11:45, county drive at cherrybrook, concreter in a concrete truck yelled out his window that his "mates is better" as i drove by the other way... don't know what hes on about because my car is in near mint condition inside and out and mechanically???? lol i'm just curious what hes mate has anyway, too bad the concreter didn't say his was better, only that his mates is better..... also I have a mate with a Ferrari, should I scream that out my window aswell???? for the record I laughed untill I got home, all in good fun

is that matts r33 with the blue or black front bar? also those tyres have seen better days but they still good, drive it till they pop

a friend gave me some cleaner from MEguires to clean the headlights with, I thought my lights were in pretty good condition before but now they look brand new except there is a tiny bit of something on the inside of one but its not really noticeable. I wanted to oven my headlights thinking the prob was on the inside, but the prob was mainly the outside. The cleaner cost $20 and out of 100mL we did 6 head lights and probably used about 6 mL, the tube will last about 100ish cars lol thats 10cents per headlight lol and the car looks amazing now. I do recomend this before risk melting your very very expensive headlights

nope nope i very VERY strongly dissagree. I don't know where you been looking at but a 2003 350z cost about $75k brand new drive away right? 70 if you want the basic one.... have a look around now and a 2003 350z can be picked up from $26k drive away from a few places includeing the net and the trading post in australia. I'm looking at an old HPI magazine atmo and in 2003 the average price for a manual r34 gtt was $35-40k, it's now 5 years on for both cars and the average sale price of a gtt is alittle over $20k with the cheapest being about $16k for a very battered one. In that 5 year span I would have ratherd lost $15-20K with a gtt rather than around about $40k in 5 years. The 350z will do similar to a 300z in the same time frame excludeing the convertible model which will hold it's value alittle better. If we look at the r33gtst the ones selling 5 years ago for 20K (series 2's) are still around $12-16K i think thats pretty good for 5 years. (don't look at the shit box thrashed ones that some lebbo has killed and thrown stolen parts into it and can afford to sell it for $8k) they all loose money but everyone knows a private import holds value allot better because the importers keep the prices up. we all know just about every import has dodgey k's on them, your kidding yourself if you think australian deliverd cars are any better???? ive seen cars being driven around often and only do 3000km a year.... being serviced them selves, winding the clock back 8000km ever 10000km. And if its a digital tacho its even easier to wind them back. you could take the 350z to any nissan dealer but you will endup owning a complete new car with the money you would have spent taking a 350z to nissan and there are allot better qualified mechanics that look after skylines as a specialty that see skylines every day in there life..... a nissan mechanic will see a 350 once a week if there lucky and more people know skylines than 350z, allot of r34 parts are interchangeable with silvias, VL commodores, EL falcons, Nissan maximas. the 350z is completely different and the only real parts alternative is a r35 skyline or your left testicle from nissan lol the only thing your right is an r34 will attract more attention from the cops, and there are more hoon steryotypes with a skyline, but if your not a wank on the public roads this isn't an issue. the 350z is better for certain things but depends what you want it for....

Adams bloody 4 door looks great while in a drift, i do recon the 4 doors look better than the 2 doors when drifting, makes the angle look bigger

auto has alittle more torque than a manual from around 500-2500 rpm, after that the manual has more torque, standard auto will seem to accelerate from a stop/ start quicker due to the low range torque (gives you the g force acceleration), manual is more versatile, less probs, save on fuel, easier to sell, easier to thrash lol I'd choose manual unless your usuing it as a daily city drive.....

its abit of a price difference, ive driven both and they both completely different, r34 is way more practical, and at the moment i see the 350z as a midlife crisis car and abit of a chicks car, look around and most people driving them are midlife crises people and older women..... not to say the 350z isnt an awesome car.... but most people expect to see a stereotype in them (well me anyway). An r34 has character, 350z looks like a girls skyline lol. Also r34 is cheaper, more parts available, if you need to carry more than 2 people it will do it easy and an r34 will loose allot less value than a 350z will.... if i had the money i'd go the new GTR and for the same price as a 350z i'd go a gtr R34 hands down, no questions asked

i had something similar when i mounted a gutter a while ago coz of some stupid old man driver..... anyway i had it lifted and just pent it back away from the drive shaft, although mine only mad that ugly sound when reversing or shifting down gears....

also dan when i was looking for a line about a year ago i came across one that was alot better than the gtv up there..... black, custom $2k system, 18inch mags, col overs, brembo brakes r34 gt auto and it was $14990 back then so if i were you i wudnt pay 21k for it.... i'd go the gtt up there, although i recon you'll get sick of the auto but 15k is a good price for the gtt, out of those 2 i'd take the turbo one if your allowed to drive it.... anyway i chose my r33 gtst over a non turbo r34 and i havent looked back,,,,, but i would like a black r34 gt-t manual in the future
