    Had my fuel pump and Regulator installed at godzilla motorsports. Did an excellent job , no problems at all. Cars running excellent so next step is nistune and that starts tomorow at EFI performance on the goldcoast. HKS fuel pump Turbosmart TREG
  2. ahh awesome yeh thats looks like how mine sits, ill take some photos tomorow ive jsut finished respraying the AC unti so looks like i will hafto do it all again but ohh well its well worth it...
  3. I've noticed the drop in boost your talking about. Mine seems to happen around 4500 to 5000rpm? i think. I will go for a squirt today. Im having a tomei fuel pump and turbosmart fuel reg installed tuesday and hopefully nistune done wednesday or thursday so I will post up dyno graphs. May be helpfully to have a less modded skyline with graphs to see if theres anything else that may be the cause of this.
  4. So Ive picked up a set of brembo drilled rotors off an r33 GTR and was wondering if they will fit without any form of modification onto my r34 gtt. Will I need to buy aftermarket calipers or will the standard brake calipers work/fit the drilled rotors??
  5. So ive resprayed the interior plastic in my car but I got a couple of problems. When I got the car it was missing the plastic surrounds that fill up the gaps between the cd player etc and the rest of the dash... so thats that plastic bit that goes around your cd player. Second of all the controls for my air con as i understand are ment to be underneath the air con vents. My dash goes, aircon vents, dvd player and then air con controls. I removed all this and when i went to put the air con controls back underneath the air con vents (so swap it all back around) i realised they dont line up properly, the controls are slightly too small and the harness that holds everything together, the bolt holes dont line up. Someone please help this has me stumped. I would go to an import wreckers and just buy the GTR dash but there doesnt seem to be a japanese wreckers near me. Cheers sammy
  6. cheers mate, gave them a call and all looks good, gotta give them another call on monday but looks like its getting done next week cant wait! excited to see what sort of power the car is going to make with these mods, only going to be set to around 250 rwkw but should be able to make a bit more with the 3071.
  7. got teh turbo sorted out godzilla re going to put on a gt3071 for me, but im tossing and turning about getting this emanage ultimate installed cause for a piggy back its extremely expensive for the fit and tune and unforunetly gozilla dont do NISTUNES anyone know a workshop on brisbane southside that does the nistunes??? From what I've read its pritty much the way to go for the power levels im seeking and its an extremely affordable upgrade. Just need a local tuner who can do a good job of it.
  8. need to get a good quality garret 3071 or hks 25/35 turbo in good condition, no shaft play etc...
  9. is there a straight garrett equivilent for the hks gt2535?? been looking all over the garrett website but cant find anything
  10. 10psi is a decent amount for the stock turbo but the stock turbo is capabale of 13psi with not too many worries try to keep it around 13 or a bit lower. You will need something done with your standard ecu thought to reach that without boost cut etc. Mine with pritty much the same mods with apexi avcr is on 9 atm but ims till runing standard computer, hopefully not for too lnog though
  11. Anyone know any companies in brisbane around carindale/capalaba type areas that stock gt2535 pro s turbos and 550cc injectors? Anywhere around those type or areas should be fine as long as it isnt a mission to get to.

