  1. I sold my 300zx to a guy in the hunter, 4B is almost the only one listed in newcastle for tuning the Nistune. I gave the guy their contact details, they tuned his car and he was very happy with it. By all accounts he was pretty thorough, but i have had no first hand experience with them.
  2. That listing doesnt cover the type 4 board, which the OP has. Matt will fit and supply the board. Board is 260, fitting is 60 **EDIT** Type 4 board, same seller/tuner http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISTUNE-TYPE-3-4-IN...=item2c56c7df1c
  3. Dont know, it wouldnt come up with the vin number, so i put the model number in, then it asked for the vin, put that in and thats what came up.
  4. He was being confrontational because he has NO idea. Trying to hide his ignorance.
  5. Not listed with RTA as repairable write off, according to Shannons assesor. Got cleaned up by a truck on a roundabout, hit the rear quarter and spun me into a guard rail. I drove the car around for the 2 weeks it took for the Insurance company to decide to write it off. Have since bought a Stagea so this has to go. Some of the things it has: NISTUNE ECU. JJR coils. GTR injectors Z32 AFM Adjustable cam gears (2) Hybrid (i think) FMIC with custom piping Obligatory boost gauge. Turbosmart dual stage boost controller. GTR plumb back BOV R34 Turbo, yes the one with the op6 housing. Heavy duty clutch (cant remember brand) Adjustable Camber AND caster arms (camber arms had been fitted just 5 k's before i was hit). Most suspension bushes have been replaced with nolathane. All 4 rear cradle bushes have been replaced Slotted rotors on the front. Chrome wheels as shown in pics, 2 front tyres are nearly brand new (cheapies), rears have about 70% left (also Cheapies). Probably more just cant think of it at the moment. Pics of when she wasn't scarred. THE DAMAGE Pics of parts It will be running within the next couple of days. i am waiting on a new gasket for the dump pipe. Not Entirely sure whats its worth, but seeing as i have to put a price down i'll list it for 4 grand and see where it goes from there (swapped it over from the stagea) Open to reasonable offers and will not split parts.
  6. I have the same car, fitted with nistune. I recently put the walbro gss342 in mine, fitted straight in. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=180533428704 They are tricky boards to fit, i had mine done locally but it needs to be done by an expert with the right gear. A cheaper option may be to send your ecu directly to matt had get him to fit it for you, and then get them to tune it.
  7. Probably a problem with the touchscreen. May be some pressure on the screen where the volume down position is.
  8. Its probably richer, most WB 02 sensors can only read to 10 or there abouts, explains the flat line
  9. You may be right, maybe its checking the BRAKEAWAY torque that cant be checked.
  10. They always will with a viscous LSD. Cant check them the convential way of checking normal clutch plate or cone type LSD's.
  11. Id be inclined to go the recon route, you know what you are getting then. Any clues as to what caused your initial failure?
  12. What settings did you arrive at, duty, gain and spike?
  13. I think your doing it wrong, the calcs your doing are if your going backwards, to the 370's. I think the lag time for the nismo 555's is around .7 to .8 of a sec. *edit*. Seems as if im way off base and your not after the actual lag/void time. Too used to nistune
  14. There has to be an error in the print out. With that much + caster on the left and so little on the right it would be undriveable. You would probably find your wheel hitting the rear of the wheel arch on the left side and the front of the wheel arch on the right.
  15. am i lining it up correctly, does that say -16.96 degrees left and +3.02 Degrees right for caster?
  16. Most tuners SHOULD copy fuel maps from the main maps to the knock maps, and then pull some timing across the board AND make the knock map a little richer in the knock maps. You can run without them, just a resister in the line to ground to stop switchuing maps and logging fault codes, but no safety backup then. Price is ridiculous, just get one from a wrecked car.
  17. 22060-56S10 I supplied the RB26 part number as it states in his user details that its a 260rs Car(s): s1 260rs stagea
  18. Its the same one for all rb20, and rb 25's. Seems rb26's are different Send me your vin no and ill get the correct number
  19. one will do, hold on i'll get the number for you.
  20. Just get one from a wreckers. they are a bitch to get at with engine in, and if the connections fails it will log fault codes AND run off the knock maps (both fuel and timing).
