  1. the ugly (WTF was behind here before it left the land of the rising sun)
  2. thanks AMS, their workmanship is excellent. their cores are extremely efficient. they spent a long time with the R&D getting the internal fin design spot on to provide high rates of cooling up to the point of pressure drop. at the HP levels i hope to be getting it is overkill but i know it will work and that leaves squeezing the maximum performance out of the other parts the next thing to worry about.
  3. might have to ask pumpdaddy for his source of pump specs then.... i'd go with info direct from bosch.
  4. who says it flows 235L/hr @ 5bar?? bosch specs say 102L/hr @ 6.5bar http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1139392097.ipb
  5. if you started the car with CAS plug off it will log a CAS fault and the engine check light will stay lit till cleared. if someone has a consult handset (ie mechanic or local nissan dealer) get them to re-set it. or reset the ECU.
  6. i have an R32 GTS-t driver seat in great condition no rips or tears. in sydney and ready to deal. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...T&f=12&t=111289
  7. munna on an R33 totally worthwhile but do it when you do the timing belt. 10-15kw gains.
  8. alex, the car is getting some more work done elsewhere so i can't go and look.
  9. the guys at plazmaman installed it and they used this as a test mule for a kit they will offer. the price i paid may not relate to the retail cost for the kit since i was the first one. i have a plazmaman FMIC on my R33 and i found the service and "care factor" very high with plazmaman after i ran into some difficulties installing the kit (not due to any fault of the kit). the patience of oyay & alex and their desire to ensure i was completely happy should be used as a model by every other workshop. in addition, i asked them to look at making a replacement pipe from the afm to the turbo although if looks to be a complex pipe that might have too high a cost to go into any production unless there is enough demand from skyline/stagea owners. i imagine the kit is available if anyone is looking for an alternative to the other kits on the market.
  10. i don't know but if you are in sydney you can come and try it out.
  11. yep R34 GT-t PFC ben @ UAS will probably be doing it.
  12. sure is alex the powerFC (all things going well) will be fitted in the next few weeks and then we can see what the drivability is like down low. the midrange and top end won't be an issue. the R33 hi-flow would make plenty of power for my application so an extra 15kw or thereabouts is neither here nor there to me but for the reasons above i will use a hiflowed R34 turbo to avoid any potential issues. i am trying to re-coup my costs on the R33 turbo.
  13. set of four 300ZX rims in very good condition $350.
  14. alex the rear housing is different on an R33 vs R34, it is not questionable. the outright power goal was not the issue it was whether the smaller turbine housing could be an issue on a neo RB25. in life you sometimes have to take the advice of professionals that work in that field. i am not a turbo expert but i have seen enough threads by disappointed punters that mismatched turbine housings to their application and have spent $$$$'s chasing their tails trying to fix it. who said anything about piggybacks?? terminal pm sent.
  15. correct alex hence it should be good buying for anyone interested in upgrading their turbo. i bought it to use on this car but GCG suggested their R33 hiflow turbo would not be the best choice on a neo RB25 so it is sitting there looking for a good home (it has been sent back to GCG to be checked before sale).
  16. the neo cover still fits EGA. (i have 2 spares that came with the car if anyone wants something to stick on their garage wall) btw i have an R33 GCG hi-flow with less than 5000k on it if someone is looking to upgrade their turbo.
  17. the car came back last week and here are a few pics.
  18. that seem a bit like putting shane warne in a monastery.
  19. click here for bosch pump info
  20. here is a link to a DIY bosch 984 which flows more than an 040 and less than an 044. Bosch 984 DIY the 044 needs a few minor additional parts from those listed but more or less the same. BTW it is an external pump but they mount in tank no worries same as a 984 (or any other bosch pump afaik).
  21. no probs.
  22. i'll have one in my hands tuesday but more like $220 would secure it (in sydney)
