  4. lets say, if we were to put a cusco unbaffled catch can on my rb20, would it do anything....would it seperate air from oil????
  5. i'm wih paulr33, the stock one does the job, change it only if it starts to fail. but if your after that blow off sound.....go for it. Cheers

  7. what are they suppose to be inside????
  8. jolinator, thats one shiney engine bay. Just out of curiosity does it catch much oil???? Do u drain it??? Cheers George
  9. i replaced the two little plates that sit on the crack shaft and protect the timing belt(before and after the crank gear....only because i had such a bad time removing the pulley that i bent them slightly and was making the slightest whirring noise that drove me mad. also apparently hi performance belts make some noise compared to geniune oem ones depending what they're made of. George
  10. cant you just put it between the two arrows in the picture and all would be sweet??? PS. Dont mind the garden hose. Cheers
  11. i think they are laggy, but not as bad as everyone makes out.....with an exhaust, cam gears and hi flow panel filter it made a world of difference......on and off boost, your not gonna take on a rb25 or rb30 and beat it down low but they go well for that they are. my 2cents
  12. saw boro's car last night......seems to pull really well lets wait and see what it does at wsid PS. Dont wear the same heavy shoes mate
  13. good point sumo:) how long do u let ur turbo timer run for???? 1min - 2 min 3min - 5min From what i've seen the past (work)- easiest way to steal a nissan is to break their ignition barrels. Cheers
  14. jim is a good bloke....always treats me well and have never used anyone else. but i've found when he's busy and stressed, hes a a priick, no offence...otherwise good bloke. my 2c worth
  15. a good tubo timer wont work without the handbrake wire connected.....hks type 1. other than that....i have one and barely use it ....abit of a wank!
  16. try running stock boost and see if it happens.....then take from there.....re gap sparkies....check coils.....and so on.
  17. hey mate, i'm after the the plastic bits that cover under the motor/radiator and part of the drivers side wheel arch that comes all the way to the front bar. Do u have these peices? George
  18. dezerteagle......do a search in the for sale section i sold one a couple of months ago with pics and all. Cheers George
  19. Hey chris, sounds like good results. just out of curiosity what support gear you running on your car ??? obviously the pfc, pump, injectors, 2530 and what else??? you find the rb20 responsive with that set up.? George
  20. sounds like your describing the plumback/recirculation system for the blow off valve???
  21. check the codes on the side of them. they both should be denso and have different part number which u can check online
  22. the book is wrong that comes with the hks type 1. dont trust the bloody thing. i'll dig around for the right diagram. George
  23. i had a similar problem on my r32.......nothing to do with oils. mine was my knock sensors. It was like i hit 5000rpm and it was sputtering and stuff......it was all revs no pull. to check em all u gotta do is put ur ecu in diagnostic mode and it will spit out a code.
  24. hawker05, Do a search and u'll find a post about one guy installing the resistor pack and injectors who has a pretty detailed list to follow.......to put it basically, you must cut into the power wire from the ecu to the injector and insert the resistor pack there. if you need a wiring diagram let me know. Once you complete the injectors, install the power fc with battery disconnected, boost controller option switched off.......and change your injector compensation on the pfc and she should be all good to get u to the tune shop driving easily. It is also said that the AP engineering PFC have a more agressive base map. I'm no mechanic and i'm just going off my memory. Cheers George
