SLY-25T replied to Stealthynsa's topic in Forced Induction Performance
basically get some 3 inch (i think) steel pipe, cut original intake and put the pipe in where its closing with the rubber on either end. EDIT ----> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...-P-t173019.html -

my rear tyres were rooted from camber wear until i bought the camber arms. havent had any problems with wear on the front though. sorry cant help ya there mate. if you do lower and have all the necessary adjustable parts, they should be able to make it fine. all i can think of is tyre clearance with rear guards if its lowered. if they straighten the camber, you may need to roll the guards.
-
feels alot better now mate. sadly i dont have any specs. i adjusted the camber myself when i installed them. only had a bit of negative on them but the boys said it was pretty far out. same with the front castor. lol. they asked me if i wanted any specific settings and i just said no, make it good for everyday. so im guessing 0-1 degree camber out back and the rest pretty true. just a guess though. lol

SLY-25T replied to MUZT3K's topic in Forced Induction Performance
mine did it on the odd occasion too. had a manual boost controller and think something got stuck in the pressure outlet nipple. sounded like someone was dying under my bonnet. lol. this was on ~13psi. its gone now that i have electronic boost controller set on 13/14. it has a pressure outlet nipple too but its not makin the sound. -

for a pair of front cusco castor rods last time i saw they were around the 450+ mark. so i got both of mine for pretty much the price of 1 cusco one. im not richy rich. im a student. i dont thrash the shit out of my car or drive it on tracks so theres no real reason for it to snap.

nah i just said to give it a road alignment. so i think everythin is pretty straight. for them to align front and rear with adjustable rear camber and front castor, $120. all done with laser alignment.

SLY-25T replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
theres constantly an RDA slotted disc group buy going and theres a group buy thing for QFM pads too. unsure of where to get the braided lines though. i plan to eventually go down this road when funds allow -

Want New Brakes (including Calipers) For R33 Gts-t.
SLY-25T replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
lol true that Alan. I was simply speaking from experience in seeing pics of lines still with standard calipers, just upgraded dics pads and lines. But, as you asked, it all depends on the purpose of them. -

SLY-25T replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
i havent seen too many people upgrade the calipers unless its being used for track days and stuff. heard that the skyline standard calipers are pretty sufficient at doing their job. people mainly change discs and pads, braided lines and new fluid. these look pretty good http://www.shiftperformance.com.au/product...cts_name=Nashin 330mm Upgrade S15/R33&category_name=Brake Upgrades come with braided lines, bigger discs and the mounting brackets for standard caliper. but as shane said, porsche would be good or you can use these http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/descrip...?partno=PWR9023
