They produce that much power that many things can and do go wrong. How many supercars do you see driving around in a month???? almost none, how many people see late model ferraries and porsches on the side of the road or on the back of a towy???? allot more than you see them driving i can assure you that.... a super car is meant to be thrashed but abuse will kill it.... and yes the launch control is the most damaging feature on this car and i rememebr reading 10 launch controlls can f**k it up completely, no one in a conventional gearbox and clutch can launch like these things do time and time agian, hell normal gearboxes can snap in minutes of heavy driving and there is nowhere near asmuch force as there is in the gtr.... still at the gtr's price range nissan should take this very serious and rectify any faults there may be..... i remebr watching a documentary on the guy that is ferrari's official car tester in italy...... he went through a rari gear box in less than 60 seconds before the car wouldnt move forward at all, he had to take it back to the pits in reverse, the only difference with the rari and a gtr is people who buy the italian red machine are buying it in general for show of status, not for thrashing...... people buy the gtr for thrashing and performance, not really for status and looks found the link i was talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ux1KLSo-Mcc...feature=related

its on the dump pipes that come of the turbo's, you have a gtrso you have 2 dumps with 2 02 sensors anyway you should change these for better fuel economy, mine was $70 and in a month i have saved about $50 in fuel, i filled up today with $51 where as i'd usually fill up with $70-75 for the same distance...... and the fuel prices have been fairly constant at $1.50-$1.60 for 98 octane fuel.... because there a bitch to take off i just changed the whole dump pipe for a larger one instead of trying to unbolt the old rusty one. and if you want the idle probs to go away this will help to get rid of it,,,, as i said before, it did the trick in my car, similar engine

ive used 95 octane once and instantly felt the difference, never went back to 95, always use 98 and it is literally only a couple of dollars extra for the whole tank to be on 98 instead of 95 so ive always used the 98 since..... i doubt one tank of 95 will do any damage at all, and they are set to run at 95 minimum, not 98 but nissan recommends 98 or higher, but 95 is acceptable..... but up to you if you wanna risk saving a total of $100 ish in fuel costs only to have to rebuild an engine..... i'm a tight ass so i choose to spend the extra $100 a year on decent fuel

install it yourself, i did it with no idea what i was doing, i changed the cat aswell..... i got mine from just jap http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=276&page=1 but thats the front and dump pipe combined, cost under $200 if your going to do the dump pipe makesure the rest of the exhaust is already done, the cat back, the cat and the front pipe

another thing..... who compares a v8 commo to a xr6 turbo falcon????? like why??? dont they know falcon has the v8 aswell???? personally id rather the xr6 turbo but too bad i hate aussi built cars

it wasn't as bad as you guys make it out to be, yes they are all annoying hosts and the ideas were alittle shit but give it time, they need feedback to improve before they are axed..... you never know it could turn out ok

for the r34 i have no idea, maby come on a SAU cruise and sit in with someone with an r34, the 350z there is places that rent them out for weekends and stuff, http://www.abcintegra.com.au/350z-sports-car-rental.shtml i can only find them in queensland, melbourne, adelaide and perth online for rent. there used to be one at the mobil petrol station on victoria road at north parramatta that was for rent there. I'm sure if you look harder you'll find it.

02 sensors, clean afm, change spark plugs to platnium or iridiums,change oil, depending what rpm you idle at you might have to raise it alittle..... i had same prob in rb25det, eventually it will conk out or nearly conk out..... i did all of this and the prob went away, but for me i did the 02 sensor last and that completed the solution..... hope this helps, im pretty sure it will

nope i dissagree, most cars do what the nissan does, off the top of my head ford transit van does it, all nissans to my knowledge do it, early 90's magnas do it (not sure of the newer ones) kia rios and sportage do it, excel did it, rolls royce silver spirit did it, 300e mercedes does it..... the only car that i have noticed that doidnt do it is my gf's new astra coupe, it has some electronic thing that turns the indicator off only when the car has been going straight for a few car lengths, its annoying at first but i think its a good idea. makes you indicate like a granny (if they would decide to indicate) but its simple enough to adjust it and put it to your specs

you mean shell v power???? r33's are recommended for 95 ron or higher, no it doesn't matter if you mix them, but you don't get the full benefit of 98 ron fuel.... also if your worried about the 95 ron jsut don't give our car a hard time

hatches arn't that bad, look at the current astra coupe, they also come in a turbo version that would rival my gtst in a straight line..... the VW R32 is very sexy aswell and even the mazda 3 MPS looks pretty decent and hammers very hard, the new rex and the forester are going to kill their sports enthusiast side of sales..... really would you buy a rex sti at the moment or a VW R32, same power, similar price, both awd, vw looks so much hotter....... personally i'll stay with skylines but still.....

very interesting read guilt toy, i filled up boost 98 at the other united station this morning after leaving the city, but before i got there i saw the E85 for sale at the other united and i was seriously wandering who uses this fuel..... my questions have just been answerd. I think this is a good thing to do especially since oil prices are rediculously high and most of our oil is comming from the same nations that wish we were dead. 100% of the ethanol is from australia so we keep our money in the australian economy. Not to mention ethanol is safer, cheaper and cleaner to use and make. also when can we see your car in sydney, i'd like to have a squiz if i could??? cheers

I have always liked Subaru's Rex's, foresters, liberties..... i think they are very nice looking cars...... but i have to say that the new rex and the forester look like they were designed by the same people that designed daihatsu's and the honda CRV..... They look awful. I have tried to let the new rex grow on me but its not working, its been half a year now and they still look ugly to me. what are your views???

if you lead you would probably be the first car on the ferry so it wouldnt have sunk too much, i remeber me, gimpy and a white r33 were closer to the back of the pack and we all got on fine, my front bar is about 13-15cm of clearance and i didn't scrape, throw some planks of wood in the boot incase... because 11 cm is not much clearance at all also i had an extra person in the car that might have made it alittle lower
