  5. Lately I discovered water in the driver's side of my stag ,first time I dried it ,couple of weeks later water again...used the hose technique and discovered water cming throught the rubber grommet behind the side on the right so after a bit of check decided to try to fix it right . Lifted the car and pulled part of the plastic cover under the wheel arc (3 screws and to clips was enough) and discovered two things,First the person that put the alarm made a hole on the big grommet and second when I installed the boost controller and boost gauge made a hole on the small grommet for the lach release cable ; so arrenged the ofending cables /hose throught the rip in the big grommet tapped all together and applied a generous quantity of Sikaflex(it's a sealer but it's not like silicone when it dries it's like rubber)and with a help of a rubber glove pushed around the cables and into the hole(it would finished better if i used a little bit of turps to made it more smooth) Hope it helps somebody...

  7. Your pod filter is atached to the AFM it's like a black pipe with an square housing with a sticker on the side ,on the side where the filter is atached is a metal grill an around the middle you have the sensor itself CRC contact cleaner is basicaly hysopropilic alcohol in a spray can,you spray it on the sensor and it gets rid of dirt and grease/oil that deposited on it,you just need to spray it do not rub/brush with anything otherwise you may damage the sensor.
  8. +1 some of the oil must gone into the AFM CRC contact cleaner from your closer electronic joint must fix it...

  20. Just to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody ,here in the stagea forum and to thank all the help and opinions through the leaving one... So ,for a year full of mods and lots of more power...CHEARS... (BTW hope somebody can organise a stagea meet in melbourne...)
  21. Today about 4 pm. white S1 with black (CF?) hood passed by way to fountain gate (recon it's the same one saw a couple of years ago in Dandenong)
  22. I HAVE IT !!! i bought it from Darren ,it fited perfect...atm i have it with a catco 3" cat and fujitsubo catback(very quiet),if you have the stock turbo get an electronic boost controller because with the 3" dump and catback turbo spools faster and with manual controller you will have lots of spicking. In this game of getting more power money is the ruler but you can do it step by step..good flowing panel filter/pod and catback should be first in your list ,them you can get a EBC and put it up to 10psi(safe boost with stock turbo),at that moment you will feel you are starting to get real power since stock standard...
  23. Spotted white Stagea S2 turning into Narre warren Nth.rd. just while turning out of it,saw it at last moment so did the good old thumb up,male driver didn't see me but female passenger saw me with "WTF is that bloke doing"look...nice car...

  25. Sorry Shetlander to steal a bit of your post, but it's a good chance to ask... So,you can get 200 awkw on stock injectors and pump?(apart for the issue of the age of the last)What about Z32 AFM,is it necesary ?or the stock could be ok ,let's say up to 220?
