  1. i thought so... 6 speed is the most common, i have never heard of a 7 speed. although 5's were available before. i wonder what the everyday street driving is like with them...not very pleasant im guessing
  2. hmm seems like cops are really cracking down on defective cars lately and the Skylines are an easy target
  3. ricer treatment? well the first one in the pic looks more like a "wog job" than ricer...
  4. yes it is.. but either way, it was obvious the cops sent you to the EPA in the first place anyways so at the end of the day... as long as you pass thier tests
  5. im not sure but years ago, an enclosed box for the filter would be a pass...unless its changed and needs engineer cert... yes cops can be wrong....if you think about it... most of the traffic cops are the shit kicker cadets whom has started off as a no-body
  6. unfortunately i dont this was years ago... look up glass glaziers... some of them can actually mould a shape if you can send them the plastic headlight give the polish a try... i recall there was a comparison test with plastic vs glass in headlights and plastic aftermarket headlight shields sold, particularly for off road 4wds... and with plastic.. 5% of light is actually lost.
  7. Liverpool area well there is Liverpool Exhaust, they can sort your exhaust out at a very affordable price...they customise and fabricate things also im sure they can help you out with the intercooler and air filter perhaps... give them a call let us know how you go
  8. well ive found the plastic polish always works.... but like i said...look very very closely in broad day light. sometimes you could see very very fine cracks. and Generally dirty headlights always have them. if by any chance it doesnt work, there was a mob in Windsor whom glazes headlights and could mould it via the plastic one you have... because with glass you actually dont lose any % of light
  9. well if i were you, before jumping the gun... id check the basic things like Spark plugs, Fuel Filter, Gearbox oil, Differential oil, coolant, brake fluid. and probably clean out the throttle body as well as the air flow meter at least. i guarrantee it would be pretty dirty because these things arent always checked or cleaned in general maintanence over the years. you would probably feel it a bit more smoother after this....
  10. well this person is new and could be eager to know something ...too eager to do a search perhaps..... saying "search" isnt being helpful as well... as for the headlight there are products to clean it. but with plastic......you will notice that there might be hairline cracks when you look at it in the light.
  11. well im not sure not alot is said about the MCR GTR R34 but im guessing its probably a 6-speed Hollinger sequential gear box... yes hes activating clutch
  12. obviously a sequential are you asking what model of gearbox on this specific car ?
  13. nah it probably was the thread you wrote. regarding R34 GT-T auto some people on here think if a car is auto thats a sports car...its wrong. which is a load of shit. why else would they make R35 GT-R only available in sports shift auto all good champ
  14. well ....no. if it is the exact same Bulb, it should just slot into the wiring connector and then turn quater of a turn to lock in.... if you got the wrong globe..... get another one... no point stuffing around to modify it.
  15. like i said, if they summon you to be tested, it may be no big deal. police are known to be faulty with tests. Some say the Db Meter has to be a foot away from the exhaust... others say it has to be a metre away. And ive heard of encounters with police having the Db right on the tip of the muffler. thats why Random breath tests, if you are positive... they take you away and test you properly at the cop shop. because sometimes foods can give it a false reading. yeah no point stressing...
  16. yeah, not a big fan of the GTS-T or GT-T or even GST.. lol automatic?........nothing wrong with automatic dude. The world is turning towards automatic Sports shifter...
  17. im sorry to hear your unfortunate event.... look, the BEST thing for you.....is just, deal with things as they come..... sometimes people tend to OVER-worry & in the end, nothing. it really depends on your luck, im sure your not the only one in Aust with an illegal exhaust. well the fine for removing cat, i recall is double that price you mentioned.... years ago, ive had a TT supra which i removed the cat & tested at 135db & never been defected in a 3 year period. the only thing you can do, is to wack the quiet one on... and get it tested if you are summoned. because the Cops can be faulty with thier testing.... so that way the only thing you can say, is that the coppers didnt test properly. good luck
  18. Ok here is a pic of a dissasembled R34 GT-T non Xenon headlight The parker is the small connector on the side... it should twist about 3/4 of a turn anti-clock wise to detatch. let us know how you go
  19. yes, and the Blue V-spec 1 has been there for over 2 years...... i think the price was around 50,000$ or was it 55,000$? that one is nice...exterior is immaculate....and an aftermarket exhaust is a good thing also but what i didnt like about it was the aftermarket alpine or kenwood sterio. then again....no one could afford the price they were asking.....they have it at the front all the time for people to see as well...
  20. most headlight bulbs work by twisting and then locks in..... the o-ring will seal it. have you got the right size bulb and the right wattage?
  21. it should be a straight forward direct change over.... the hose clamps should be of the same size sometimes hoses can be a bit frail...
  22. yes get rid of that rubbish
  23. yes i think they are replaceable with GT-R without mods or fabrication... Alot of nissan Fuel pumps are very simillar... should be pretty straight forwards.... they are alot of DIY tips and pictures to show you how to replace fuel pumps
  24. Theres one for sale at E & M imports in Haberfield, Sydney.... i think thier asking price is 70,000$ or $75,000. its been sitting in there for donkeys years..... it seems like they have trouble selling it im guessing the price factor
  25. Yeah dude.... why do you even BOTHER comparing the 2...... R33 GTS-t is not even in the same class of car..... a better comparison would be R33 GT-R your comparison is like saying a Ford Falcon FG vs Holden Clubsport GTS VE... a low end ford vs a high end holden.... don't forget, the EVO 6 has always revolutionised the motor world through its years.... the R33 GTS25t has not had any where near that kind of reputation.
