  1. I was concerned with that issue when buying mine, but Just Jap sells Nismo gearknobs that do both 10mm and 12mm, not sure what is the actual size.
  2. Haha, mine did that till I re-wired up the front indicators, I actually liked it when they flashed faster..
  3. Yes, there is different reading between auto and manual clusters, I have a manual with an auto cluster. speedo is out by 10 kays, changing the cable fixes it but I forgot which model you need it from...
  4. What could it be?
  5. I spent over $1000 getting my head overhauled and at the same time I had the oil galleries bored out and had the machine shop remove a rear welsh plug to allow a fitting to be used as a drain. I used a speed flow fitting then a pipe ran down to a "T" piece to the turbo drain to the sump. Heres some pics... That blue thing is the fitting from a top view, rear of head. Side views
  6. I switched the rims around. The rears look alot better with some of the tyre sticking out of the guard, if its goin to be an issue ill give it some camber. As for the fronts it sits further away from the strut but it still looks like its goin to rub on the rail not as much as hitting the brake line bracket and tearing my tyre but still hitting that rail. Another thing is now the wheel sits more out there is more lock on the wheel and the tie rod now comes in contact with the lower suspension arm at full lock. When it does hits it, it moves that mounts for the caster rod, changing the suspension alignment. Is this goin to be an issue? I can post some pictures to make it easier to understand...
  7. F 17x8.5 +38 offset with 215/45R17 R 17x7.5 +32 offset with 215/45R17 This is correct and suprised me as I thought I had 17x7.5 all round, but ive never had to change front tyres since I got the car. Now correct me if im wrong, im still trying to understand offset, but the less the offset the more they stick out of the guards or from the hub?
  8. My Car is off the road atm after the last time I went to Willowbank raceway which as I found out turned out to be a good thing as I might have found myself in a very dangerous situation driving anywhere. I went to a drift night at Willowbank raceway and took my car out on the track for some fun. I did about 10 to 15 laps and noticed that everytime I went to full lock my steering would become very heavy. i didnt think anything bad of it at the time as i thought it was a HICAS issue. Inspecting the inside of my wheel i noticed there was a deep cut in the side wall of the tyre, a good 15-20cms long and it was several layers deep. As Id spin out my steering was full lock and the added force of the car spinning and the wheels not being in the direction the car was travelling the tyre would rub up against the chassis and brake line mount and cut my tyre up I have the same problem on the other side. Now I went for a drive in my mates GTR and was diappointed at the steering turning circle on it, with my car doing a full "U" turn, in the GTR Id have to do a 3 point turn. Now im just wondering if my steering rack has spacers inside it. Compared to other imports you can see there looks to be more lock. Now what can I do? do I get different offset wheels, fit wheels spacers but being a street registered car will it comply with an engeering certificate, or would the rack be flogged out?
  9. Ill have a look into it, wont promise anything... Turbo is oil and water cooled as described above, this turbo is a bolt up to the original manifold and u can retain cooling from the stock turbo...
  10. bought mine with it right mounted, but my qld plates are the same size front and back so im glad its not in the middle...
  11. If you have the cash get the CES item, but if you think you can spend $400 somewere else get the justjap item.
  12. How much are you looking at spending? ebc or maybe exhaust manifold and dump pipe might be some good mods...
  13. This turbo will bolt straight up to the standard Nissan exhaust manifold for RB20's and RB25's. The dump pipe will also bolt straight up to the same motors. The turbo was already installed with the purchase of the car and used some sort of high temp hose for oil cooling, not braided and the water cooling was blocked off. You may need a gasket for the dump pipe clamp, which can be purchased through the KKR website and possibly some intercooler hoses...
  14. Forgot to mention, pick up only.

  16. Im using a stock hi flowed manifold with the GT30xx, im actually not entirely sure wat the exact specs of the turbo as the rear housing is a custom item which is smaller then wat u can actually buy, ive been told its something like a GT3062. When i fitted it to the RB the wastegate wasnt completely opening and fouling on a weld in the custom dump pipe, but after that was fixed it still wants to continually boost, even with the boost controller all the way down. my mircotech has an ignition cut at 16 psi to prevent from overboosting. so could the problem be with the actuator itself?
  17. ok, so did u just change the diaphram or the whole actuator?
  18. G'day Rezlo. I was just wondering if you were able to fix the problem with the overboost and what you actually did to fix it? as im experiencing the a similar problem to you. I have upgraded my turbo to a GT3062 and having the boost climb to high levels like your car.
  19. Gday everyone, This is my 1988 Nissan Cefiro which I purchased in late Nov'08 with the intention to continue modifing a drift spec Cefiro. It made 268rwhp or just over 200kws atw @14psi on a KKR 430 turbo and a Microtech LT10s ECU on its first tune. I have recently change to a Garrett GT3082 turbo with a custom rear housing and had the head rebuild with a cometic head gasket. The Ceffy is currently getting dyno tuned and hopefully I get it mid next week... Cheers.
