  1. reliability, obvsiously the newer car is less likely to have faults. depends on the Km's... id personally choose the R34 over the 33... looks wise... the 34 is definately neater.
  2. shit aye... as a car maker, Toyota is GOD! thats just australia...should see the sales worldwide.
  3. doesnt mean what you see is what is really out there... and besides.... Toyota is the worlds largest manufacturer exceeding GM all together Toyota = 9,497,754 million GM = 9,349,818 and dont forget GM consists of: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, GM Daewoo, Holden, Hummer, Opel, Pontiac, Saab, Saturn, Vauxhall and Wuling
  4. true... had a Camira motor 1.8l well at the end of the day the most reliable holden has got to be the Rodeo... with the Isuzu motor...
  5. Answer: HIllbilly Redneck Bogans????! LOL Well thats the thing tezza... you see alot on you tube... some imports do actually f**k v8s up the arse... and what do the REdneck inbreds have to say? "its crap...its got 100 turbos on it with 1000psi dude!~!" they really do get jelous... i see alot more tuned cars actually f**king up thier domestics.. even in the New Fast and Furious movie... the scene where Paul walker drives past in his R34 GT-R..... a HIllbilly ocker bogan says to him... "Muscle wins over imports ...eevverrryyy Taiiimee........" mate........look at his cow boy hat.....and that will tell you the conclusion of the story.... id bet they put that scene in to stereotype Rednecks... probably because the Director is actually an asian dude...
  6. exactly... I recall speaking to Dennis... the owner of the workshop "Newtown Service centre"... Greek Dude.. they love thier V8s..... him and his son... he said..." i swear i hate toyotas" i was thinking in my head..(well f**k....your the one who owns a Toyota Landcruiser) and he said "thats cause i NEVER get any toyotas or make money out of them...cause they never break down!!!" thats why steve irwin prefers toyota!!!!!!!
  7. well i know the R33 GTS got rated against N/A supra...... all round package the supra was the top pick...
  8. FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily my mother had a 1988 Nissan Pulsar.....that thing had never broken down.....
  9. Driftking 06... what he means by that is.... There are 2 types of R32 Globes.......... one uses the H1 in the projector style and the other Uses H3c.... the most common one is the H3c....... dont use the H3..... its slightly different you gotta solder shit etc to fit....... i wouldnt bother any HID kit that can suit either H1 or H3c (depending on which one you got) will fit your car but will need to wire it up and mount the Ballast at a suitable spot.
  10. Well some of the good drift cars are very powerful... and very fast as well..
  11. well put it this way dude.......my opinion...those are most likely Ocker, Bogan, Redneck, inbred, narrowminded hillbilly v8 lovers for you.... ask any mechanic.... they will all tell you Toyotas are one of the most reliable cars ever built... they are renowed for it. in my opinion...holdens are shit..... so are fords... not because i dont prefer the cars...its what i hear and see from the quality of the cars. a mate of mine had the VY Clusport R8.... from brand new...to 3 year period he had it...he went to the dealer 7 times! for numerous faults under warranty. another friend of mine has a VE V6 UTE... brand spanker... he turned the ignition and couldnt get the key in... called holden road side assistance... the mechanic bashed a screw driver in and told him to head straight to holden otherwise he wont be able to turn it on again & get the ignition barrel replaced under warranty... like wtf is that for a new car. i know this can happen to any car manufacturer...but like i said..... jap cars are renowned for reliablility...even more reliable than euro cars... toyotas especially. I recall knowing someone who bought a 550,00km hilux...that hasnt been serviced for donkeys years...it was petrol ...but the oil came out black like black tar/gunk...the previous owner never rememberd when he changed oil..... it still was running strong. read this article on top gear about the 80's model toyota Hilux. never had problem with nissan... previously the toyota supra i owned for 4 years... not 1 thing went wrong with it.. so if anyone says jap is crap... tell em they are a inbred ocker......
  12. well since you change them often should give the NGK - Iridium IX Evoloution plugs a go and keep us posted...
  13. good work! but becareful with the sealant im not a big fan of the sillicone paste... id prefer having a brand new gasket every time i replace something like this... because you gotta becareful no lose bits go into the actual device...it can clog up things but nice post...gives people a good idea of the waterpumps in the RB series
  14. check out the Top secret prototype pic of R35 and convertible R35
  15. wrong cause the R35 GT-R is not just amazingly fast..........its a real Time-son of rajab for owning the track...
  16. i personally wouldnt do it... these things can vibrate alot with the belt on the pulley at high speeds... but if you wana experiment it...let us know
  17. and where did i state to pump 55psi into his skyline?! i told him to check the pressure at the tag on the side of the door trim... it should have the exact pressure and size of the tires....
  18. well the AAC being dirty messes up the signal to the ECU... and can cause irregular idle... most people have cleaned this valve and found the car running alot better. give it a try and keep us posted its better you eliminate this, rather than keeping it there in the back of your head with a question mark...
  19. nah not really....the suspension isnt hardened sports suspension....its a Work-mate 2.7L
  20. next, check/dismantle the AAC valve http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a28301- there is a DIY thread on here in how to dismantle and clean it
  21. i personally would do the right thing just to be on the safe side.... not worth going through the consequences. you could always buy it in a few years time when it is alot cheaper
  22. i would check the Air flow meter and did you check the Throttle position sensor? usually they are the 2 main culprits to this kind of stalling issue.... AAC valve can also cause issues..... check vaccume hoses as well...make sure there are no leaks or cracks. try eliminate things as you go
  23. well personally i prefer higher... higher pressures give slightly better fuel economy than one being lacking pressure. Beleive me, ive worked at 3 car dealership service workshops during my apprentice ship years ago.. and that was like the universal one size fits all tale. like i said, it depeneds on the tyre and the load the tyres on my Toyota Hilux i pump it to 55Psi cause anything lower than that, it looks flat...
  24. well, you havent told us how much you are looking to spend i would personally stick to the same gearbox for the same model car... not a big fan of conversions... have you tried the wreckers??? there may be something at an appropriate price for you
  25. lol no its not Tire is American english Tyre is Uk & Australia Just like Grey is spelt Gray... Aluminium is spelt Aluminum...Kerb is spelt Curb... Mould is spelt Mold & aeroplane is airplane.
