  1. Thanks mate, looks great! Thanks to Kurt and Paul as well I should be able to get a few stone chips, sand, mud and crap all over it after all this rain, running down the old road today, lol See you blokes later
  2. Hahaha, funny Mick, but my wrinkled arse is up typing this while yours is sound asleep and I have read some other threads I follow already! I think you have driven the car enough to make those statements , just watching the needle head north from 3000rpm is a fair indication that what you said is on the mark. I am looking forward to moving the seat forward and giving it a run as soon as you get here , you two can grab a beer and chill . I bought an ATS triple plate clutch as a back up, might swap it over and sell the Coopermix C-Spec twin before I do damage to it , it has been great ? Bin is empty, beer is cold and Bourbon is aging as I type , look forward to see you mad f*****ers
  3. A little run today , seems to go OK 8374 first run after tune.mp4
  4. I understood what you meant, I do it all the time on my phone with no glasses on, lol
  5. Just running under 3k from to have a look at it and went better from idle in 1st as well, the idle is now 900rpm , not 1200 and hunting I thought it looked pretty tough over 3k , very linear as well.
  6. Short test run today , looks pretty good. As you can see, just starts going at 3K and keeps going 8374 first run after tune.mp4
  7. yes, 25 to 20 on the E65 runs I think. I asked to day for a graph with the psi details ? 20 on the pump I think , maybe 21
  8. I have put this in my thread but it might be of interest to those of you that understand, me ? Just to add something the Tuner said. I would not read into the dyno response figures at low RPM too much as I had to run at a much higher ramp rate that I would like due to the torque splitting playing havoc on the dyno. This is very common for GTR’s on dynos when the power output is very high. The best comparison is to see how long it takes to reach x boost from x boost. Not just RPM. I can literally put the foot down and have boost on demand in your car with this turbo. It is very sharp.

  10. You know whats in it Pete, "make more where ?" The turbo is close to maxed on the build , maybe 25kw ish, so , go BIG TURBO , it is a street car and defeats the purpose ?? It is built for running under 6000rpm . Turning wheels at 1/2 throttle in 2nd under 4000rpm seems tough enough If I wanted 800 or 900 HP I would not have gone 9180 or something more laggy ?? Anyway I am sure it will be great on the street, so
  11. I was in 2 cars with the 8374 , both had better throttle and transient response than mine with the 6266 , I have seen one of the dyno graphs and mine is good in comparison. So if my car drives the equivalent to the other car with my graph, it will be mad So I guess driving it is the real test and do not forget, the Dyno is a tuning tool as there are too many variances to take much notice of any of them, just a pretty picture
  12. The cars 6266 tune was off when it was dropped off and run for that base line test. There were other factors with the tune as well that I do not truly understand. You will know on the weekend how it runs in comparison to how it did when I first picked it up from the original tune, you drove it! As I understand it , I can run the car on 50/50 98 and 85 and not loose much performance, it will still run around 437kw with plenty of grunt
  13. Cheers mate,2 years to the day!, shit , it seems like 10 years, lol There have been some funny posts , both positive and negative but that is what this modding your car is all about, what you want from your car and F everyone else, haha
  14. After a long time and many negative and positive helpful hints and told to buy a V8 by a few , they said I would never be happy with the 34 , but I like the Skyline and just wanted this somewhat heavy 2.6Lt car to have some more torque to make it get going earlier. a few pissed on me about going on about RESPONSE!. I was also told on the first page no one would be bothered to reply or read the thread , but 116 sometimes very boring pages later we are at an end , this will make many happy, but as I said at the getgo, don't like it, don't read it, piss off, many did, lol The top end power has dropped down from the earlier tunes , 1st 475kw, then 461and now 457kw but it is more the car I wanted, response! Micko has pick it up and bringing it up with Paul on the weekend, hope it makes it home in one piece and there goes my liver after a few days with these alcoholics
  15. By the way , that tune is just work in progress, it was not completed on the 98, it was the first info I received , just thought I would toss it in and see where it goes from there, if anything ??
  16. Even now it is looking pretty good against that, Speaking to the boys and they also said it will also drive a LOT differently. I also had a look at another blokes Dyno on a 8374 and my 6266 graph looks like it should have smashed his but his had better throttle and transient response , I had .2Lt more and Vcam ? Here is the 6266 Gen 2 Dyno
  17. 8th week birthday next week, not bad for a turbo swap that went pear shaped fixing old F ups, lol The NUG bit is a bit harsh Looking good mate
  18. The 8374 had a run on the Dyno on Thursday. It was on pump 98 at 20psi , probably going for around 23psi on 98 The tuning should be finished next week. It is better than my last tune with the 6266 on E85 up to 6000rpm but the gears used were different , 5th gear 6266 and 4th gear 8374 , I am not sure what difference it makes, so ? The tune looks good but I think driving it will be the true test of the 8374 First Dyno run Attached NISMO1 98RON 20psi.pdf
  19. Well finally after sorting out many problems they started to tune it up today and have a run on 98 at 20psi , next week they will turn it up a bit and fine tune it. I will put the final tune results next week, here is the Dyno run on 20psi Should look mad on E85 NISMO1 98RON 20psi 2.pdf
