  7. can FAST do v series skylines yet? i noticed chris rogers did one for a v skyline on another thread
  8. from calamvale to the city it would probably take anywhere from 30-40 minutes...add about 15-30 minutes extra during peak hour.
  9. i filled up last night the petrol indicator light hadn't even appeared before I filled up. put in about 60L tank would definitely be more than 70L on a side note, everyone keeps talking about the trip meter showing how many km's are left, where can I find this trip meter?
  10. was walking over the william jolly bridge this arvo at about 4.30 and in the time it took me to walk across it, I saw 33's on 3 separate occasions. the odd thing was each one of them was white.
  11. i was thinking about picking AAMI what's everyone's experience with them been like?
  12. i saw LOV17 yesterday as well but no one was around to wave to. i'm finding not many people wave at the v35
  13. hi everyone it's rego time again and was wondering which insurers everyone selected as their CTP Insurer. Though there isn't much price difference between the different insurers, some insurers may provide better add-on products or initiatives, better service or easier claims process (especially for an import). This is the first time I've renewed the rego for the skyline. So who have you gone with and why? cheers
  14. if you want to be a fully fledged qld'er then you have to support all the local sporting teams, drink XXXX and dress in tshirt/singlet, shorts and thongs on your days off. just like with any major city, the further you live from the city, the longer it will take to to get in. the public transport has improved over the years. i only moved back to brissy after living in sydney for the last 7 years and i did notice that the bus service has improved alot...from the southside anyway. i have noticed that traffic has gotten alot worse now. depending on which direction you'll be coming into the city will determine the travel time also. not during peak hour, i can get from sunnybank (suburb about 15km's south of the city) into the city in about 15 mins. the freeways here are always pretty free flowing and even in peak hour you are still moving though at a slow pace. it's a carpark on the main roads in sydney during peak hour. if you provided us with info about what suburbs you were interested in moving to then i'm sure people can provide better info. cheers
  15. spotted a black 33 with the plates "PEZSED" heading south on the william jolly bridge at about 4.30 this afternoon did get a good look at the car apart from the model, colour and plates
  16. i remember now that it cost be about $450 (insurance included) but that was from the sydney depot (at Villawood) to the brissy depot (Acacia Ridge) CEVA was formerly known as TNT Logistics
  17. i moved back to brissy from sydney in september and got my clio transported up. i just surfed for online quotes on the net and found the best priced one to be CEVA so went with them. they were very professional and my car was even washed when i picked it up from the brissy depot.
  18. i'm running 235/45-17 on my v and have troubles with the bottom scraping here is some good info i received from n15m0 about this issue "Stock wheel & tyre combo: 225/50/17 Overall diameter = 656.59mm Yours: 235/45/17 Overall diameter = 643.12mm So you are technically lower by around 14mm which is what is causing you to scrape and possibly made worse by suspension sagging as well depends on how many kms you have on the clock." since you intend on putting 255's at the back which equates to 661.3mm, i think it should prevent the issue with scraping. sorry i can't offer more advice as i'm still green around the ears
  19. i use 95 and no issues here though i've only had my ride for a few months
  20. i'm a cheap master and have bought my baby nismo tyre valve caps
