Yeah i too would be looking at the trading post / internet forums, like 09ONE_32 said, most yards will only have cosmetic mods done to the cars or basic exhaust/filter mods.... Street machines is located just south of brisbane (about 5-10mins out of town along Ipswich Rd.) Not far from the Gabba.

yeah when i bought my car i found out a week later that my clutch was slipping in those gears, when i hit boost in 4th and 5th. It eventually got worse and started doing it in 3rd on boost. I got a heavy duty daiken excedy clutch for about $420 plus $200 to fix it. so for under $700 u should be out of trouble. I recommend a daiken heavy duty, im happy with it for the sort of power i am running (near stock)

There is also a place at Kingston (near kingston park raceway) called MTM automotive. He has just started up about 6 months ago, specialising in mainly skyline & supra/soarer parts....

I even have the paint codes White - QM1 Red - AR1 Black - KH3 Blue - BN6 What looks like Graphite - KN6 & Silver - KR4 I dunno' what the actual Nissan names are for these colours, cause I can't read Japanese I don't have the paint info for the SI range

Here is a pic of the rims I bought about a month ago. I bought them second hand (not a mark on them) from another 32 owner. They are 17" x 7.5" Koya K-55 machined chrome, not sure where they are made (i think japan). They also come in chrome chrome. The studs around the outside are gold colour. I thought that it might clash with the gun grey, buy they ended up looking sweet. I have always wanted white 5 or 6 spoke racing rims tho, i think they look hot with grey. Makaveli - what colour is ur 32?

DRUZILLA, I drove ur 32 about a month before i bought mine. I was in the process of importing thru somebody who stuffed me around endlessly, and trying to get my money back off of him at the time. That was the first and only GTS4 i have driven. Have you had any problems with it? Did u manage to knock the price down abit? He didnt have it well presented to sell when i looked at it on that sat avo. I must admit it is looking the goods now (that wing on the back was ugly), and it sounds like u are going to town on it with mods too I have different mags on mine to what is in the avator

I think if i worked on cars for a living i would get sick of working on them, and therefore wanna drive a shitter because i wouldnt wanna work on it. I enjoy the weekends where i can have a bit of a tinker with the car and thats about it for me.... and the money factor too of the industry that i am in... ohhh and Chaos - i dont like ur signature dood :looney:

just got my rust cut out of the back wheel arch in my car last week. Got it done at Martins Collision repairs in Browns Plains. Did a great job on it, resprayed the whole quarter panel for me, matched it well, and sprayed over a couple of big scratches that were further up the panel...

Damn!!! i am so paranoid about hitting a kerb with my new rims. Mine are similar design to that - 5 spoke with bolts around the outside, i think they would crumble the same :S how fast were you going when u hit the kerb??

I bought my GTST for $12 500, with 101 000 on the clock. It came with an alarm/imobiliser, stereo, boost controller, boost gauge, its manual. I think i have found a bargain. I have had no real worries with it since i bought it in may. If you know exactly what you are looking for i would go private, you can crack some good deals.

Mine is completely stock besides the K&N panel filter, turbo timer, and 2 stage boost controller. I bought it with the controller & timer on it. I have kept up with 32s only having like a cat back system running pretty much equivalent boost & same with 33s, but i have been hosed by a few running decent exhausts & being well tuned. It is running around 11psi. I think the previous owner should have focused on the exhaust first. Early next year i am getting a custom 3" turbo back zorst, along with heaps more goodies....

Yeah dont you have a TD06 on a custom manifold with a ext gate? And that mines computer, and ur front mount might be buggered too, and ur injectors & pump, and those cams? What about those xtant woofers with the 50 000Watt amps too?? Yeah i would take it to ur trusty mechanic and see what the go is, good luck

Knore - I got the bushes put in my Moorooka Nissan (i know a mechanic there) - he got a trade price on em. I am pretty sure they do fittings tho....

yeah i really love cruising with other skylines especially 32s. I went out about 2 weeks ago started at kangaroo point maccas, there were about 25 cars, about 8 were skylines, was all good.... We really need to find a new meeting spot other than milton maccas, or roma st parklands. Has westend riverside been going lately?? I know they have changed the road down towards the milk factory, it has been made into a bikeway.

I am also thinking of buying a set in the new year and weighing up the idea of buying new or used. what sort of price would be reasonable for a set of used TEINs ?? I think i can get a set for around $1800 new from greenline.jp

I got my castor rod bushes replaced earlier this year. The first week i had the car i needed to replace em. I ended up going for Fulcrum bushes i think they were about $200. hope that helps
