  1. There is usualy a meet-up at the BP which is 10 min up the road from Donnybrooks Shell(I always forget the name of the area), people who drive up on sat moring will all usualy stop by and fill up there, so its common to meet some people to drive up with. I'll probably make a Sat morning DECA cruise thread again some time closer to the date.
  2. Yeah the Poewr Meter i-D, just taps into the ecu rev wire i think(cant remember which one, its green and yellow on my car) And it tells you the power you are making, you can also callibrate the speedo on it, and it will show: speed, power and can make diferent graphs and readings out of them, it also does 0-400m timer and pieces together a dyno graph by the way of your driving, you can also set warnings for speed and power. But it seems my Power Meter has run into some problems today, it is randomly sounding warnings and showing random power and speed outputs from time to time. I'm thinking its a loose wire. So if i can get it working, i'll still be interested in the SBC. i think the going rate for a single Blitz i-D SBC is around $350-500, depending on color and if its Spec R or Spec S
  3. Would you be willing to sell 1 only I already have a Power Meter i-D and an SBC i-D would be a good addition If you are interested, how much for 1 SBC i-D and 1 solenoid? Thanks

    Snow Chains

We use 50mm wide tape for line marking at work, its like duct tape, but does not leave as much sticky residue it also comes in a range of colours, as far as i know it comes in: blue, red, yellow and white coz that is what we use at work sorry i don't know the brand, but i'll be at work later today and can have a look it costs something like $8 per roll and is around 15-20m
  5. omg that pink car's wing actualy grew a wing of its own on top *The emoticons tell the story of my reactions*
  6. i left my stuff un attended for the past 2 DECAs and nobody took anything, i even left my phone and camera by the side of my stuff. most people that go there are members and i dont think anyone would take anyone elses stuff DECA is very easy on tires, i am still on the same set of tires since my 1st DECA and i drive my car daily as well, so you may not need spare tires unless you are running realy low on tread
  7. im guessing Mick would be there as always

put tape on your rims before the trip, so that if you get metal chains they rub on the tape and don't damage wheels i've seen people tape their whole front of the car, when going for long trips, to avoid chips in paint and bugs splatered on paint
  9. does that mean that the Pulsar is making a return in a manual form, or still automatic?
  10. yah Peter will probably come down as well, but im seriusly considering staying there on Sat night, last time i drove home from DECA, i was dead tired, makes it too dangerous to drive but i think the problem was that i always end up working till 12am and not getting enough sleep Friday night Its bad that you missed the May DECA, coz everyone was missing cones, especialy on the Longwang
  11. bringing a GPS this time Phil? i remember i missed a few as well
  12. don't worry, theres plenty of Roman to go around
  13. ha ha yeah for sure, my car is stock though (starts comming up with excuses) lol
  14. The cars are broken up into two groups, one group goes on the skidpan, while the other is doing the sprints There is 2 cone layouts on the skidpan and you get 2 attempts at each On the Sprints you have 2 small tracks Long Wang and Mini Wang you get 1 familirization run 80% speed and 2 100% attempts once both groups finish, they swap over and the sprint group does skidpan and vice versa Once both groups finish, there is a lunch break After lunch there are Battles, where you get to pick anyone you want to race against as in the skidpan session, there are again 2 layouts and you get 2 attempts at both layouts by this time its usualy already past 4pm and most people pack up The Scoring is done according to times. Each run is timmed and then all the times are ranked from fastest to slowest and points out of 50 are given, 50 for fastest time, down to 1 for slowest The total of all your points scored for the day is what determines the placing. For more info have a look at the SAU Motorsport Championship Thread
  15. damn, this one is filling up quick, there is at least around 15-20ppl who entered already judging just by those who posted in here
  16. if you want those RE55s the new owner is selling them, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...st-t277879.html you might want to have a look at them in person, coz in pictures they seemed to have a couple more track days left in them.
  17. damn, that sucks are you sure your neighbours or someone in your street doesn't hold a grudge against you or your car
  18. Money paid, forms emailed w00t w00t see you all there
  19. last time i checked it was $1100 for the R33 GTR wheels with RE55s on them, the RE55s are at 60% i think EDIT: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=393111 i think they just sold a couple of days ago, but u can call him to find out
  20. *set alarm clock* i might finaly stay there on sat this time, been to 2 DECAs and i'm always too tired on the drive back, might be coz i ususaly work till 12am on friday night and don't get enough sleep
  21. ha ha, i was starting to wonder when ur neighbours will get tired of your car maybe its time for a smaller exhaust i think Phil(philmak) is selling R33 GTR wheels with RE55s on them, so you might want to ask him if he can spare a center cap
  22. ha ha you'd think so.... i worked on Boxing and Kickboxing events when we host a high profile match we have to hire in at least 20 more security staff to keep the crowds under controll compared to a full house basketball game like Tigers VS Dragons, heaps of ppl have a few drinks are revved up by the action and the adrenalin gets flowwing. ofc like hooning not everyone does it but the minority ruin it for the majority as always
  23. you can drive as fast or as slow as you want, its not about racing but more about having fun. its less dangerous then a track as the speeds are smaller and you can prety much go as hard as you want on the skidpan as the speeds are quiet low there is only 50 reserved spaces available so you have to be quick as i have a feeling this one will fill up quick
  24. i dont work on monday , so i'll get up early and refresh the events page every 15min to make sure i send my forms in ASAP
