Or buy an engine management system that doesn't use the airflow meter. Or move the airflow meter so it's closer to the throttle body than the blow off valve..

New Turbo = Car Runs Like Crap
Jet 20 replied to gL3nJaMiN88's topic in Forced Induction Performance
found this graph, not sure how accurate it is? -
cos it vents to atmosphere not back into the air intake. the afm is reading air that is no longer there after it blows off so your mixtures get screwed up causing backfire.
-
microtech are not epa friendly at all. pollution plus. with no afm and no oxy sensor. pretty much a full race computer.
-
Silicone up the bottom of the coils. the tape may not be doing the job.

yeah good job with the build mate, goos to see people sticking with their pride and joy instead of just selling it off to get something already done. I must say tho, not a fan of the wheels. sorry. -
The exhaust joint told me, you pay like 3 times as much for stainless and it only last not even twice as long.. (not sure just what they tell me) I just had a full 3 inch mild steel mandrel bent exhaust made and fully ceramic coated with two stainless magna flow mufflers for $1350

Cryogenic Intake Cooling Systems
Jet 20 replied to Proximity Motorsport's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Another theory, think how hot your intercooler is, then you spray a freezing cold co2 burst onto it. the aluminium will shrink really fast in the area where the outlet jets are. how long until the cooler starts to crack?? just a thought. -
So true. no friends in business

most of the heat on the compressor side comes from compressing the air. this causes alot of heat. touch the output line off a normal air compressor in your sehd. gets very hot. the turbo does the same thing..

Why My Non-turbo R33 Lsd Wont Rip Up?
Jet 20 replied to Luckieee's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/...uct_Code=861100 try one of these. there are plenty of different types. autobarn sells some. -
Was just about to say that intake temps before the cooler are very hot. the more boost you make the hotter it gets. 50 degrees is not going to cut it..

i do my own tuning now also, until i do a big turbo + fuel system upgrade any how, then i'l get it tuned on the dyno again.
-
yeah true, but it's very hard to find a good mechanic. that wont rip your ass off in the performance game. i got done big time and it wont happen again.

It's very hard to find good help these days. They all talk the talk, but fck it up when they are doing the job. Thats why i do everything myself now.
-
yes you can, if you get one made up. turn the boost down to standard and drive the car off boost as much as possible until you get it cleared. no cooler obviously will just increase your intake temperature. could cause pinging if you get up it with no cooler so drive it easy. VL turbo's came out with no cooler...

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html Hey mate, Try this post. It doesn't tell you about what part does what but it gives good upgrade options and power results for those upgrades. some even give prices. goodluck.

can you just drill the hole in the exhaust bigger, try not to damage the thread for the sensor though. or file it out.
