  1. an exhaust is a tube of pipe from the engine and turbo to the end of the tail of the car...... brands dont matter aslong as they fit under there properly, different brands make different sounds because of defferent metals and density used, but at the eend of the day a 3 inch from the turbo back is still going to be 3 inch if it was a home made exhaust (allot of work to build), a chinese exhaust (most of the jap brands are chinese made anyway now), or jap made........ main defference is the price and make sure you put a high flowed cat at least or all the money you spent on whatever exhaust you get will be wasted... after saying this i have a 3.5 inch fujitsubo cat back (came with the car from jap), put an x force high flow cat (not the best but just as good as alot of more expensive ones) and a JJR dump/ front pipe from just jap in sydney.... can't fault this set up at all.... also if your not confident your self get a good exhaust shop to fit it for you, usually what fails an exhaust is somebody who didnt install it properly
  2. you didnt search very hard did you???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? how bout searching this site you douche lol http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...amp;pid=2239593
  3. 2 more sleeps....
  4. 3 more sleeps to dyno day....... can't wait to see what your cars are like also anyone comming from the sutho shire who wants to cruise to ingleburn together?????
  5. well i snapped up 4 tix for good vibes,,,,, wohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if any of my friends pulls out i'll be sure to post them up here first (without increasing the price) for fellow SAU NSW members only
  6. your milage is terrible, and i doubt its got anything to do with the exhaust..... i have a full turbo back exhaust with high flow cat, pod filter, city driving, 50kg sound system and i tend to get on boost quite a bit and i get 300km minimum and my guage still shows alittle over a quater tank left, most i got it was to 450km and it nearly got to the empty line, even at the empty line you should still get another 50km untill the fuel light comes on.... change the oil, spark plugs, oil filter, wheel alighnment and most important replace the 02 sensor.... i did this and i went from 250-300km per tank to 400km +++++ easy without having to drive like a pussy... also try different fuels, i find i get more out of caltex vortex 98 and mobil 8000 fuels... hope this helps you and anyone else in an r33 gtst series 1 or 2 that doesnt get atleast 400km/ tank
  7. do a search, somebody has already done it, mine are fairly fine inside so i havent botherd doing it or rsearching it but i have read about it on SAU before....
  8. i dunno about a gtr screamer but an rb25det screamer is $100 from just jap..... why cant you get a pair of these for $400, get an angle grinder and a welder and make your own screamer for $400 for a set for both turbos on your gtr???? it'll probably take you a good hour to make it up, just plan how your going to do it before you start cutting lol http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=276&page=1
  9. i notice you went to rta castle hill, hope i can see the final product (assuming your a hills boy and may be lucky enough to see this thing driving around soon)
  10. if your gunna pay a massive amount of money for an 02 sensor you might aswell wait for the genuwine nissan r33 one to come in.... other than that i used a $70 EL falcon 02 sensor and it works great, just had to snip and tie the wires together then electrical tape them up..... now saving about 25% on my fuel bill..... if your going to have to cut the wires anyway you might as well go for the cheapest one you can get.... end of the day an 02 sensor is an 02 sensor,,,, only switches on and off.... nothing complicated about it, aslong as it has 3 wires and the thread is the same as your dump pipe thread....
  11. spotted a white r32 at the bp station on pennant hills road carlingford near m2 at abot 12:20 tonight
  12. throw it in the oven and open the lights..... only way i know of..... allot of hassel.....
  13. clean throttle body, change sparks, clean afm, check that there are no leaks in the engine pipes and 02 sensors..... has to be these..... its just general maintenance issues.... same solution for gtst
  14. there must be an error somewhere in your measurements, either the hks or the stock is out
  15. the red s is the seroies one badge....
  16. spotted a r32 on friday night at about 7:30ish following me very agressively through sutherland on old princes highway and he then turned off on to toronto parade,,,,, very very loud bov....
  17. hahahah, ask him for some reinburstment for the new lights lol
  18. i dunno but wherever the most restriction is determines the rest of the exhaust flow,,,,, say your whole exhaust is 3 inch but your front pipe is 2 inch,,,,, really your flow is limmited to 2 inch..... just do the whole exahust...... a dump pipe by itself will still cost you about $140 ish or something and you can finnish off the dump and the front pipes for $200 and make a bigger difference..... don't forget the cat
  19. i agree +1..... i don't get where the rich kid comment came from lol..... this is an example of somebody on their p's that possibly should be allowed to drive a HPI,,,,, or hes just a good bullshitter lol... also to reply to a comment said earlier; if the law says you can't drive it, then you shouldn't drive it, i dont know why somebody would do something like that.... obviously some punk from auburn or bankstown would defy the law just because they can..... hope they get caught and are forced to sell the cars so i can buy a cheap track car lol (half the car is probably stolen anyway, get them for that aswell) also i understand the laws are there for a reason but his law doesn't seem to be working... it hasn't made much difference, there has to be a better way like the High Performance lisence idea or something....
  20. i dont really think the money issue is anything,,,,, if i have learnt anything lately its that 18-25 year olds have allot more money to spend than the older age groups that are riddled with credit, mortgage repayments and children....... i recon the best time to buy a skyline is these ages, then as things tighten up and you get a house, the car becomes a track car and you get yourself a little run around car or better yet a company car..... get whatever car you legally can, just don't kill yourself before you can get a turbo skyline lol
  21. last night at the cross on darlinghurst road saw some wanker throw a glass bottle on a white r33 gtst, i still can't understand why the 2 guys in the car didn't deck him..... i was waiting for an opportunity to borrow the car and swap some parts while you guys were fighting lol jkz.... also today spotted a bluey grey r33 with SAU sticker on the driver side quater..... i was stealth
  22. i just got a new phone, it was between the n95, n96 and the 6210 navigator in the end, i took the 6210, only downfall is less memory (uses micro sd cards so memory isnt really an issue), and only 3.2 megapixel camera instead of 5mp....... other than that its better, all the same features + its smaller and lighter than the n95 and 96 and comes with the navigation free for 6 months + unlimmited world maps.... you have to pay for allthe n series navigatoion..... anyway i got the 6210, found it was best for me....
  23. you should be able to hear that the idle isn't constant and if you look really closely i think it will still drop..... mabey you havent noticed it yet
  24. will you swap for something of interest????? a sub or a dirt bike or something????
  25. a cop is always on duty, don't listen to people when they say they can't bust you, also if its some idiot good samaratin he cant do anything about it, even with video evidence... if hes a cop and he remebers to report it and write a statement then your f**ked, but i guess you could always say it wasn't you or your car, he might have been mistaken or if you were doing someting really stupid while driving (you tend to getting yourself in trouble every day either on the road or on the forum) the copper might make it personal especially since your on p's... either way it looks like you should either slow down on your own accord or get suspended to make you learn, thats how i learnt to slow down lol and if you had a turbo you would have lost him anyway and wouldnt have had a problem of him getting your number plate lol
