  1. well no verdict needed the GT-R R33 would smash it.. even the standard WRX ate it for breakfast the power to weight ratio speak for itself as well as the AWD ATTESSA would smash that ugly dog at the track no comments from the article needed......................
  2. im not 100% sure if the R33 has a calibration... but didnt you say you have the Nismo ones? i do know that the old R31's had the calibration
  3. the funny thing is, Hondas dont make turbo cars...but make bikes... where as Toyotas and nissans do but they dont manufacture bikes. well 95 model Skyline.... that wouldve been a VN or VP commodore.. it looked like Dogs balls compared to the likes of a Supra or GT-R which were made at the same Era.
  4. yeah thats what i was thinking i had an article on the M-spec model on the HPI magazine but i must of thrown it out. it probably said on there... yeah 300kg is a bit way too much
  5. not alot has been mentioned about weight between the models... there isnt much difference at all between........ Series 1 Skyline R34 GT-R: 1540kg Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec: 1560kg Series 2 Skyline R34 GT-R: 1540kg Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II: 1560kg however, There are specs on the M-spec, M-spec NUR & V-spec 2 NUR have a fair difference in weight im not sure if this is a misprint or true weight, but this is whats been stated. Skyline R34 GT-R M-spec: 1800kg Skyline R34 GT-R M-spec NUR: 1800kg Skyline R34 GT-R V-spec II NUR: 1780kg not sure how much the N1 weighs though
  6. apparently he owns a H2 Hummer as well....parked outside Nth Sydney
  7. "yeah but to some people its more important..."
  8. it looks ok i suppose... but there are better wheels out there for the car
  9. this HID kit your enquiring about is actually pretty good.. its made in china & generic... but its pretty reliable for what it is.. thats the one i fit on the Yaris
  10. +1 on everything thats said from the previous posters!
  11. gotta love the way you answer questions! tops!
  12. its also called a Harmonic balancer its designed to reduce reduce tortional vibration, Replacing: When?... depending on the Condition... When the Drivebelt gets replaced, mechanic should check the condition of the pulley before wacking a new one back on. (just like other belts, the Tensioners are recommended to be replaced with it also) why?... When the Pulley is worn, the most common symptoms is rattling and squeeling... which means the bearings are f**ked, and sometimes, being worn..it can cause the belt to jump a tooth... and in extreme cases...can cause crankshaft failure or loss of power of the electrical systems...light dimming & radio switching off. as well as vibrations which causes Failure/cracks in the crankshafts...
  13. it depends.... stock OEM parts from japan are very expensive... sometimes at the same price you could buy some aftermarket branded products... do you know how much the OEM stock Nissan R33 GT-R stereo costs from nissan?! 800$ brand new AUD with that price you could buy the latest MP3 player from the leading brands for less than half its price. im sure alot of the Genuine Nissan R34 GT-R parts are very dear at Brand new as well...
  14. thats cause with your helmet and mask on like that, you look like a nazi anyway
  15. The stock R32 GT-R Rims look neat... so does the R33 GT-R. i think that if he really liked the all round...R34 GT-R look he may as well save up and buy the actual car in the end... instead of sticking parts on the R33 GTS-t but getting better rims than the existing ones is a different story. with that sort of money, he'd probably be able to get something nicer and more suitable to the car
  16. yeah ive had identical problem to yours.... when its missing cylinders it sounds like a WRX...then goes away.... usually check your spark plugs... then your ignition leads... then the ignition module... i would do those first then you move on to other things
  17. well ive never had problems in any of the wog clubz... what i meant was its just the environment is a bit wack... but some people like it. "Meei an may ashian broudah..."!!!! lol yeah probably cabramatta would be the place for you go there on a saturday before lunch time.... its crowded... like some sort of chinatown there.. the food is good though
  18. R34 GT-R wheels on an R33 GTS-T? i dont think it will suit.... ive seen GT-R wheels on R32 and it looked kinda cheesy i think the GT-R R33 wheels would look much better on the GTS-T
  19. whats wrong with HID conversion? i think they are a good upgrade... but thats up to you... some people dont care about flashy things on the car
  20. thought so, looks small from the outside... ive never set foot in there... ive been to Roxy's once though ...and that was enough to last a whole life time.
  21. true, new cars are designed to obsorb impact to minimise injury to the driver. but its the front end of the ford hitting the rear end of a ute. the front end has soft sheet metal panels, giving it a more damaged look. but the rear end of a ute Chassis... is NOT designed to crumble........ so theres nothing wrong with the damaged affect of the nissan. Kinda like hitting the rear end of a small truck..... they arent designed to crumble like the front
  22. i see what you mean. Skylines dont require the use of the mechanical type HID bulb because it has Highbeam bulbs separate. But im guessing it can shorten the life of the ballast of the HID bulb due to over use if you keep activating it. im not 100% sure... because a halogen bulb or convenstional light globes, the filament actually get busted when you turn on and off... just like the bulbs in the house go when you keep turning the switch on and off. but some bulbs filaments are designed to be On/Off... like indicators... LEDs are suitable for this too.
  23. rofl... a mate of mine whom lives at Nth Sydney...has never been to Parra at night before.. and for his first time he went to the Club, "Albions". and got harrased by some "fully sick broz".. whom said "broz, like...do yu kno who i am couz?!...i cun get guyz out here in minutz! i swear, youz dun look like your from da area...so ill give youz a chance couz!" lol yeah dont go there dude.... cabramatta? lol "All da Ashian broudaz. cruiz dow Oxforr street...in da Honda Civic" by the way what background are you Midnite34?? sydney is kinda divided in areas of different nationalities...
  24. the watever-the-f**k is a late model 04 - 08' Ford F100 pick up truck (ute) gee it really did get messed up...... you wouldve thought the big tough looking thing wouldve survived a bit better
