  1. That would be great, hoping for something similar and I would be a happy camper. Do you use yours on the street or a bit of both ? You can have Paul's box for 8 or 10 years and run it in for him while he is looking for a car
  2. I will not be revving it crazy , but going to 4500rpm in a 34GTR is boring on a run in tune and after 1500klms I have had enough and looking forward to being able to do a bit more. Where do you think it is going to choke, 6262 is good for 700hp ? think it should handle 7500rpm ish
  3. I do not live in the City, 3 minutes down the road it is 100, you know that, whoops forgot you come down the ladies road
  4. it is already like that and once tuned should be better, have a guess you pussy Well except it wont go over 4800rpm ATM Mate you have told me how it will be once tuned and I am sure you are right yeah pissed but not my fault, someone made me do it
  5. I do not get stired, it is all just a laugh but learning shit at the same time , all good Ben By the way, who gives a shit how it sounds, if it is going strong at 8000rpm it can sound like farts, I do not give a shit Trust me I always have a laugh at ANYTHING fired back at me BUT the info I have gotten from you blokes has been great, thanks
  6. Paul, these Nitto 3.2 strokers can do 10,000rpm + , they are a well balanced unit, what do you mean they cannot rev because the stoke is too long? They also say they are easy on the cylinders? Maybe I have believed too much sales talk, but have seen heaps of these 3.2s still going hard at 9,000rpm ? My reason to do this build was to have a grunty motor that can rev high without going POP! I think the limiter will be set at 8000rpm ? What do you think it will do on 98 pump at 25psi, from your guess on E85 , I will give you 390awkw on 98, I really hope you are down by 20kw Now go and cook the snags
  7. I think it is it the combination that makes it hard to know what the results will be, plus how the tuner wants to dial in the cams etc? Does not matter that much, it will be a tough build that can be driven hard
  8. Hi Tim, the turbo is a PT6262 CEA and if I boosted the shit out of it, 450kw on E85 should be easy to get. If I want more, cams/turbo/fuel and away you go to 500awkw + but bye bye the street car I want ;( I know i have said some dumb shit on SAU, but honesty I am not chasing numbers, just want a gutsy street car, shit you can buy cars from the showroom for $50k that will trash old Skylines, new age tech . I have spent more than this modifying my R34GTR and not sure what I will get for my $! All going well and the water problem sorted , In 5 days I will post the Dyno results, fark I hope it looks good but drives better Yes boozed again, and a free lunch
  9. If you bust the next one, you will have to go stand in the corner
  10. I would like to get that feed back. I think as I just tossed stuff in and used the bolt ons I already had it would not compare with yours Mick , but good enough for what I will be doing with the car. Down the track if my son wants to do more, he can stick his hand in his pocket, lol Your guess is pretty close to what they think it will be, only 4 days to wait, I am like a little boy and getting excited as the time gets closer As I have never driven a stock R34GTR , I agree, if you are going to add weight in a new model, beef it up to make it better than previous models ???
  11. haha, I think Mafia got it right, no one would be bothered and they hate these types of posts, I thought you blokes would test your build skills and have a stab at it, as I have not found another one the same. For a prize you need participants, one does not make it a competition ,lol . As for me, it is not the number, it is how it is going to drive,, but the graph gives a pretty good indication. When I put my old graph @338awkw up with a new one after changing cams and turbo @ 345awkw, Paul knew the car was a pig to drive on the street and much better to drive in the second graph and only 7awkw difference but a different car to drive. 4pm is too early to be boozed, piss off. I get up at 4 am ish, have lunch at 12noon and on weekends washed down with a nice bottle of red , shit I could have been boozed at 2pm , but i do not drink late in the day(usually) , sleeping pissed = hangover
  12. I was waiting for someone to say this,LOL Would have to get one of you boy racers for that, maybe Paulie will do it, but it has been so long he probably has forgotten how
  13. Cannot make that but I would like to do the next one but I think my sense of humour and shit stiring has pissed too many blokes off on different threads, probably get lynched ,haha
  14. No worries, just a chat. I am not after the magic numbers, seat of the pants feeling is what does it for me, just the feeling of raw power, Mmmm My last car was an Auto, 350GT,couple of turbos and it was fun BUT after a while I missed driving a manual and once I got the R34 I was happy again, well getting happier and soon VERY happy
  15. what you say is spot on, I drive mine just about every day and it starts to loose the thrill BUT I cannot drive it at the speeds you blokes do, just enough to get the rush once a day keeps the coffin away
  16. trouble was Ben, I had never driven a Skyline, I am sure if I had driven one like you stated ,maybe I would not have done this build, unfortunately I didn't and I am such a tenacious little prick, I cannot stop until I get what I want, well think I want , lol All good, I will love it and I drive my R most days on some great roads, so I will get my monies worth
  17. Thats not what I said/meant, with the limiter lifted from 4500rpm ish to 8000 and able to rev, then with a little boost it would drive pretty good as is. But I expect it to even better once tuned
  18. I am sure it will give me what I want and more than I could use top end, but that does not matter. only got a few years to drive it and my Son will have it. I guess I have seen 1000s of posts with blokes wanting to get the last bit of power they can get out of their car , strapping on huge turbos that make massive top end power and blow the fark out of their motor and box, they just rebuild it and do it all over again and I enjoy reading the posts and never once said, fark man why do you want all that top end power, I know why they want it, they love it and it suits what they want out of their car. Thats all I am doing This is for you Ben Response response response response response response response response response and more RESPONSE, just gotta luv that response LOL
  19. haha,Man you keep on complaining about it, it was too late for the supercharged V8, money was spent . Wanting response is not a bad thing, I have tried my best to get what I can out of the car and I am sure it will give me what I want, it is so much better now and I feel sure after the final tune I will be what I want , shit just a bit more boost , take the limiter to 8000rpm and I would be happy as it is If a R34GTR built to 3.2 Lt @400awkw ish cannot beat the standard 3.5GT with twin turbos I will set fire to it , no I wont I it Have a guess
  20. As I said, I do not care and it will be on the Dyno,it was just a thought that some blokes might want to have a crack at it, if not , who gives a Fark, LOL
  21. I have never come across this type of thread, I have seen a few blokes ask for an educated guess on their builds outcome and some blokes answered. But as each build is different I thought it might be interesting when blokes have just had the run in tune to have some blokes have a crack at guessing what the final tune will be when given the mods list. You are like a lot of other blokes on here, you will use 20 to 100 words to crap on people, when you could answer in 10 or just move on to another thread that interests you? I would rather be ignored. Oh and that would not be the first time, haha Thanks Jono
