  2. Put a 2jz in it...
  3. So I might I actually put my coilovers to go use and give it some stance... - Still gotta lower the front and add some demon camber. Pics too come.....
  4. My old man uses it all the time cause he has an iphone now... It works good I guess if people report what they see. Anyways was driving on the south coast of NSW and my old man tells me there is a police car along a road we were driving, and yep sure enough there was a green VE Commodore police car sitting behind some bushes. Lucky I was doing the speed limit cause it was a verrrrry straight road and around double demerits...
  5. Sorry to dig up and old thread, but a year and a half later, and I still got the same amount of quality workmanship and effort in the 1st post. Bought a car, 2JZ powered S15, with so many clutch problems and now have been sourced and fixed by Mick and his team. Yea the bill at the end sucks but no one ever said motorsport was cheap... Cheers, Matt...
  6. Find yourself a 40mm radiator, with that size you can retain the factory fan and shrouding and not have any rubbing or clearance issues. I think I used a cheap JustJap item and with a header/breather tank setup and I never see temps over 95 degrees on the track and 80 on the street...
  7. Dude, use the other forums... Look on nissansilvia.com, that will be the place to start.... or even a Japanese parts trader that will post to your door.
  8. The car has run a 12.4 @ 122mph, with a lazy launch then wheel spin into third by the previous owner. I hope to get a flat 12 with launch control tuned into the computer, plus get some 1000cc injector and better coils as the are stock ATM and really holding back more power. Off boost its drives OK, in the wet I don't boost it, that's just asking for crash LOL...
  9. Ha ha, I still have the Ceffy till its sold. The boot used to have a spoiler but the holes were only taped up so I got a carbon fibre lid for it and it make it look tough from the back.... Engine, gearbox, turbo and intercooler are engineered, but with a 3.5 straight through exhaust from the turbo back is way to loud so I'm looking at one of though varex xforce mufflers for it. As for drama's, clutch failed after I bought it and drove from Brisbane to Sydney and the power steering pump decided to fail on me. But its all fixed now. But other than that it make 401 hp on roughly 1.1 bar of boost and is a handful even with semi slick on the back. Whats been happening with your Cefiro? How'd your HSD's go?
  10. My new love...
  11. Need more info... Can you still engage gears? and let the clutch out to drive? What does the clutch pedal feel like? springy or soft and doughy. Where is the contact point? high or low in the pedal travel. Not sure with HD clutches but anything with a puk or button type clutches are not ment to be ridden (at high revs) as this causes heat and wears the clutch. So they are either on or off with the pedal.
  12. Offically FOR SALE. $17000 with a full set of drift rims (volks that can be seen in my sig). This car is drift ready and is reliable on the street and track. PM me for more info.
  13. Yea not many in Oz, only 2 or 3... Picking one up from a mate with a price I could not refuse, drove it once and had to have it. Sounds wicked and has some serious power...
  14. 2JZ powered S15 might be on the cards....
  15. Might be FOR SALE very very soon....
  16. Very, very clean. Ride height is perfect on the work rims.........
  17. Dont get HDi ebc, personally im not pleased with the product functions. Gain feature only works when you turn the boost up. The digital read out on the gauge is pretty cool but its extremely bright at night.
  18. Coming along nicely....
  19. Clean
  20. Run less boost, mate had a similar problem, we turned the boost down and it runs alot better.
  21. Too much black, might as well put a neo cover on it. Dust and dirt shows up to much on black. At least have a contrasting colour to give it some sort of feature, i.e. colour of the car maybe... Well thats just IMO...
  22. Haha, yea I used the cooler that night I bought the stuff. Its good when you got a well paying job. Selecting the right products and parts for the build. But I probably do spend too much on it, more than 2/3 of my salary for this year lol. Ah well I have fun, sometimes....
  23. Direct Clutch Service cushion button clutch, 2800lb pressure plate, steel flywheel, ARP flywheel bolts, clutch plate bolts, s-p-i-g-o-t, clutch aliging tool and throw out bearing. Finally got to test it out today and the pedal is so light, contact point is at the bottom of the pedal, opposite of my old one. Almost feels like a stock clutch. Its going to be hard to get used too, espically in traffic...
  24. Got a call from the clutch shop today, problem was found and fixed. I had bent the input shaft on the gearbox when I was putting it in, well more like abusing the sh/t out of the box trying to get it to fit. So yea dont treat your box like sh/t until its in the car. Pick it up tomorrow and then of to the exhaust shop to plumb bov back into the intake. Its getting closer to getting engineered then back on the street...
