I'm a fan of not getting arrested. Hence the racetrack, esp this close to Targa the coppas will be on the lookout for Targa recce. Yeah goes well, very happy with it. I'm surprised how easy it is to drive, the lack of tourqe means it won't spin the wheels unless you clutch it. Got it into the 62's at Symmons, i've put some more boost and timing into it since then. E85 is on the way too.

it's getting close now, just had my leave approved, and Damo and I will spent the long weekend doing recce. Had my car out on the track week before last, need to get some time as baskerville to set the suspension up properly though. who's GC8 you flogging?

Best I got was a 60.9. But as you can see it's all about HP, and the GT-R was up 10-15km/h at the end of the straights, and cause of the brake problem was a braking 35-50m earlier than a was in the GT-R. In the Targa N1 the last time I drive it, it was in 2009 trim, and I got a 60.3. But 2010 trim was about 50rwkw more.

the washer bottle is the temp catch tank. no idea on power, only dyno it's been near is the arse dyno, asit was all road tuned. It's running 16psi boost at the moment...might need to turn it up some more though

Well the car got it's first run on the track this weekend. I was pretty happy with how it went, only problem was a pertty bad shudder though the steering wheel after the brakes heated up, i'm hoping it's just the pads going through there first heat cycle. They are Endless ccx that came with the calipers, and from a quick glance at the net, other people have had the same problem with the stoptech/ccx combo. I recon I'll put some hawks into them. The car is very easy to drive, and we only just touched the surface of the shock tuning, the rebound is still at full soft. The car was still getting .5 sec a lap faster with each change. Ended up the day with a 62.8. Always fun when people come and basicly call you a lier when you tell them it's a standard wrecker rb20, with a rb20 highflow. I will put some video on the tubes tonight, and upload some of Damo's artsy pics

One of the local rally guys bought a ex factory ARC Subaru and blew a head gasket. He went to Subaru and got a EJ20 gasket and it didn't fit, so he got another one thinking they'd given him the wrong one... then he got a EJ25 one and it fitted. Turns out the factory subies were running EJ25's stapmed as EJ20's. Best rumour I've heard is that the group b Lancia Delta S4's were hiding nitrous in the roll cage
