looks good mate, blood orange will really set it off. My old Ute was painted the same colour, awesome stuff.
-
It's not gonna hurt, but there's only a handful of builds underway (that I know of anyway) best wait till we hear from some of our more active members in this section. I think its a good idea all the same. Cheers Dan

Thanks guys, Only thing I've done is put the twin tips on, been so busy at the new house. Off to Darwin tomorrow for a much deserved holiday, then we move house when we get back. Hopefully the new stove/toilet/hot water/carpet is all done before we get back.
-
wow, it's been so long...... Been flat out the last couple of weeks working at the new house/getting ready to move. Packed up all the Datto bits last night, still so much to do, but at least it sounds like a Datsun now.

Check the original post on AE86DC. Sounds like pipe dream, too much money to make it happen. You can get 15x8 and 15x10's if they'll work for ya Cheers Dan

harvo replied to Silent Shadow's topic in Classics (1953-1988)
I was wondering why they weren't on the car already then I noticed they were on your bed, you know there's a name for that condition? "mechaphilia" You need help brother, just kidding mate, there very nice -
more pics of the beast, got my paint already (tropicana green) but it's to cold to paint now I did get the engine bay painted tho, flat black FTW.... and yes the bonnets black too, had the black already so used it as a practice run. shiny but needs a bit more work, maybe next year just needs a supercharger now
-
On the Datto if it'll fit, have to get the tape measure out and check first Make or modify a pulley system, and finish off an adaptor for a 310 Holley. Maybe a cam grind too. Just doing it for something to do, waiting for cheap parts to come up and making use of the gear at work that's available to me. I wright it off as being "essential for my apprenticeship" hahah Cheers Dan.
-
That's worked out kind of well for me. Now my parts money can go towards an SC14 supercharger to replace my crappy AC unit
-
Bummer, must be rusty. What are the seals between the 2 side windows like? it is a coupe isn't it?
-
Poor bastard All good mate, would make your life a bit easier if it went complete and getting salvaged instead of wrecked is good to I suppose. Cheers Dan
-
Sorry mate, only need the chrome trims off of the D/S guard/bonnet. Whats the gauge cluster like, everything work/decent condition? The plastic trim that houses the aerial on drivers side a pillar? Condition of the grill/headlight surrounds? Fuel cap and key? Price for packaged and posted to Lithgow, NSW, 2790 thanks. Cheers Dan
-
If stripping I need the chrome trims from the bonnet and drivers side guard. possibly need other stuff as well, maybe? Bummer, thought about moving? Cheers Dan

My understanding was it's measured from the inside edge to mounting surface of the rim. So removing 8mm would bring the wheel in -8? but I'm no expert just going off what I've been reading. Available in any stud pattern too. Cheers Dan
-
This is what they will *hopefully* look like These are a -13 offset in 15x9. This batch will probably be +-0 machinable to -8 offset. Dose anyone have an educated guestimate for fitment on the Skylines? Cheers Dan
-
Have you checked all of your earth connections/terminals are tight and clean. I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the earth lead had come loose inside the terminal where it bolts to the chassis. Cheers Dan
-
Hahaha, classic Spigot bearing! what the f@#k's a spigot bearing? I'm sure your not the first to do that one.
-
Hey hey, Some guys are trying to organise a group buy for these rims, thought I'd chuck it up here if any one's keen. AE86-DC superlights Cheers Dan
-
Haha, I couldn't justify the cost as there's nothing wrong with mine. but a new set of rims, that's a different story
-
Nice, to bad I cant read Japanese
-
Hi, As the title states I'm after a boss kit to suit an old saas wheel for the Skyline. Cheers Dan
-
Nice rims man (and car ) Make life easy mate and go the Hilux/Landcruiser calipers. I wouldn't use anything off a Holden especially brakes There's a pair of recoed Hilux calipers on eBay at the moment, but $350's a bit steep. I got a pair for $50 in good nick but your right they are heavy bastards. How did you go straightening out your rims?
