  1. haha my misses cant stand to be in a fast car let alone around a group of them.
  2. So I have come to the conclusion that I want to get the perfect suspension setup for my 34GTT. What Im after is a setup that will make the car sit and feel like a track car but still with day to day driveability as its my daily driver atm. Want the stance to be tough with nice amount of camber, not illegally low (please note I live in QLD 100mm is legal ride height. I already have slotted rotors, 18" wheels, but I will be upgrading to a larger real wheel to fit wider tyres as currently im running on 235/40/18's. So yeh pritty much after nice camber, nice ride height, very much setup like a track car. I have done as much research as possible but havent been able to find any relevant information on the net.   3. Sound like a good idea... need to organise something in the next few weeks like a meet at EFI for a few drinks and bbq, als give some people chan e to have a look over the new dyno area and/or dyno if its in by then.
  4. Hey guys ust getting back now the mechanics been over the car the problem was turbo shaft play, aside from that engine is 100% running perfectly. YAY! Now to see some dyno charts the next few days
  5. Just interested in seeing how many skyline owners are on the southside of brisbane. Wouldnt mind meeting up with a few people for drinks and a few laughs and car talk or a cruise or two.
  6. Unsure wether your capable of getting someone to do nistune in london, or if any mechanics have the facilities to tune them. But computer would be an idea, if you can get your hands on a nistune or power FC even better. FMIC, Some form of upgraded intake or pod, injectors, airflow meter and boost controller. Theres lots of different ways you can go, although im far from being as mechanicly minded as others on this site, I was at the same stageas yourself not too long ago. Theresa company over here that does rb25 Hi flows for around 900 Australian dollars and to my knowledge they ship overseas name of the company is hypergear. I started with exhaust, FMIC, boost controller, pod, and computer.

First Dyno: 185rwkw with: Nistune VG30 chip HKS Fuel Pump Turbosmart Fuel Reg 3" Turbo back Exhaust Apexi AVCR Hybrid FMIC Standard Turbo on 13 psi Apexi Pod Car is getting Hi Flow turbo, z32 Air flow meter, 550cc injectors, front facing plenum, high mount with runners so as to not effect response. Should be done by the end of this week I will post up dyno graphs as soon as I got em in my hands.
  9. ah ye hi understand that but I trust the tuner I used as he learnt from matt spry. Yeh I have a nistune vg30 chip.
  10. So ive found out it could be compressor surge, non the less, get new highflow turbo, plenum, airflow meter and injectors done this week, so we will see waht happens. I highly doubt its detonation as this car is so well looked after, gets a FULL services every 5,000 km's. The engine has only done jsut over 100,000 or so Km's and has had the timing belt and everything done. Never gets touched by anyone bar my mechanic who i trust with my car more than I trust myself. The car is never thrashed, infact its very unlikely the cars see the likes of that 13psi more than 4 times since it was last tuned. But the car will be tested and dynod this week and ill post up dyno charts and any problems we encounter in the process.

  12. it could be, but it only happens when the i start to boost over 10psi, doesnt happen if i launch from a stand still position.
  13. so this is really starting to concern me as i would have thought, if this weird vibration im getting above 10psi was the turbo i would have expected it to die by now... i probably need to get a recording of it, but its difficult as it only happens when the car is moving, if i park the car and rev the engine it doesnt happen :S Its like a vibration sound could be closely related to the sound of a helicopters blades starting to pick up speed.

  15. yeh that was me, dam woman came over and asked me for a smoke, so i gave her one, then she asked for another one straight after... said no. LOL wasnt filling up on fuel, if you see me at that servo its buying my morning ice break... stuffs so addictive taste godo though.
  16. I believe you caught a tailor my friend. Good catch good fighting fish, was it jumping out of the water and trashing about like crazy when you were realing it in? These fisha re great fighting fish, i assume you were either using a heavy mono trace or wire trace as these bite straight through standard line 90% of the time.

Did mine quite awhile ago, unfortunetly I have the premium addition setup so there are a few gaps here and there... but here it is, was done in almost a silver blue colour for something a bit different. Not a great photo but you get the idea. Just need to get the standard AC controls and surround and repeat the process and it will look alot cleaner.
  18. swap for 1989 Rodeo Space Cab ute, shaved door handles and boot, central locking, custom purple paint, pioneer head deck, exhaust, 2.6ltr 6cyl. Automatic.
  19. Standard r34 GTT wing $150 buckeroonies in perfect condition, comes with nuts ready to bolt on. Wing is black, dont have any pics but you all know what they look like. set of 4 standard r34 wheels with tyres, atleast 50% tread on tyres in average condition, wheels are not buckled or anything like that, bit of gutter rash, $500 for all four with tyres. Gold Nissan S badge for front of the car, $50

  21. i agree, yeh the injectors are overkill but i got a deal on custom fuel rail with those injectors, made it cheaper all round. As for the cams i meant the cam gears, going for more response rather than power, so were looking at the gt35r for a reason but you could be right in saying that a smalelr turbo would be the way to go. Guess jsut hafto see how it all pans out.
  22. Well currently on my skyline im seeking 300rwkw's, build begining end of april. Current mods are Hybride FMIC Apexi AVCR 3" Turbo back Kakimoto exhaust HKS Fuel Pump Turbosmart Fuel Regulator Apexi Pod Nistune ECU chip And the mods im going to be doing in the near future to try and reach that 300kw mark are: Plenum + 80mm Throttle body Cams gt35r turbo High mount 6boost manifold 800cc injectors + Fuel Rail MVbody and gearbox rebuild some form of stall kit even after all of this i may only be looking at like 275 to 280rwkw's depending on how the standard internals go and the gearbox, may need to look at a slightly smaller turbo. I believe if your going to be pushing over that 250rwkw's mark id be looking at doing something with your gearbox.
