    Does a certain mentioned organisation (no offense) actually run events? or just promote them, then cancel due to lack of numbers? Ive never been to a MM event, but in recent times ive seen them advertised and never get off the ground due to either running to close to another event or lack of entries?

    S1-3 came out with 13B in the US. S3 12A Turbo in Japan. But didn't Benson say something about a particular model that you could run? 13BT?

    Blaise a mate of mine down here runs one in IP, I think he bought it for $25k, but has spent a truck load on it to get to where it is and two race meetings in a row he has had to do this I reckon your right though, build a car from scratch and then you know what you have

    Been for sale for a LONG time, I reckon you could squeeze him. But yeh the Stuttgart Tax hurts! Seeing the costs when things goes wrong on a 944 is bad enough, a turbo would be 10x worse!

    Yeh and those restricted speed zones are a joke, if your a km over you get a penalty, but if you go a few km's slower you lose seconds to other competitors if you don't get it spot on. Not exactly racing!

    Lolz I think the big negative for us eastern states besides the above mentioned is its a big cost to get over there just for one 3 day event and there is nothing else to do. Sure if you are coming from WA you can do THC in november and arrange to leave your car somewhere in vic/tas and there is another 3/4 tarmac rallies you can do in the space of 5 months.

    Man it really shows just how slow all the other teams are when Button can pit for a new wing and do the entire race with a damaged rear end plate and schumi last to 5th. Seriously who would want to drive for any of these teams?

    I read a lot if fiction in Tarmac mag.... I struggle to find a reason to buy it these days, most of the detail is 5 months old already.

    Troy, just out of interest a mate of mine did a rally down here over the weekend (in an R30 skyline!), he borrowed my rad cam and also savman's. Mine lasted all day on the one battery (and only used about half power), plus didn't give any problems whatsoever. Yet savman's battery didn't last even half as long, unit played up etc etc Dar I say there might be an issue with some units??

    Congratulations must go to Guesty on a great result at the inaugural 500 Classic Rally on the weekend. Guesty was the co-driver for Peter "beaka" Barrett in a Toyota Sprinter. They finished a strong 3rd after 7 stages of which the majority were in the dark! Obviously you tamed the beast since Beaka hasn't rallied in over 10 years and from what I heard he drives likes "Triple Caution through dip, hold it flat!"
