yea shaun i took out the main bolts like you had said and just lifted the coils straight out made it alot easier i was just amazed to see the quality of them a few that have been posted online look like shit but then again half you guys dont have the black centre cap on so god knows what gets down into your spark plug wells

true sin well when my knee is all good i will be back out... not sure how long i cant drive for but it will be at least 2 weeks

well it actually took me more like an 45minutes to an hour due to me being very slow and having never done it before. I reckon if i had to do it again i would have it down to about 30 -40 minutes

i figured this was the place to post it plus no one had in a while but i decided to change my spark plugs today... note it took alot longer than i thought it would which was annoying... anyways pulled the plugs out and they actually didnt look to bad... still i replaced them but have since done some research and found them to be a double platinum plugs first i have ever heard but they seemed to go alright for me ... oh also my coils look like brand new as well which makes me happy no sign of fraying of cracking at all WOOT http://www.autolite.com/products/doublePlatinum.php

i have not seen any results yet but i would really like to see if accidents have come down any significant number since the introduction of all these speed cameras... if anything i reckon in some cases accidents would go up with people shitting themselfs everytime they see one.

hmm well i thought my SAFC II was screwed as it has been "tuned" very suspect though and during the cold its around 40 but then any sort of hot day even if i am not boosting its at like 90 - 100 which i know is way to high. I also never hear pinging. I am taking it to get checked later on. If its recording that result i would be a little worried however you can tell pretty easy if it was a once off. On the SAFC II you cant set the knock sensor as a default one to show. Just have a passenger with you and then nail it. They should be able to tell you when it hits the high numbers

yea as i said from what i have always been told its better to have them consistant across the board than 5 high and one really low

dont get me wrong as i said all cars as they get older will drop and maybe the tests were not conducted correctly. I guess ultimatly as long as they are consistant across the board you dont have alot to worry about
