  1. to remove the rear seat, at the bottom of the seat, there shd be, wait let me rephrase. There WILL be 2 bolts on the bottom of the bench rear seat. Remove these. Then at the end of the seat try to seperate the bench from the backrest. there she be a metal bar htere...just stick yr hand in and pull out that side first. and then once the back of the seat is out frm behind the backrest, just YANK will all yr might and the seat shall come out. there is a clasp. thats why. then the back rest...on the left and right side, there shd be screw each with a metal bar there holding the backrest of the seat. unscrew it. and then push the backrest upwards to unhook it. and it shall come off. force it if u might. nothing will break all are metal. and then the rear shelf. there shd be some bolts holding the compliance installed baby seat anchor points.. remove those as in some cars ive seen, those are also holding the parcel shelf altho thats not the case in mine. from there, just pull the parcel shelf upwards and towards you as there are clips. similar to those holding your door panel in place. watch out for e side pillars tho. hope this is of some help!

  3. i see...yea either ways, a car bought and sold early entails lost money... it would prob cost more eventually to get the saame kinda power out...but i figure going down the street im taking might be the most convenient way im not abt to go out and find a buyer. get a good price...convince some fktard thats interested in buying my car and yet wants to squeeze the best damn price outta me and then go and squeeze someone elsee to buy his car. just to much hassle IMO. anyways, good luck w yr sale. yr car looked prettie nice to me when we were in carousel.
  4. no piston coolers but is there any modifications we can make to it to make sure the pistons dont overheat etc? my mechanic quoted me arnd 8k yesterday for a full job.. forged internals, conrods, gt30 turbo and etc etc...expects arnd 300 at the rw.. or with forged internals, i dont need the piston coolers?
  5. one of my friends actually pumped the normal green unleaded one at BP one night by mistake while i ran in to take a piss. i normally pump BP ultimate... and the car was feeling noticeably sluggish after that...till the next tank of fuel. been driving my NA for abt 6 - 8 mnths now and i want more power...after looking and looking, finally my mechanic gave me an estimate of around 8k give or take abit for 300 or more if i dare to boost it up at the wheels with forged internals, GT30 turbo and etc etc... if yr really yearning for speed, most ppl will tell u to SELL yr car and buy a turbo. the fkin payout figure for the finance is so damn big that you dont even get back yr deposit so how r ya supposed to sell yr car? heh... so i decided to add a T to the end of GTS. 8k seems reasonable i might think so if yr interested, i acn find out what parts are used and how much is charged for what. laters
  6. pat_au: im in perth and im paying 2500 with HBF for full comp since may this yr. still doin fine and maybe u might have heard wrong cause if im not mistaken, they only dont insure under 21's for turbo's. N/a's whether import or not shd be fine. Especially a skyline seeing the parts are floating everywhere at bloody low prices and shd nethin happen, theyd pick up the parts for much less than getting em for a brand new Maxima or X-trail. anyways, if not, fire and theft might be a consideration... driving a skyline makes the worry of not having insurance worth it.. hahahah imho that is
  7. doxximus, u can actually sell em interstate. there are pet courier services that you can look up the yellow pages that organize the dog to go interstate for u. from the looks of yr pictures, the dogs look beeeauutiful and cute so im sure e buyer has nuthin to worry abt... now if only i wasnt renting...heh

  9. nv thought i would want a turbo car non turbo cause of insurance but love for skyline shape. now yearning for the speed. insurance shdnt be an issue ive got that worked out n still less than me buying a turbo car and insuring it

Guys, i did a search and none of these came up..i guess...heh In my never ending quest for more GO, ive got some questions abt turbocharging... 1) in regards to the RB25DE and RB25DET, what are the differences? Am told that the difference with the RB25DE is that the cams have higher lift. What is this? And that the pistons are different. Thats it. If u change the pistons, then it basically is fine then cause the Compression will go down if u change to turbo pistons or is there more than that i shd be aware of? 2) What else in the car differs? besides brakes and gearbox? 3) what kinda power is the Non-turbo gearbox good for? 4) presumably, i slap in a r33 GTS-t ecu, std turbo and manifold. And then an o2 sensor(dont know why but someone told me i shd) and a GTS-t AFM(or are they already the same in the non turbo) i shd be able to run maybe 0.3 bar? with my present 10.1 compression ratio? 5) presumably i buy the GTS-t ecu ahead of all the parts above and put it in, will my car still be able to run with the GTS-t maps? thanks...and nheh...my knowledge base is limited and based on mainly what i hear around...nth expert wise so...if ne of the above are wrong, i would be more than happy if u wud correct me...thats why i posted... hehehehe thanks in advance guys

    mine is an Exedy brass button...cost me 800 to put in.. good for arnd 450hp according to Evo R which is where i did it drives well...after u get used to it...a tad bit heavier than the stocko but like i said, works well after u get used to it...and bites like a fkin piranha too

  14. i was thinkin of doing this to go BMW style or something. ALL ORANGE. but nv had tthe guts to go tamper with it what abt the dash board buttons such as aircon control unit the lights and etc possible to make those orange too? tahnksss

  16. its not necessarily also only yr age dude. im 18. was 18 when i bought the car and will be 19 in 1 mnths time. im paying 2600 with HBF(Hospital Benefit Fund) for FULL comprehensive insurance. its also yr neighbourhood etc etc.

  20. hmm.... sounds good.... i would love to go with it but the prob is that i am unable to get a good price from the mechanics down here. if it isnt too much trouble, maybe you could detail how much u pay for labour and the parts etc etc to make up slightly under 10k... thanks alot and sorry big time for the trouble.. will buy ya a beer or 2 or more if u ever come down to the west end
