  1. Did some tuning over the weekend. sorted a boost leak that made a bad noise at 17+ psi. After going over the logs from friday night, the car makes 16psi at 4000rpm. I've upped the boost to 19psi, but havn't done and tuning or logging on it yet. Damo wasn't able to drive the car for more tuning today, so i knocked up a heatshield to keep the inlet cool Should have the tuning finished this week, and then it's off to it's first supersprint on sunday
  2. Race Radiators in Melb. I drew up a plan, and they made it. $750 for a 55mm core for memory. You do need to run a coolent header tank/remote fill though.
  3. I ran a short radiator in my GTSt and made a copy Gibson airbox. Won't have any before and afters unfortinatuly.
  4. seems like a great event for navigaters
  5. where's the box-o-apex seals? how much cheaper are the lico's than the sparco's?
  6. secret
  7. is't the plazman plenum just a replacement for the top 1/2 of the rb20 inlet? IE it keeps the std runners. The local guy here with the 295rwkw made his own plenum using the same idea as the plazman, and he can't praise it enough. Spose the question is, do the dyno figures always match the real world? As you said you probably won't know till you go the the track and see if loss of response on the dyno equates to anything.
  8. i've been quite surprised with the car. Damo's done more driving than me cause i've been tuning it, but i've found it nice and responsive when i have driven it. Throttle response is much better than std. All in all i'm pretty happy with how mine feels, esp since it's running flat 15deg timing and 10psi of boost.
  9. usually means the tuner is too lazy to put the drive ratios into the dyno.
  10. i dunno, that hot chick at Hadspen was checking them out and loving them
  11. We put the naavigators seat in today and did some tuning. Seems to be coming along nicly. Some pics of the car out and about to piss damo off.
  12. I think the Haltech can live without a AFM Yeah i'll be getting some strut braces at some stage, just on the lookout for some cheap ones. possibly an engine dampner too, as I don't want to be replacing engine mounts all the time.
  13. I recon the AFM will handle it Billit turbochargers high flowed it, was about $1600. I'll get a better idea of the responce when I tune it tomorrow. But the inital reaction is that it's pretty responsive on the limp around tune.
  14. Just put a Garrett on
  15. Well the car got it maiden run up the road and back tonight. It's getting wheel aligned tomorrow morning, then i'll start tuning it.
  16. it'll have all the boosts the turbo can push, cause we all know a wrecker RB20 can handle 40 pound all day everyday
  17. sorry it m6x1.0 dunno why i hit 6
  18. cool i'll give em a call tomorrow, but the earls catalouge didn't seem to have many barb fittings at all.
  19. Hoping for 210-230 rwkw on BP 98, and 240 - 260 rwkw on E85 we used vht crincle paint for the rockers.
  20. djetro looks like a 1/8npt to 3mm
  21. been to enzed, not sure if there is a pirtek in town
  22. Pretty simple I would have thought. The only place I can find the M6x1.6 to 8mm barb adapter is from nengun for $25, local places just look at me funny when I ask for one. Anyone here know where to buy one from?
  23. still have the catch can?
  24. While is such a big restriction on testing the drivers will be driving in other forms of motorsport. At the end of the day the best form of training for a race driver is racing.
  25. When it was in exclusive cars, the word going round was he'd take 40k for it. Seems 100 beers will take the price down a bit
