waste of money. Oh and protein has a saturation rate which is undetermined, so 30-40,100,200 per sitting, no real evidence behind it, but on a strict measure of calorie consumption, 300g of protein a day is exceptional within the afternoon/night. Majority of carbs should be consumed in the morning and early afternoon, and then your protein based meals. Ideally you want to deplete your body of glycogen thus eliminating any chance of carbs morphing into fat. This is obviously achieved through heavy weight training, and then you go for your typical 20 minute interval cardio session right after. And GTR-32U, there is no real proof of body adaptation to increased workload, if anything it can detract from it if you understand how BMR works. Unfortunately the exercise/training industry has such an overflow of information (being a multi-billion dollar industry) it has gotten to the point where every theory has a contradictory theory to detract it. But what I know and what I do seems to be working very well so I’ll stick it :-)
  19. is it out of a 2000 model skyline? If so i may be somewhat interested but wow, 3 grand is a strech.
  20. Creatine is excellent however definetly not nessesary. You want to remove fat then some caffiene and l-carnitine is very effective, orovo works considerably well but not for everyone, as everyone has different bodies, different energy needs etc. But the basic elements of a fit body is simply avioding carbs after 12-1 or 2pm MAX, smashing wieghts HARD everyday (obviously seperating muscle groups) removing all the glycogen in your muscles, so when its time to heal and your off doing cardio... the only source of energy your body has to use is fat... and dont forget to limit your cardio sessions to 20-30 min MAX and dont just run at a cosntant speed... this is ineffective as the body learns, adapts and gaints resistance... the trick is to start of walking... 2 min... jog for 1 min... run for 40 sec and sprint your f**king ass off for 20 seconds HARD, rince and repeat= interval cardio FTW.
  21. Well with my calculations it's actually cheaper for me for engine swap. That's because ima get a high quality engine from a GTT for little
