yes yes i agree..... it it either the ecu or something to do with the coils im racking my brain here and they most plausable still..... and since the car is ideling like a wrx and is shakeing, whatever the prob is is making the spark f**k up..... also check the grey clips that connect to the coils, when i had my sparks changed the idiot mechanic just connected these clips but didnt clip them in place so they just vibrated loose after a few days and made my wrx sound...... should have done it myself the first time but i thought he knew what he was doing..... lol now i know how to do it for next time

yeah it is very strange but it sounds right...... if it is the bearing then don't get them to do it again or demand it free if it looks old...... otherwise dont know what else it could be without looking at it...

well these guys arnt much help lol.... to answer anyone else who has a question like mine in the future there should be 2 wires coloured the same as each other on the standard car wiring harness and one coloured another colour...... on the 02 sensor the colours may not match,,,,, but the will always (should always) have 2 wires coloured the same and one coloured different. Connect the 1 odd coloured wire from the 02 sensor to the odd one out in the original harness. then it doesnt matter about the other 2, just make sure both of the left over wires from the 02 sensor are connected to the other 2 wires of the original harnes. make sure they dont touch obviously

usually the thrust bearing would make a cricket sound when the clutch isn't being pushed before it got this bad....... did you notice a sound of a cricket while in neutral at the traffic lights or while warming up the car???? I had a similar prob in my r33 gtst, changed the clutch and all that and it went away....

doesnt sound right to me,,,,, i got a r33 gtst series 2 with a gtr front end..... i lost an indicator and when i got a new one to connect i had 2 wires and the indicator had 2 slots.....????? both my wires were the same so i assumed it didnt matter which way they were connected....

also does the engine shake or sound like a wrx when idle????? if so then it might also be running rich and have a spark problem that may be hard to detect,,,,,

im no expert but try resetting the ecu...... its cheap and quick and you'll have a result in a few mins to reset ecu unhook the negative battery cable and turn the lights on and press the brake for a minute to drain all the power stored in the ecu so it will loose all current memory stored in it. (dont forget to turn off lights before connecting battery up)

i dont know if its the same for a rb26 or a 25 but when i had a leak it slowed my idle down to the point it would occasionally stall at roundabouts....

this sounds excellent..... ive been looking online and in an old gregorys 13th edition 1995 street directory to see what i could find and once upon a time i recon amaroo park would have been nice and local, only 10min drive from my place lol how about we ask a bunnings for use of their car park after they close on a sunday night lol,,,,, also can we make this new event as soon as possible, and if this new place suits us, is there a rough estimate of what month this will be held? maby its too soon to ask but im just keen to go

what venue is it and what type of event would it be????? it would be allot better if the event was held in sydney but for some reason there isn't many places here to hold an event like this.......... when i was a kid there used to be a place called amaroo park in annangrove but now its houses..... cant we close the street off for a sunday and hold an event here???? lol

im still shitty and will be untill i finnish a few beers of tonight....... also this had a track and a pan, i havent seen anything else like this except for the previous texi and this would have been the ultimate beginners introduction to get to know my car better...... i'll be looking forward to other events....
