  1. i bought privately so had to bear all the costs myself. Should of bought from a dealer as all the problems with the car would of been covered by warranty.
  2. i have a sedan and there are 3 safety anchors...one for each seat
  3. i just filled up on wednesday and v power was 1.12
  4. nah just fixing it i would of loved to have spent that $2k on mods...fingers crossed i won't have any more problems
  5. yeh i'm in the same boat will just have to fang it a bit more these next couple of days to make some space for some v-power
  6. i'm might not have had any sticker but i've actually had other things go wrong with the V since i've bought it. only had the V for about 5 months but have had to spend over $2k on it. it's been good for the past couple of weeks but i'm dreading to think what will go wrong next.
  7. i don't have them on my car not sure if the previous owner took them off but there isn't any signs of them previously being there
  8. ok dumb question time was moving a few weeks ago and tried to put a moving trolley in the V. i couldn't figure out how to put the seats down. can the seats be put down in a V sedan? btw the boot is big enough for a few bodies if anyone is interested in kidnapping or the like
  9. yeh change the battery first i posted a topic about the same problem a couple of weeks ago http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...-R-t258736.html everythings working sweet now that the batteries have been changed.
  10. how come no one in brissy can organise a meet like this?
  11. you're asking all these questions about extreme mods to avoid getting caught...not real dodgy...right how about just driving at the speed limit, you won't have a problem then i do agree the coppers have too much power if you want to even the odds, you'd be better off installing a camera in your car and collecting footage of coppers showing bad driving practices.
  12. i've got pioneer carrozzeria head unit and dvd/sat nav when i bought the V not sure what speakers it has not a bad setup but i can't read japanese to utilise the menu and sat nav functions
  13. i don't think it looks that bad there are alot of cars out there that are much uglier
  14. finally got round to changing the batteries in the remote and it's all sweet now cheers to everyone for assisting me with this just a question on remotes, how many types of intelligent keys are there. looking at the post by n15m0, he's got 4 buttons on his remote. mine only has 3 (no alarm button)
  15. man that sucks! you put in so much time, effort and money into your ride, i sure hope you had an alarm, immobiliser and full comprehensive insurance. i'll be on the lookout
  16. you are a wealth of knowledge n15mo! yes the green key light does appear so hopefully changing the batteries will sort it all out. cheers all for your input.
  17. 1 of my remotes is hardly ever used so for both remotes to have flat batteries will be very coincidental. anyway i'll have a look at it tonight and i'm hoping that's all it is. cheers
  18. i'm having the worse luck with my V since i've had it only had it for less than 6 months and the radiator fans have karked it and now i'm having problems with my remote to unlock the doors. mine's a 2005 model and the remote has 3 bottons; lock, unlock and boot release. i've got 2 of these remotes and the car isn't responding to either of them. just a few days ago it was still responding occassionally as i'd walk around the car pressing the unlock button like a mad man. but as of yesterday it's not responding full stop. i can still lock/unlock the car when i push the button locks on the door lock but the remote itself won't lock/unlock anything. can anyone offer any advice? please don't tell me that i need to replace the door lock motor
  19. my car only has 35,000 kms so dunno what's the go there...car is 4 years old though took the v35 to the mechanic...got quoted $1100 for a genuine nissan replacement fan & labour farkin not happy jan! have you proceeded with the blitz's method yet superspit? if so how did it go?
  20. i'm sorry for you mate. for someone to steal a tow truck in order to steal a car tells me they wanted that car for more than a joy ride. the car has probably been stripped and it's parts been sold off by now.
  21. i feel ya my fan has died as well so i'm very interested to know what alternatives are out there.
  22. saw a yellow 34 last night waiting at the lights on kessels rd/mains rd intersection with the plate "YLW 34" anyone here?
  23. i think i might be having the same problem whenever i've got the 35 idling there for more than 10 minutes, i'll notice the temperature rising...air con is usually running so not sure if this exacerbates the problem. the first time this happened, i had coolant spitting out everywhere. I always switch the engine off now if i know i'll be stationary for a while.
  24. is that even legal? i thought all radar traps have to be signed.