So here is whats happening at the moment and what I want to achieve with my r34 GTT My car has the basic modifications done to get the ball rolling -Kakimoto 3" exhaust fromt he turbo with hi flow cat -Apexi AVCR boost controller -Apexi Pod -Hybrid FMIC -Splitfire coilpacks What i want to do is get to 230 rwkws. Now I have lined up a Tomei Fuel pump and a Fuel Regulator and my next step is with the computer. I want to try to use a stand alone ECU but as most of you all would know theres problems doing this on the 34 because of the shift logic built into the standard ECU. Ive been quoted by Mark at Godzilla that he will be able to do something with a vipec computer for me by running the standard ECU for the shift logic then the vipec for everything else so basicly a stand alone system but a bit of custom work done with the harness etc. I would like to find out how safe this is going to be for my gearbox, I have been told and also read severeal different opinions that could push me towards doing it or towards a piggy back like an emanage. Is there any first hand experiance that anyone has with the vipec style setup on the auto gearboxes? are theere any other alternatives? Second thing is the auto gear box and installing a quick shift style setup which would make the ECU situation easy fixed. But what do these setups cost? and how economical are they for a daily driver? . As for turbos i got a fair idea what im after but any good alternatives i would strongly consider as once again I have herd lots of different opinions. Currently though im heading towards a gt2535. But how much screwing around would be involved with the garret turbo off the xr6's the gt35r's? as I may be able to get my hands on quite a good quality one for a very reasonable price. Mainly what I'm after is not so much huge numbers on the dyno but a very quick responsive ride. The car will be a street car with maybe a few 1/4 mile runs and tracks days. My hurdle atm is computer and not making a stupid decision thats gana waste 3k and set back other mods.
  14. Im trying to get my hands on the cd/radio surroundings for a series 1 r34. Its jsut that pliece of plastic that fills up all the gaps, please need help here...
  15. Yeh I mean I've considered alot of different options recently computer wise. And had some fairly good conversations with mark down at godzilla performance. As much as I want to take a cheap option out and go with a piggy back or nistune or something (not that its a bad option) Im extremely interested in seeing how this will work out. Plus im just about to invest in a stage 2 shift kit with the manual valve body installed, so i dare say the standard computer wont be piggybacking the shift logic for long. second of all im sick of my god damn avcr self learning shit. Much prefer the vipec setup with the single missile switch for low and high boost. I may be wrong but the vipec sounds like a far better option for now and down the track than running an emanage that will cost me an upfront 2g anyways. Apparently the emanage dont come with straight plug ins for the ER34 needs to have a custom fit done with the harness.
  16. standard ECU but ima bout to have a vipec installed. There running the standard ecu for the gearbox and the vipec as a stand alone for the engine etc, so im guesing im still gana have the problem... could always have the quick shift setup installed but just looks like a big hastle to drive for a daily driver.
  17. Yeh I find my car performs far better when im not using the sequential gear box. Im interested in just getting a stand alone ecu and getting rid of the sequential all together, if it can be done that is, without too much screwing around. I wonder if I just get a stand alone ECU like a vipec and plug straight in, if it will be fine but just unable to use the sequential. Anyone know???
  18. My r34 gtt auto seems to have moments of unreal power and then moments latter the car feels guttless. car has basics like exhaust. fmic, apexi avcr and apexi pod. The cars been looked over by godzilla motorsports and gave gave the thumbs up for the engine in perfect working order. Just feels like the car has been very tempremental recently. I've also been notified that it may be caused by the avcr due it being a self learning EBC. Any other thoughts on what it may be would be greatly appreciated.

    Oh yeh, as for the Fuel Regulator I believe its Turbosmart TREG. Godzilla just got new stock in and recommended it as quite a good fuel regulator.

    Ah ok very cool. Well Im having an emanage ultimate installed at teh same time so I think I will just have the pump installed by godzilla at the same time. But from what I was told I just gathered there was alot more screwing around involved with the walbaro as appose to the tomei but apparently not... as for the regulator. its for future modifications, Id rather have it installed when im doing the Fuel pump and computer than later on when im having the turbo and injectors installed.

    So im getting a fuel pump and regulator installed on my car. Just need to decide which one im getting, I've had an extensive chat with Mark at godzilla motorsports and have been told that the bosch fuel pumps are quite noisy, the walbaros have a bit of screwing around install wise to get them to fit and that in his opinion the smart way to go would be with a Tomei. There a straight bolt on, little noise but are quite pricey. Anyone got any other suggestions, or any knowledge from personal experiance that would help? Cars a R34 GTT btw. Cheers Sammy
