  1. ..ahem..a little more power? i think scotty and jetwreck have both achieved a bit more than a little I'm surprised no-one has bitten on this comment, as I run into all the time I'll end my rant now
  2. Can anyone confirm if Crankin' Car Audio is still operational? The website is down, is Hakki still in business? I've got a HRIII DVB-T on the way and was going to talk to Hakki about doing the install for me, and possibly looking at doing ipod/ipad/iphone integration at the same time. If anyone has been there lately please let me know.
  3. lol spoil sport
  4. Exhaust - dump pipe, probably best off waiting until you replace the turbo with a highflow They have a tendency to go after 100,000km's, in Japan I believe they replace them during that service. It's not all bad though as a highflow pulls like a freight train and is going to last a lot longer due to getting rid of the ceramic turbine. Besides with the stock turbo I doubt you are going to find remarkable performance upgrades from just an upgraded dump pipe alone. ECU, so far in the country that we know of the Nismo & Impul aftermarket ecu upgrades have been tried and tested in the AR-X. From the opinions and stats that have been provided the Nismo seems like the choice of the two. Keeping in mind that no ECU from Japan is going to be tuned for 98RON and for all possible modifications, probably not going to make a huge difference but...? Silver Auto Service are currently developing a remap system that will be done with live runs on the dyno, however the tool they need to do it is currently in Korea and they cannot confirm when the tool will arrive. Long story but as soon as there is an update someone will post something on the forum. Aside from Mine's, Dolphin, Impul & Nismo there are also aftermarket ecu's available from G-Zone, DMY Racing.
  5. LOL I appreciate it, I just am a big fan of plug & play as apposed to cutting wiring etc. I know, man up! lol You need a cable from Ducati02 that allows you to run from the hriii (3 rca) to the factory tuner (custom white plug), ducati02 or andy65b will be able to provide more information on that for you.
  6. Spotted a blue skyline (possibly a R34 GTR) without plates traveling on a car carrier through the intersection of Vardy's Road & Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown. Maybe someone's new pride and joy being delivered.
  7. Spotted a grey wc34 at the intersection of Vardy's Road & Sunnyholt Road at 3pm.
  8. I might talk to Jaycar anyway, there is one up the road and I'm just interested in what solution they could come up with. Can you tell me what the factory connections are called? i.e. are they a special japanese aerial connection?
  9. ..... but iain is doing it.... don't hold your breath while you are waiting
  10. Sorry I scanned your message quickly and thought you said "some larger rims" lol
  11. Just a quick question why we are on the topic of the aerials. Is there an adapter that can be used to plug the aerial inputs into the HRII or HRIII or is the only way to splice and dice with the f-connector?
  12. Here here, thanks Nick I just figure most of us miss out on things we would have gone to if we knew about them!
  13. Might be worth talking to Aaron at Import Monster, perhaps you can drop the new rims to their japanese warehouse and get them to freight them with their frequent shipments. Would probably work out cheaper than just freighting them yourself.
  14. So all of those who registered with several different email addresses will be in trouble
  15. I'm certain I've spotted you a few times in the Blacktown / Kings Park region myself I was in the family wagon so you wouldn't have spotted it.
  16. Thank you for confirming the total km's in the thread, yes a person with knowledge would understand that the new dash would mean km's start at zero but it's still only fair to provide the estimate of the total km's the vehicle has travelled. Just providing the km's it has done since the new dash went in is not really helpful. So it's safe to assume the 100,000km service has been performed? Good luck with the sale!
  17. Are they the RCA to white plug jobs (for the factory tuner)? If so can you get a spare one to go with the hr3 unit please, they are about $70 - $80 aren't they?
  18. Awesome stuff! I posted it up in the Stagea area because I have missed heaps of good events because I seldom look at any of the other forums. Would be nice to see a Stagea contingent!
  19. pencil it in your diary then and see how your busy schedule pans out. looks like a good drive and should be a fun day out for all
  20. Any Stags interested? Would be nice if we could get a good collection of C34's and M35's along for the trip. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ru-t324580.html
  21. I suspect Chucky was saying 86k on the odometer, not the price
  22. How about an indication or estimate on the *real* odometer reading? The ad is deceptive in that you state 14,000 and in the text at the bottom you repeat it and mention that is on the 320km/h aftermarket dash. What reading was on the original dash when it was removed?
  23. Hey, your running caliper adapters on the front yes? How do you find them? No issues? Looking at some options for future investment in the braking department, just wanted some feedback on the adapters.
  24. Nah, I'm still thinking hr3 FTW! Interview at Granville on Monday, fingers crossed.
