I can personally vouch for Tristans car: it ****ing moves - ive driven it both with its old 2530, and its first tune with its GT30 - and the thing is a weapon. I went for a drive in it on thursday night with its new tune , and all of a sudden it is a lot , and i mean alot quicker then it used to be. so its making more power. kighting up r comps in 4th onto boost on 50% throttle is a good sign of power. ill be driving it again soon to confirm this alone. now, tristan knows it doesnt make 511 on a real dyno. im currently holding his dyno chart from 5pm , and it states ***rwhp, in shootout. this is its true power, tristan will host it tomorrow so i wont be giving the number away tristan is a personal friend, so yeah im biased. i dont see the need to attack him - it makes power, its yet to make a time , so wait , and see how he goes. he hasnt come on here pulling his knob over his power, he has answered every question honestly, so please lay off. as for the rest of the shit fighting, go for it. i love being reminded of what primary school was like.

i think ill need to try one of the remedies, my thing is either misfiring or breaking down very badly under load

just a quick question have been trying to sort out a misfire my rb25det aus 4 door r31 has under hard load. have tried coils afm plugs fuel filter, checked all hoses , you name it its been thought of. it has cooler, 3 inch turbo back zorst, twin plate nismo clutch, 500hp walbro fuel pump. its on stock boost, there is no bleed etc to raise it one thing that has come to mind - maybe the pump has been mounted too low in the tank , causing the strainer to be squashed or similar. could this cause a stutter at 4500rpm and above on full load ( ie wide open throttle) if you bring it up slowly its ok, if you use less then 90% throttle its fine. if you downchange hard its bad, and seems a little worse on low tanks of fuel. im begining to think this may be the case, but since i have no mechanical skill id like to hear what ppl think before i pay for someone to pull it out im at wits end, drag wars is on in a week and i want to go with a healthy car Tom

id like to think a 12 can be done with alot less mods, know of a mate who has a stock turbo and ecu on his s14, who has done a 12.4 anyhow clutch died tonight so its time to approach that issue first.
