    The plastic crimps on joints SHOULD be fine, the wire inside the fuel tank is just normal electrical wire - I asked a Auto electrician before i did my 040 install. When i put the eyelets on my wire, it did have the plastic crimps on there, but i cut them off and soldered the wires to the eyelets as i wanted maximum connection, also didn't want them dissolving.

    When i installed my Bosch 040, i extended the cables a little bit by soldering some extra on. I used heat shrink over the solder join, i checked the pump a few days later, and the heat shrink was still there. It should be fine, i got it from Supercheap Auto. If you really are concerned, get a glass jar, put some petrol in there with some heat shrink, put the lid on, and leave it a few days and see what happens.

    The ends seem to be the right colour, so it tells you it is running right. If you saw plugs that i took out of my car a few weeks ago you would have seen it was running wrong, which now reminds me i need to check the condition of the new plugs.

    That is correct, wasn't me, yesterday i was at Marion - Expressway both ways, and today i woke up at 10:30am...haven't been out of the house yet.

    Well, that's what i have, so i am boned too...i went and bought it because i thought it was legal, as the battery i have atm is the standard maintenance type.

    Yup that's me, how did you know? I haven't used the battery yet, so it may need a charge, i can drop it off tomorrow or Wednesday so you have time to charge it if need be. Oh forgot to mention, the battery is a little bit taller then my current one, so my + & - leads don't connect to the battery, so it may not fit your car either.

    I am at Aldinga, no it doesn't, it isn't needed as it is a sealed battery...as far as i am aware. EDIT: Why not go to the Lonsdale Checking Station.

    I have a 550cca Sealed Battery i could lend you...its brand new, it is meant to go in my car, but i haven't got round to rewiring my + and - cables in the boot.

    I don't know how much it would cost...but 2-2.5k should do it, ill scan a article out of HPI #44, where they start building a RB24, and send it too you.

    Spotted a Yellow R34 at the Dyson, Beach Road intersection at Christies Beach at around 11:30-12, today.

    That is a very good combo, i am running 15psi and making 265rwkw. If you are wanting to retain more of your response i would suggest a hiflow or the 0.6 a/r for the GT3076 turbo. I am running a 0.82 a/r, a little bit laggy, but boost hits nice and hard . Maybe also replace coilpacks with either Yellowjacket/Splitfire/Superspark, depends on what condition your stock ones are in.

    I like that bike...also love the movie. If i had the money, and the MAKO technology, i would make it ...i wouldn't care about the swords, but would be rather cool to have. EDIT: Who doesn't love cosplay

    Thanks for the info . I got a call from my tuner today, he said he finally noticed the plugs i had installed/taken out and did a bit o9f research on them. He said they are a Race plug, not designed for a daily driver like my car is. So he is gonna change the plugs for me, not too sure what he is going to put in, shall find out wednesday when i pick it up...most likely NGK Coppers or something.
